It is easier to become educated today than it was in the past.
托福独立写作范文:现在比以前更容易接受教育(最新版)编制人:__________________审核人:__________________审批人:__________________编制学校:__________________编制时间:____年____月____日序言作文(composition)是经过人的思想考虑和语言组织,通过文字来表达一个主题意义的记叙方法。
Nowadays it is easier to be an educated person than it was in the past. It is easier to become a educated person today than it was in the past.
Raising children is definitely not an easy task, but it is also one of the most rewarding experiences in life. As a parent, I believe that it is important to provide a loving and nurturing environment for my children to grow and thrive. This involves not only meeting their physical needs, but also their emotional and psychological needs. For example, when my daughter was feeling upset aboutnot doing well on a test, I sat down with her and talked through her feelings. I reassured her that it's okay to make mistakes and that what's important is how she learns from them. I also shared with her some of my ownexperiences of failure and how I overcame them. This helped her feel understood and supported, and she was able to bounce back from the disappointment.Another important aspect of raising children is settingboundaries and teaching them right from wrong. This can be challenging at times, especially when they push back and test the limits. However, it is crucial to be consistent and firm while also being understanding and patient. For instance, when my son wanted to stay out past his curfew, I had to enforce the rules while also explaining to him the reasons behind them. It's all about finding a balance between being a disciplinarian and a friend.

It is common belief that the rapid development of our daily means of transport such as bus, automobile, subway and so on has a significant effect on human life. Owing to the fact, people can save time and take easy way to commute during hour traffic. To illustrate this viewpoint, I can not think of a better example than private cars. Compared with walking on foot, it isdramatically fast and driving is not as complicated as operating a carriage. The importance of modern technology is clear to us.In addition, another indispensable part of my consideration is that the efficiency in communication has been greatly improved by the development of technology. It is a truth universally acknowledged that the modern society has a desperate need for efficiency especially in commercial practice or an educational environment. Compared to the past, it took people then one to six months to write letters and made it reach to other end of communication, if the distance was too far away. The present-day society has witnessed the huge amount of time being saved by using computers and E-mails. Sometimes, this can be minimized to as quickly as one second. And of course, I do not intend to create the impression here that technology is all good. However, there is no escaping the fact that technology also has some disadvantages like wars, pollutions, and the decline of our health. W e admit that some modern problems of society ar e attributed to the application of the bad parts and the mistaken extension beyond our law and humanity. Nevertheless, what I need to emphasize here is that most of these issues can be solved or even prevented with the development of technology. They fail to look at the matter in the long run. In the final analysis, I am still of the firm opinion that……,and sum up the given reasons discussed above, we can safely reach the conclusion that choosing……is a rather wise decision if……. In the final analysis, I am still of the firm opinion that it is necessary for college students to work on a part-time job during there college years. And sum up the given reasons discussed above, we can safely r each the conclusion that choosing part-time job is a rather wise decision if these students pay more attention to their safety problems and try not to be money-obsessed individuals. It is on a whole an optional act to us to work before graduation.小作文综合写作:Introduction:●Overall, the speaker refutes(反驳) the reading materials argument about___1主题___ by providing contradictory(反对的)evidence concerning several critical respects (aspects) listed below.●In summary, the lecture casts serious doubt on the reading passages in thediscussion of whether ___1主题____ by questioning the following essential parts of the argument.Body paragraph 1:●The speaker begins by pointing out that___2听力反驳的第一个层面___●While the reading passages maintains that___3阅读的相关内容____,thispoint is invalidated by the listening material because the speaker argue that___*4听力第一论据____Body paragraph 2:●Next, the Speaker continues his refutation against the view expressed in thereading with the aid of the fact that___*5听力材料第二层面___.●Although ___6阅读相关内容____, the speaker completely disagrees it andprove that ____*7听力第二论点的论据___.Body paragraph3:●In terms of ___8听力第三个层面___, the passage and the lecture reachnothing but a disagreement.