复习要点：
一．重点句型：
1. would like to do sth.的运用.
would like表示“想要”，是一种较委婉礼貌的说法，常用于以下几种句式：
<1>would like＋名词（或代词），意为“想要”。
<2>would like ＋to do，意为“想做……”。
<3>would like ＋名词（或代词）＋to do，表示“希望……做……”
<4>would like＋名词（或代词）＋形容词，意为“喜欢…… 呈……状”

2.辨析：through与across
二者都可译为“穿过”，但through是指从空间较狭窄的一头“穿”行到另一头，常指从事物（氛围）内部穿过，含义与in有关系。
across是指从一条线或某一事物的表面的一边到另一边，常可译为“横过”，“横穿”，含义与in无关.

3．辨析：hope与wish
<1> hope与wish后都可接动词不定式，但wish后还可接“sb. + to do sth. ”的结构，而hope则不可以。如果用hope表达主语希望别人做某事时，后面要接宾语从句。hope还可以与so，not用于简略回答中。
<2> hope表示“说话者以为想要做的事”，通过努力可以实现；而wish常表示“说话者要想做某事”，但不去想可能实现与否，或认为可能性不太大。另外，hope表示“未来可能的希望”，而wish表示“与事实相反的愿望”。

4. One of+最高级+名词复数意为 “最……的之一”
5.Unless 除非……,引导条件状语从句.比 “if…not”略微正式.
6.辨析：else 与other
else与other都可作形容词，表示“别的”，“其他的”，但用法却大不相同。else只用于修饰不定代词，疑问代词和疑问副词，并且必须要位于这些修饰词之后，作后置定语；而other用来修饰名词，其位置与else正好相反，它位于被修饰的名词之前。请注意体会比较下面各句： “Do you have anything else to say? ”“Nothing __________ . ”
“你还有别的什么要说的吗？”“没什么别的了。”

7.provide与 offer的用法：
<1>provide后面接宾语，宾语可由名词或代词充当。
<2>provide sth. for sb.＝provide sb.with sth.意思是“供给（某人）……”。
offer也是动词，意思是“提供……，建议”等。其主要用法如下：
<1>offer＋名词。
<2>offer sb. sth.＝offer sth. to sb.表示“对（某人）提供……”。
<3>offer + to do.
