Many students have enjoyed great pleasure and satisfaction from these games. But as we see, some students lacking self-discipline are too much indulged in these games so that their health and academic performances are affected. This phenomenon has caused much worry from the teachers and parents. However, some others argue that online games are not always harmful. They can train the ability of youngsters to respond to things quickly. Moreover, they can stimulate their imagination and their interest in computer science. More importantly, it does bring college students much pleasure and release their pressure greatly. From my point of view, online games are a wonderful entertainment if you play them in a clever way. When they interfere too much with your study, it is better for you to give them up atonce. But if you have enough self-control over them, you can certainly obtain real pleasure and benefit a lot from them.。

2023年3月公共英语三级作文真题全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Adventure at the ZooHi everyone! I want to tell you about my amazing adventure at the zoo last weekend. It was so much fun! Let me share the exciting things I saw and experienced.First, let me tell you about the animals. There were lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, and many more! I was in awe when I saw the lions. They were so big and majestic. The tigers were also very impressive with their beautiful stripes. I even got to see a baby elephant playing with its mom. It was adorable!Next, I visited the monkey enclosure. The monkeys were so mischievous and playful. They were swinging from branch to branch and making funny faces at us. I couldn't stop laughing! I also saw a gorilla, and it looked so strong and powerful. It was like something out of a movie! After that, I went to the bird section. There were colorful parrots, graceful swans, and even a wise-looking owl. I wasfascinated by their different sounds and feathers. I tried imitating the parrot's squawks, and it made everyone around me laugh. One of the best parts of the zoo was the reptile house. I saw snakes, lizards, and even a crocodile! They were all behind glass, so I felt safe. The snake was so long and slithery, and the crocodile had such a big mouth with sharp teeth. I was glad they couldn't get out!Besides the animals, there were also fun activities at the zoo.I went on a train ride that took us around the entire zoo. It was like a mini adventure! I also had the chance to feed some of the animals. I fed carrots to the rabbits and lettuce to the tortoises. They seemed really happy to have a snack.I also attended a special show where the trainers performed tricks with dolphins and sea lions. The dolphins were so smart, and they could do flips in the air. The sea lions were also very talented and made everyone clap and cheer. It was a fantastic show!Lastly, I want to mention the beautiful gardens in the zoo. There were colorful flowers everywhere, and the air smelled so fresh. I took lots of pictures with the flowers as a backdrop. It was like being in a fairy tale!In conclusion, my trip to the zoo was an incredible adventure.I saw so many amazing animals, enjoyed fun activities, and experienced the beauty of nature. It was a day I will never forget.I can't wait to go back to the zoo and have another fantastic adventure!Remember, it's important to respect and care for animals and their habitats. They are a precious part of our world. Let's all do our part to protect them! That's all for now. Thank you for reading about my zoo adventure. See you next time!Yours,[Your Name]篇2My Best Friend FluffyHi there! My name is Jenny and I'm 8 years old. I go to Oakwood Elementary School and I'm in 3rd grade. My teacher Mrs. Robinson asked us to write about our best friend for our essay on the big test. Well, my very best friend in the whole wide world is my dog Fluffy!Fluffy is the most adorable, cutest, fluffiest golden retriever puppy you've ever seen. She has bright golden fur that is so soft and cuddly. Her fur feels like the softest stuffed animal you can imagine. And she has the biggest, happiest brown eyes that always look so friendly and excited to see me. Whenever I get home from school, Fluffy comes running up, wagging her tail like crazy and giving me doggy kisses all over my face. It's the best way to get cheered up after a long day!I got Fluffy for my 7th birthday last year. I had been begging my parents for a puppy for years and they finally gave in. When I opened the box and saw that tiny furry face peeking out, I was so happy I thought my heart would burst! From that day on, Fluffy has been my best friend and loyal companion. We do everything together. In the mornings, Fluffy licks my face to wake me up. It's like she's saying "Time to start the day, let's go!" Then I take her outside to go potty and we run around chasing squirrels in the backyard. Fluffy gets so excited chasing them up the trees, but don't