●Differing from the former which claims that____9阅读相关内容___, thelatter remains a suspicious attitude that___*10 听力第三点论据___. Overall,the speaker refutes the reading materials argument about The School Uniform Policy, by providing contradictory evidence concerning several aspects listed below. In summary, the lecture casts serious doubt on the reading passages in the discussion of whether schools should implement a compulsory School Uniform Policy. The speaker begins by pointing out that cost and expenses in carrying out this policy. While the reading passage maintains that wearing school uniform is to reduce family’s economic burden, this point is invalidated by the listening material because the speaker argues that school uniform will require additional spending of buying more cloths and they are not very likely to be wore for a long time.Next, the speaker continues his refutation against the view expressed in the reading with the aid of the fact that it has a negative influence on students’academic performance. Although this policy tends to reduce transformation and save time in choosing cloths, students show the opposite result and may do harm to individual students taste and freedom. In terms of the connection between wearing trendy cloths and occurrence of violence events, the passage and the lecture reach nothing but a disagreement. Differing from the former which claims that to wear personal and fashionable clothes may incur violence in school environments, the latter remains asuspicious attitude that this approach is far from effective and suggests that alternative methods such as being kind, walking with company and so on. According to my understanding, the greatest leader of all times was Mahatma Gandhi . and I have several reasons for that. Why:to begin with,——,for example,——Besides,——,simply because,——So,——替换:I think/ believe/ suppose / guess/ betIn my opinion/ I assume thatAccording to my understandingAs far as I am concernedI hold the opinion thatI am under the impression thatI got the feeling that并列结构:To begin with; Also, personally speakingFor one thing;nevertheless,I believe thatFirst and foremost;in additionFor one thing;in the second place,First; That, however,……Like & Dislike:My favorite ……isI love/ enjoy/ have a fancy for/ have a great affection forI care for/ do fancy forI find my self addicted toI absolutely am into/ crazy aboutI am a (mobile) nut/ a big funSth. Also, personally speaking, he is of great help to those ambitious students who were eager to attend the foreign universities fill out their applications and edit their personal statement till very late.W ell, to be honest, I got the felling that good parents all distinguished themselves in treating their child patiently with an open mind. For one thing, it often takes many efforts to teach their kid about good and bad. Sometimes when kid gets very radical the parents needs to be patient enough to bring him or her back to the track. In addition a good parent also needs to be supportive enough when the child raises a reasonable request. If the kids are in trouble they should trust the kids to make their own decisions, like how to spend their pocket money or which study group to join. Only such parent can one make a good parent.W ell, according to my understanding, Lance Armstrong is my most admirable role model for several reasons. And even in dangerous situations, it could even save my life. I will just have to make a call telling others that I am in danger. More importantly, if I have to say, it’s also a great entertainment. When I get bored, it’s a music box, because my favorite MP3 music and MP4 movie-clips within my cell will easily cheer me up.W ell, without doubt, I’d like to say comedy amuses me most and I have a couple of reasons. First and foremost, it’s so relaxing. Whenever I want to watch a movie, more often than not, I’m looking for something fun, something thatrelieves my tiredness or sadness. A comedy fits my demand perfectly, as it’s nothing doctrine to teach seriously unlike documentaries, or tragedies or tear-jerkers and so on. In addition, computer has also pushed the increasing trends of science and technology, based on their amazing calculating ability has been applied in the most high-tech fields, many software are developed to help research in other disciplines. W ell, in my opinion, my 20th birthday, my first surprising party held by my friends, surprised me most, and I have 2 main reasons for that. First of all, I was amazed by the definition of true friendship as some of my old friends traveling 2 hours by airplane coming to celebrate my birthday, who attacked me dramatically with a birthday cake. Another thing that was surprising and touching to me was that they took a photo of me which made the whole occasion unforgettable. Finally, they sang a birthday song for me according to western tradition, which is totally beyond my expectation.I got the feeling that just as people in western countries do, we Chinese hold Spring Festival to celebrate our lunar new year, which is the biggest event for each family as well as the whole nation. First, on the eve there usually is a big family reunion, and all families from all over China will be sitting around the same table, feasting, toasting and chitchatting. Besides, the tropical weather that I will enjoy is a perfect natural environment. For example, I don’t have to worry about the off-gas from automobiles, nor dazzling reflection of sun light from modern skyscrapers at all.W ell, I hold the opinion that living in a modern apartment with large roomswould be a wise decision, and I have two main reasons for that. (14)Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: it is easier to maintain good health nowadays than it was in the past?
