Unit 1 What are they doing?

【学情分析】

The pupils of Grade 4 are so active that they like to do the actions. But

they can't master too many words imediately. In this unit, there are lots of

new words and phrases. So the teacher asked them to preview them. And

the teacher designed many activites to draw their attention.

【教学目标】

1. Knowledge aims

a. Master the words “kid, interesting, people, boat, men, between, drink,

clock, hungry”.(Because there are so many words in this unit, so I asked

the pupils to preview the new words.)

b. Know the phrases“do taijiquan, row a dragon boat, play chess, drink

soya milk”.

c.Ask and answer with”What are they doing? They are….”。

2. Ability aims

The students can communicate with each other.

3. Emotion aims

The students love to communicate with others.

They're doing taijiquan．他们正在打太极拳。

句型结构 问句：What are they doing?

答语：They are+动词-ing形式十其他．

重点解析 这个句子是一个现在进行时的特殊疑问句。

what意为“什么”，位于句首，引导特殊疑问句。

they是人称代词，意为“他们”。

are不翻译成“是”，它只是与doing 一起构成现在进行时，表达“正在……”。

要点提示 当人称代词是第三人称单数she，he，it时，be动词要用is。

生活实例 Niuniu和妈妈去公园，她们看见很多人在水池里。Niuniu想知道他们正在做什么：

2. look与Iook at

课文应用：Look at the people in the park. 看公园里的人们。

look与look at都有“看”的意思，但它们的用法不同。

Look，I have a new book. 看，我有一本新书。

look at是一个短语，后面可以接名词或代词，意思是看某人或某物。

总的来说，本单元知识体现出了承上启下的作用。

（1）本 Module 的主题是 “in the park”， 它延续 Module 3 Activities继续学习现在进行时态。主要讲述英国小朋友Amy和中国小朋友Daming在公园里，由于Amy不知道公园里的人们在做的活动，就围绕本课的重要目标语句“What are they doing?”与Daming进行问答。

（2）学生在前面一个模块已经学会了 “He’s

doing... 及She’s doing...” 的表达， 所以我在设计这一课时，以What’s he doing?引出本课的重要目标语句What

are they doing?以旧带新，让学生在复习中学习本课，同时，它对下一单元Module5Food的学习很有帮助，因为下一单元有很多内容牵涉到本单元的知识，如What is he doing?

What are you doing Mum?等

（3）本课功能和价值：

1）学习询问他人正在做什么事情。

2）描述他人正在做的事情。

学情分析

所在班级情况，学生特点分析。

我们学校是一所地处较为偏远的农村小学，学生学习英语的积极性不高，没有专业的英语教师，英语教学资源也较为缺乏，很多家长对学生学习英语不关心。本班有学生24人，学习积极性较高的为13人，8人为一般，3人学习积极性很低。这种情况，对我们的教学带来很多困难。我是上学期接的这个班，经过努力，取得了一定的成绩，今个学期，我还是教这个班，一定要克服各种困难，大幅度地提高学生的学习成绩。

一、教学目标

【知识目标】1. 准确认读food, drink, candy, fruit, meat, vegetable, apples, bean,

beef, carrot, chicken, chocolate, coffee, juice, milk, potato, tea,

tomato, water, kind, some, bad等新词，并理解意思。

3. 学会分辨可数名词与不可数名词。

【能力目标】1. 能掌握have got的用法。

2. 能听懂关于食物和饮料的对话，并学会如何讨论自己喜欢的食品和饮料。

3.学会购物的相关对话。

【情感目标】课堂上通过运用多媒体教学手段，设置较为真实的语境，联系学生的实际生活，让学生在语言实践中理解并应用对话，培养学生的互助学习能力。

二、教学重点

1. 认读食品相关单词food, drink, fruit, meat, vegetable, 并整理归类。

2. 掌握have got相关的肯定句，否定句，一般疑问句及其回答，并能准确使用have got的相关句型来讨论食品。

三、教学难点

分辩可数名词与不可数名词，可数名词转变为复数。