worry, she's never caught one. When I get home after school, Fluffy is waiting for me, jumping up and down with her tail going crazy. We head out to the backyard again to play fetch and I throw her favorite tennis ball as far as I can. She sprints to catch it and brings it right back, ready for me to throw again. Sometimes I get tired before she does!In the evenings, Fluffy snuggles with me on the couch while I watch TV or read books. Her favorite is when I read out loud so she can hear my voice. Sometimes she'll put her head on my lap and I'll gently pet her soft fur until she falls asleep. She always looks so peaceful and happy. On weekends, my parents take Fluffy and me to the dog park. Fluffy goes wild running around chasing the other dogs and smelling all the new smells. I'll throw her ball or frisbee and she goes zooming after it at top speed. She makes a lot of friends because she's so friendly and playful. All the other owners always comment on what a sweet, well-behaved dog she is. That makes me so proud of my Fluffy! The only downside is that since Fluffy is still a puppy, she sometimes has accidents in the house or chews on things she shouldn't. Like the time she decided to make confetti out of the living room rug. Or when she ate my mom's favorite pair of sneakers. Whoops! But I can't stay mad at that furry little face.Fluffy takes really good care of me too, not just the other way around. Whenever I'm feeling sad or left out, she's always right there to cheer me up with cuddles and kisses. If I have a baddream, I wake up to her furry face looking at me with concern. Then she snuggles up and licks me until I feel better. She's definitely a member of our family.Sometimes I talk to Fluffy about things that are bothering me, just to get it off my chest. And even though she can't talk back, she's such a good listener. She'll just look at me with those big understanding eyes and let me ramble. Having someone to talk to always helps me feel better, even if they can't give me advice. My friends all love Fluffy too. They're always begging me to bring her over so we can play at the park together. Fluffy goes crazy chasing us around and we take turns throwing her ball. But the best is when we're just hanging out, maybe watching a movie, and Fluffy climbs into our lap for cuddles and belly rubs. She makes any hangout infinitely better.I try to be a really good dog mom to Fluffy too. I make sure her bowls always have fresh food and water. When my parents aren't around, I let her out to go potty and give her treats for being a good girl. I take her on walks around the neighborhood and to the park to run around. And I give her a bath every couple weeks with her favorite oatmeal puppy shampoo. One of my favorite activities is training Fluffy to do cool tricks. So far she can sit, stay, shake, roll over, and catch treats. We're working on playing dead and hopefully soon I can teach her to close doors or bring me things. We train with her favorite treats as rewards. It's so amazing to see how quickly she learns!I honestly篇3My Best FriendHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. Today, I'm going to tell you all about my best friend in the whole wide world - Lily!Lily and I met on the very first day of kindergarten. We were both really shy and didn't know anybody. But then during snack time, I noticed Lily had the same Paw Patrol lunchbox as me! I got super excited and went over to show her. That's when we became best friends forever.Over the years, Lily and I have done so many fun things together. We always pick each other as partners for class projects and activities. One of my favorite memories is when we worked on a big diorama about the rainforest for our science fair in 3rdgrade. We spent weeks making all the trees and animals out of popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, and papier-mâché. Our diorama even had a little waterfall that actually trickled down! It won first prize and we were jumping up and down with joy.Lily is really good at art and comes up with the most creative ideas for our projects. I'm better at the writing and research parts. That's why we make such a great team! We just seem to balance each other out perfectly.Sleepovers are definitely one of the highlights of our friendship. We'll spend the whole night watching movies, braiding each other's hair, trading secrets, and making ridiculous TikTok videos. The laughing never stops when we're together! My mom always says she can hear our shrieks of glee from down the hall.I'll never forget the time last summer when Lily spent two weeks at camp while I was stuck at home. I missed her so incredibly much. We would FaceTime every single day just to catch up on the latest happenings in our lives. Thank goodness for modern technology helping us stay connected as besties!Even though we get along amazingly, we've had our share of disagreements over the years too. Once, we got into a huge fight on