(话题引入+他人观点+明确立场+过渡句)The desire for good health is universal. From past to present, people have been striving for physical fitness through any possible ways. The fundamental importance of being healthy makes itself a permanent topic. Recently, people begin to ponder over a question: is it easier to maintain good health nowadays than it was in the past? As far as I am concerned, modern people are more likely to achieve a good health than people in the past. My reasons and examples are given below.
(主题句+说理论证+细节例子)Firstly, advanced medical technology makes it possible to control and cure diseases in an effective way. With the rapid development of science and technology come breakthroughs in medical science, which has been pushing medical treatment to a higher level. Scientists have found ultimate solutions to many diseases that used to be fatal, maintaining people’s health and extending people’s lifespan. For example, smallpox, an already-eradicated disease, was once a number-one killer engulfing tens of thousands of people’s lives. Thanks to the invention of a certain vaccine, people could put an end to this rampant disease.

Therefore, I decided to invest my knowledge and skills into creating valuable documents to help people find inspiration and direction when needed. 1Do People Embrace Studying Abroad More Readily These Days? These days, with social media connecting the entire world and budget airlines making travel more affordable, it seems likeeveryone is studying abroad. When I scroll through Instagram, I see my friends living it up in places like London, Tokyo, and Barcelona for a semester or even an entire degree program. It's becoming such a common experience that I sometimes wonder if it's still seen as this hugely brave and daring thing to do, or if studying overseas is just par for the course now.In my opinion, going abroad to study is definitely more mainstream and accepted than it used to be, at least by young people. Our generation has been raised in an increasingly globalized society. We're exposed to other cultures through media, food, and online interactions from a young age. Pursuing an international educational experience just seems like a natural extension of that multicultural upbringing.I have vivid memories of my parents' concerned faces when I told them I wanted to spend a year studying in Italy after high school. They're immigrants themselves, but leaving their home country was profoundly difficult - a last resort borne out of economic necessity rather than something exciting or enriching. For them, travel equaled risk, unfamiliarity, and hardship. The idea of me, their coddled only child, just casually relocating overseas for fun was utterly baffling to them. But for people my age, that sense of studying abroad being this extraordinarily audacious undertaking seems to be diminishing. Don't get me wrong, it's still a big commitment that requires independence, adaptability, and stepping outside of your comfort zone. However, the stigma or fear factor around it has faded quite a bit.Part of that increased acceptance is a reflection of changing societal values and norms. When our grandparents were young, the expectation was to get job training or a local education, then settle down close to home and start a traditional family life. Straying too far from that path was seen as reckless orself-indulgent. Nowadays though, we're encouraged to prioritize personal growth, new experiences, and finding fulfillment through non-traditional means. The definition of success has broadened beyond just getting married and climbing a corporate ladder. The prevalence of the internet and digital nomad movement has also helped normalize studying (and working) abroad. Thanks to video calling, messaging apps, and social media, it's easy to maintain relationships and stay connected with those back home. You're never truly isolated or detached from your usual networks. The pandemic forcing so many aspects of lifeonline further accelerated that comfort level with remote collaboration and virtual presence. From a practical standpoint, most universities now have extensive support systems and resources to assist international students. There are entire offices dedicated to counseling, visa procedures, housing assistance, social programming, etc. It's a whole streamlined operation to help integrate those studying abroad. The hurdles seem less daunting and mysterious than previous generations faced. It's also become a more expected and valuable credential on your resume. Multinational companies seek employees adept at cross-cultural communication and navigating diverse environments. That global skills set and mindset is a clear asset. Many undergraduate and post-graduate programs have even made an international component mandatory to graduate. You simply cannot be seen as a well-rounded, competitive candidate without having some form of overseas exposure.Looking at the financial angle, increasing wealth and economic mobility have helped too. Not everyone can afford the costs associated with international study, of course. But compared to the past, more families have the means to foot the bill for airfare, room and board, etc. There are also way morescholarship, loan, and financial aid opportunities available from private and public sources. An international education isn't automatically out of reach or wildly impractical for the average student anymore. All that said, I don't think the inherent value or significance