2. 播放SB Unit 2活动1的动画或录音，请学生看动画或边听录音边看挂图。

教师引导学生理解语境：Darning无法凭肉眼看出大树有多高、多少岁，可是外星人却都能看出来。

3. 再次播放录音，请学生看图跟读，并学习“metre”的语义。

4. 请学生两人一组分角色朗读对话，然后请部分学生向全班展示。