of studying abroad has diminished at all. It's still an incredibly enriching, perspective-shifting experience that expands your world view and develops crucial life skills like independence, cross-cultural communication, language acquisition, etc. The academic benefits of being immersed in a different educational system, teaching philosophies, and environments are invaluable for intellectual growth. And at the end of the day, living and learning in another country still represents a huge leap out of your comfort zone that forces you to adapt in fun and challenging ways. The big difference now versus previous generations is simply that actually taking the leap doesn't seem quite as terribly monumental or fringeanymore. More people have the means, encouragement, and expected support systems to make it happen. It's becoming a pretty typical, mainstream rite of passage. So in summary, while the intrinsic rewards and transformative nature of studying overseas haven't changed, people's overall attitudes and openness towards it definitely have shifted. At least from a young person's perspective, the cons feel less extreme, the logistics seem less daunting, and the stated benefits are viewed as useful credentials rather thanself-indulgent frivolities. There's still a degree of audacity and adventure to it. But that cultural jadedness or visceral fear around such international endeavours seems to be fading, at least in contemporary Western societies.Whether that increasing nonchalance about studying abroad is ultimately a positive or negative trend, I can't say for certain. Part of me worries it could breed jadedness or cause young people to take such invaluable growth opportunities for granted. At the same time though, I'm glad the option feels more accessible and commonplace for those who yearn to expand their horizons. Food for thought!篇2Are People More Accepting of Education Today Than in the Past?Education has been a cornerstone of human civilization for thousands of years, dating back to ancient societies like Greece, Rome, and China. However, the accessibility and acceptance of education have varied greatly throughout history. As a student in the modern era, I often wonder whether people today are more receptive to education than their predecessors in previous eras.To begin, it's important to acknowledge the significant strides made in expanding educational opportunities over the past few centuries. In the past, education was largely a privilege reserved for the wealthy and elite classes. The masses, particularly those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, had limited access to formal schooling. This disparity was exacerbated by societal norms and beliefs that education was unnecessary or even undesirable for certain segments of the population, such as women and minority groups. However, the Enlightenment period of the 17th and 18th centuries ushered in a new era of intellectual curiosity and a growing appreciation for the value of education. Philosophers and thinkers like John Locke, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, and Mary Wollstonecraft advocated for universal education, challenging the notion that education should be exclusive to the privileged few.As societies progressed, educational reforms and compulsory schooling laws were gradually implemented in many countries, paving the way for greater accessibility to education. Nonetheless, resistance and skepticism towards education persisted, often rooted in cultural traditions, religious beliefs, or socioeconomic factors.Today, while significant progress has been made, barriers to education still exist in various forms. In some parts of the world, poverty, conflict, and gender discrimination continue to hinder access to educational opportunities. Even in developed nations, socioeconomic disparities, inadequate funding, and systemic biases can create obstacles for certain communities.Despite these challenges, I would argue that overall, people are more accepting of education today than in the past. This increased acceptance can be attributed to several key factors:Widespread recognition of education's transformative power: Education is widely acknowledged as a powerful tool for personal growth, social mobility, and economic development. Numerous studies have demonstrated the positive impact of education on individual well-being, employment prospects, and overall societal progress. This understanding has led to a greaterappreciation for education across diverse communities and cultures.Globalization and the knowledge-based economy: In today's interconnected world, the demand for skilled and educated workers has skyrocketed. As economies become increasingly knowledge-driven, education is viewed as a crucial asset for success in the job market and for fostering innovation. This economic imperative has incentivized individuals and governments to prioritize education.Emphasis on human rights and equality: The international community has placed a strong emphasis on promoting education as a fundamental human right. Organizations like UNESCO and various UN initiatives have championed the cause of universal access to education, particularly for marginalized groups such as girls and women. This global commitment has raised awareness and encouraged governments to invest in educational opportunities for all.Technological advancements and alternative learning pathways: The rise of digital technologies and online platforms has revolutionized the way education is delivered and accessed. From massive open online courses (MOOCs) to virtual classrooms, education is becoming more accessible and flexible, catering to diverse learners' needs and circumstances. These innovative approaches have broadened the reach of education and fostered a more inclusive learning environment.Increased awareness of the value of lifelong learning: In today's rapidly changing world, the concept of lifelong learning has gained significant traction. People recognize the importance of continuously updating their skills and knowledge to remain competitive and adaptable in the job market. This mindset has contributed to a greater appreciation for educational opportunities throughout one's life, beyond traditional formal education. However, it's important to note that despite this overall trend of increased acceptance, pockets of resistance and skepticism towards education still exist. These may stem from deeply rooted cultural beliefs, religious dogmas, or a lack of awareness about the benefits of education. Additionally, socioeconomic disparities and systemic barriers can hinder access to quality education for some segments of the population. As a student, I find it encouraging to witness the growing acceptance of education in today's society. However, there is still work to be done to ensure that educational opportunities aretruly equitable and accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status, gender, or cultural background. Continuous efforts are needed to address the remaining barriers and promote the transformative power of education on a global scale. In conclusion, while the journey towards universal acceptance of education has been long and arduous, I believe that we have made significant strides compared to the past. The widespread recognition of education's value, coupled with technological advancements and a global commitment to human rights, has contributed to this progress. However, we must remain vigilant in addressing the persistent challenges and ensuring that the pursuit of knowledge remains a fundamental right for all.篇3Are People More Accepting of Education Today Than in the Past?Education has been a cornerstone of human civilization for millennia, with societies around the world valuing the pursuit of knowledge and the transfer of wisdom from one generation to the next. However, the level of acceptance and prioritization of education has varied greatly across different eras and cultures. Inthis essay, I will explore whether people are indeed more accepting of education today than they were in the past, examining various factors that have influenced societal attitudes towards learning. To begin, it is essential to acknowledge that the concept of education itself has undergone significant transformations throughout history. In ancient times, education was often reserved for the privileged few, with the majority of the population engaged in manual labor or subsistence farming. Knowledge was passed down through oral traditions, apprenticeships, or within the confines of religious institutions. The Renaissance period, however, marked a pivotal shift in the perception of education, as humanist scholars emphasized the importance of classical learning and the liberal arts.As societies industrialized and urbanized, the demand for a more educated workforce grew, leading to the establishment of public education systems and the gradual democratization of knowledge. This trend accelerated in the 20th century, with the rise of compulsory education laws and the recognition of education as a fundamental human right by organizations such as the United Nations.Today, we live in an era where access to education is more widespread than ever before. According to UNESCO, the global literacy rate for youth aged 15-24 has risen from 83% in 1990 to 92% in 2018. This improvement can be attributed to concerted efforts by governments, non-governmental organizations, and international bodies to promote universal primary education and reduce gender disparities in access to learning opportunities. Moreover, the advent of technology and the internet has revolutionized the way we acquire and disseminate knowledge. Online learning platforms, massive open online courses (MOOCs), and virtual classrooms have made education accessible to individuals across the globe, transcending geographic and socioeconomic barriers. The proliferation of educational resources on the internet has democratized knowledge, allowing anyone with an internet connection to access a wealth of information on virtually any topic. However, it would be naive to assume that the acceptance of education is universal or that all barriers have been eliminated. Socioeconomic disparities, cultural norms, and systemic inequalities continue to impede access to quality education for many communities around the world. In some regions, deeply rooted cultural beliefs or traditional practices may prioritizeother aspects of life over formal education, particularly for certain gender or ethnic groups.Additionally, the rising cost of higher education in many countries has made it increasingly challenging for individuals from low-income backgrounds to pursue advanced degrees or specialized training. This financial barrier perpetuates cycles of intergenerational poverty and limits social mobility, undermining the fundamental principle of education as a great equalizer.Furthermore, the acceptance of education is not solely contingent upon access; it also depends on the perceived value and relevance of the knowledge and skills imparted. In an increasingly globalized and rapidly changing job market, concerns have been raised about the disconnect between traditional educational curricula and the competencies demanded by modern industries. Employers often lament the lack of practical, real-world skills among graduates, leading to calls for educational reforms that better align with workforce needs.Despite these challenges, I would argue that the overall acceptance of education has indeed increased compared to past eras. The widespread recognition of education as a fundamental human right, the expansion of educational opportunitiesthrough technology, and the growing emphasis on lifelong learning and skill development are all indicative of a societal shift towards valuing and prioritizing education. However, this acceptance is not uniform across all segments of society or geographical regions. Efforts must continue to address systemic barriers, cultural biases, and financial constraints that impede equal access to quality education. Furthermore, educational institutions must adapt and evolve to meet the changing demands of the modern world, fostering not only academic knowledge but also the critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills essential for success in the 21st century. In conclusion, while significant progress has been made in expanding access to education and promoting its acceptance as a societal priority, the journey towards truly universal and equitable educational opportunities is far from complete. It is incumbent upon governments, educational institutions, and global organizations to work collaboratively to dismantle remaining barriers and ensure that the transformative power of education reaches every corner of the world, empowering individuals and driving sustainable development for generations to come.。

It is easier to become educated today than it was in the past.

As is known to all, receiving education has always been the main way for us to acquire knowledge throughout the human civilization history. Recently there has been a hot debate whether education today is more accessible to the public than in the past. As far as I am concerned, there is no doubt that people nowadays have much easier access to education with the following reasons. To begin with, the advent of various high-tech products has enriched the ways and approaches to receive education. Obviously, with the introduction of advanced means of education, educational resources take on multiple forms such as distant education and online study, which make knowledge more accessible to us. However, in the past, the only way to get educated was to attend classess in traditional schools, which definitely increases the difficulty of gaining education. For example, in the process of making preparations for TOEFL test, I want to take class in Beijing New Oriental School. But I am an undergraduate student of a university far away from Beijing. Meanwhile, due to the academic pressure from my college study, it is impossible for me to take a month off and to have an intensive course in Beijing. Thanks to the online courses, I can take these classes in my college while handling the tasks and assignment from my field of study. The online courses make possible the in-time response to my questions and online submission of assignments.Secondly, since more and more importance is being attached to education, it is much easier and essential to get educated than in the past. Under the society full of intense competition, acquiring formal education has become the essenital precondition for anyone to make a living. As a result, the public awareness of receiving education ismuch stronger than before, leading to a common phenomenon that an increasing number of parents send their kids to study abroad. However, in the bygone days/in the old days, the requirement for a person was not as strict as it is today, with the result that less attention was paid to education. According to a survey conducted by the National Educational Department in China, the number of students who take the national college entrance examination has risen from 88.3% in 2008 to 92.5% in 2013. Meanwhile, another research shows that the literacy rate in China has increased by 23.6% in 2013 compared with 61.50% in 1993. The above data has shown that the number of educated people has gone through a dramatic rise, which indirectly indicates that education now is more available to the public.Admittedly, some areas in the world may be cited as an exception. For instance, people in the war-stricken areas including Iraq and Syria do not have easier access to education and some of them are even on the verge of starvation. In these areas, the current educational situation is not better than that in the past. However, such cases only occupy such a tiny percentage of the global population that they can be neglected. In conclusion, I believe that it is much easier for the public to receive education than in the past with the aid of technology and theawakening sense of education.。

It is better for children to grow up in the countryside than in a big city. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to develop your essay. With the development of the transportation system and some residence institution, the world is getting smaller and smaller, and people are not restricted in only one area. In addition to the convenient condition, because there are different places with different cultures, living standards, education environment and other disparity, they are inclined to transfer from one place to the other. Is it better to move around than stay in one place? I believe there are no uniform answers, but in my opinion, I do agree with the claim that to move around is better than to stay in one place. Most people's growth comes with the transfers in their life. As for me, when I was young I lived in a small county. Because the school in there was not suitable to me, I transferred from my little county to a city to get a better education. As soon as I got to the city, I was amazed that the world here was so different here as my hometown .If I still lived in my hometown, it was impossible for me to make the wildest guessat what the real world looked like. The first transfer has made me to imagine my own life and spur on me to go further. With the confidence, I went into a university which I would never think of it before. The university is located in a different city so that I have to come into another world. Compared with my living city, the one is more complicated in which there are different people, more convenient transportation, more competitive environment. I love all of this very much. Communicating with different students and teachers, I have learned much from them which will benefit me throughout my life and my lifestyle. Now I am in a graduate school also so beautiful that I will never regret my selection of leaving my hometown because the transfer has given me a splendid life. Also, like we students, there are many adults transferring their work place in order to grasp better opportunities. No matter in industry,in agriculture or in service, workers have rights to choose their work companies which leads them to work from place to place and then they accumulate precious experience and skills to get priorities to others.People not only transfer in their own country, but also go abroad to get education, work or live through the rest of their life in appropriate countries. We can see that many students including me want to go to the foreign countries to study further and forge ourselves, and that many parents send their little sons or daughters to foreign countries to study. After all, diverse circumstances give persons new experience and broaden their narrow sight, even help them get more comprehensive understanding of the world, the society and our life itself. However, some people may say that if people move around, they will pay for much such as money, time and energy. It is right to say that it takes one person some time to get used to his or her new environment, new personal relationship which indeed influences the growth of children, the efficiency of our work and the stability of our society and family. And I have to admit that people should make considerate plans before changing their places and may not transfer aimlessly and frequently. But I think sometimes it is just all the friction that has made the world wealthier and more beautiful. Therefore, I still think it is better to travel around than to live in one place. There are advantages and disadvantages to a childhood in either the country or a city. It's hard to say which is better. Growing up in the country means a certain amount of isolation. You're in a small town or on a farm and not with a lot of people. Even more important, the people you meet every day tend to be just like you. Most will be the same race as you, have the same background as you, and will have gone to the same schools as you. In the city, the people you meet are all different. There are different races and different cultures. You get a more interesting mix.City people tend to come from a lot of different places and move around a lot. So, there isn't the sense of community in the city that you have in the country. People in the city can live in the same apartment building for twenty years and never get to know their neighbors. In thecountry, everybody knows everybody. For a child, this means the country is more secure. A child can get lost or hurt in the city and have no one to turn to. In the country, everyone's a neighbor. People in the country feel connected to each other.A child growing up in the city has the advantage of a lot of interesting and exciting places to visit. He or she can go to the zoo, museums, art galleries and concerts. There are a lot of restaurants with different kinds of food. It's easy to see every new movie that comes out. Children in the country don't have a lot of these activities nearby. All in all, I think a childhood in the city is better because it prepares you more for what real life is like.。

It is easier for parents to raise their children than 50 years ago参考范文:Taking a panoramic picture of human evolution, family education has been playing a very important role, especially in modern days. When it comes to the question of whether or not raising kids is easier than before. I, personally, think that parenting has becoming more and more difficult based on the following reasons.First off, with the advent of technological gadgets kids are now more susceptible to negative information on-line, making it tough for parents to monitor and guide their kids’ behavior and mindset. As we all know, with the appearance of smart phones, tablets and computer laptops, it is easier for people of all age groups, including adolescents and teenagers, to get access to all kinds of information. To be more specific, celebrities especially entertainers, like movies stars, sports giants and pop singers are such bad exemplars for kids since they are constantly involved in sex scandals, abusive use of drugs, random hookups, getting rehabilitation. Kids, who are in their formative years, are not immune to these negative influence. Therefore, it is becoming absolutely tough for parents to guide them and any negligence might lead to be catastrophic for the kid’s future development.Additionally, parents are so overwhelmed with their careerand they tend to be negligent about their kids. Kids, on the other hand, without guidance from their parents tend to have both psychological and physical problems. A recent study done by National Society of Developmental Psychology indicates that there is a posit ive correlation between the parents’ working time and the likelihood for kids to experience psychological and physical problems in their adolescence. Indeed, fathers and mothers are more stressful and inclined to work more hours than those who did a few decades ago, leaving them little time to hang out and caress their kids. To make matters worse, kids who might experience unparalleled peer pressure, bullying and other kinds of school cliché are not able to get appropriate and timely instruction and encouragement from their parents, increasing the risk of a series of developmental problems. For instance, they might get addicted to computer games, involve in early sex, and even have marijuana and drinking problems. In conclusion, due to the susceptibility of kids when exposed to negative information on-line or else and the parents’ lack of time spent with their kids, it is getting more difficult to raise kids now and kids are inclined to have both psychological and physical problems in their formative years. “大量(有益的东西)”,尤其是后面加抽象名词时… is a lifelong process 是持续一生的过程put… into practice 把……投入实践fulfill one’s potential 发挥某人的潜力from within… 来自内心深处remove the barrier for 为(发展、交流等)消除障碍be in tune with… 与…… 和谐keep pace with… 与……同步发展promote the development of… 促进……的.发展raise people’s awareness of… 提高人们的某种意识… has found one’s niche 找到了属于自己的一片天地be the cornerstone of… 是……的基石be an essential ingredient of… 实现并且保持某种状态be a positive alternative…

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is easier for parents to raise children today than it was 50 years ago. It is now easier for parents to raise children than it was fifty years ago because there are many more resources to help both the parents and the children succeed.Parents have a wider range of resources than they did fifty years ago, many of which are readily available on the internet. Parents can look up answers to questions any time during the day or night without having to leave their home. They don’t have to go to a special facility or wait for business hours. For example, a parent concerned about a child’s progress in math can look up statistics about other children the same age, read about how other parents dealt with math issues, or join a chat session to discuss the problem. Parents can remain anonymous when using many of these resources, which is appealing when asking personal or challenging questions. The internet also provides a vast array of resources for children. They can get tutoring help and practice lessons. They can even play fun games that teach valuable skills. If children are able to address their own weaknesses, it is easier for the parents. Parents fifty years ago had to sit and teach their children when the children had problems with homework assignments. If the parents were not familiar with the subject, they had to pay for aprivate tutor who could explain the material. By contrast, parents today can steer their children to educational websites that provide the answers in an interesting and interactive manner, freeing the parent to do other things.Final ly, today’s parents are fortunate because there is a greater awareness ofmedical educational barriers. For example, fifty years ago there was little understanding of attention deficit disorder or dyslexia. Modern research has identified such problems and is developing solutions. Parents in the past had to deal with “difficult children” without knowing that there was a biological cause. Now doctors can diagnose the problem and suggest ways to cope with it. As a result, parents today can adjust teaching metho ds rather than give up because the child doesn’t function as expected.Today there is a vast array of resources for parents and children that was not available fifty years ago. As a result, it is easier for parents to find the information they need to raise their children in a positive way.词句积累readily available 现成的a vast array of resources 大量的资源address their own weaknesses 解决他们的缺点steer X to Y 指引X去Yfree the parent to do other things 解放父母去做其他的事情medical educational barriers 医学教育障碍little understanding of X 对X了解很少diagnose the problem 诊断问题2019托福写作,我们要准备些什么?2019的新年钟声已经敲响了数月,所有的学校都已经开学。
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is difficult for a teacher to be both popular (well-liked)and effective in helping students in learning.
2.24Some first year college students have poor study habits. Some people believe that colleges should provide all of the first year students with a required study skill course to develop their good study habits. Other people believe that providing this kind of course is unnecessary. What is your opinion and why?