the playground because I accidentally knocked over Lily'sbottle of bubbles. I felt just awful and cried buckets of tears. Lily was really mad at first, but then she came over and gave me a big hug after seeing how upset I was. That's what's so special about her - she may get mad sometimes, but she always forgives me in the end.Another thing I love about Lily is how kind and caring she is towards others. Whenever there's a new kid at school feeling left out, Lily goes out of her way to make them feel welcome. She'll invite them to sit with us at lunch or play jump rope during recess. Lily just has such a big heart!I know I'm rambling on a bit, but I could honestly go on forever about why Lily is the most wonderful best friend ever. She's hilarious, creative, forgiving, kind, and more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Whenever I'm feeling sad or upset about something, Lily always knows just how to cheer me up. I feel so lucky that she's been by my side since we were little tikes.Lily, if you're reading this, I just want you to know - you're the peanut butter to my jelly! I'll always be grateful for the amazing adventures we've shared over the years. No matter where life takes us, I know our friendship will last forever and ever. Best friends for life!Well, thanks for letting me gush about my BFF. I don't know what I'd do without her. Lily really does make my whole world a brighter, happier place. That's why whenever anyone asks me about my best friend, I never run out of nice things to say!The end!篇4My Awesome School YearHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I just finished 4th grade and I want to tell you all about my awesome school year. It was the best year ever!First of all, I had the most fun teacher, Mrs. Jackson. She always makes learning really exciting and interesting. Like when we were studying fractions in math class, she had us make our own pizzas with different toppings to represent the fractions. We got to eat the fractions we made, yum! Mrs. Jackson also takes us outside a lot for science class to observe nature. We went on nature walks, dug in the garden, and even had a class pet caterpillar that turned into a beautiful butterfly. So cool!Another thing that made this year great was my new best friend Sophia. She just moved here from France and didn't knowany English at first. I helped her learn and we became super close. Having a friend from another country is awesome - I got to learn all about her culture too. Her mom makes the most delicious croissants and crepes. Yummy! Sophia taught me some French words and we would write secret notes to each other in French during class. Just kidding, we didn't do that too much or we would get in trouble! Our class took the best field trips this year too. In the fall, we went to an applepicking orchard and made homemade applesauce. We learned all about how apples grow and got to see the whole process. My favorite part was eating the freshly baked apple cider donuts - I must have had 4 or 5 of them! In the spring, we went to a science museum and got to do all kinds of cool experiments. I loved the electricity ball where I could make my hair stand straight up. We also saw an amazing planetarium show about the solar system. I decided I either want to be an astronaut or work at a donut shop when I grow up after that trip!Probably the highlight of the year was our class play of The Lion King. I got to play the part of Young Simba! I had to memorize so many lines but it was worth it. On opening night, I was sooo nervous with my mom, dad, and little brother in the audience. But once I got on stage, I wasn't scared anymore. I puteverything into my performance and even did Simba's iconic roar scene. When I roared, the whole audience cracked up laughing. My dad said I was just like a real lion! After the play, all my family and friends gave me flowers and told me what a great job I did. I felt like a famous actor that night.Overall, it really was an awesome year at school between the best teacher, making a new friend, going on fun trips, and starring in the play. My only regret is that I don't get to be in Mrs. Jackson's class anymore since I'm moving up to 5th grade. But I'm definitely looking forward to another great year full of learning and new experiences. This was just the beginning of my journey! Who knows what adventures and opportunities await me next in school? I can't wait to find out!篇5My Big Adventure to the Science MuseumHi everyone! Today I'm going to tell you all about the super fun and exciting field trip our class took to the science museum last week. I've been looking forward to this trip for weeks and weeks!First thing in the morning, we all met up at the front of our school. There were four gigantic yellow school buses waiting totake us. I was one of the first kids there so I got to pick my seat near the front. My best friend Emma sat right behind me. While we waited for everyone else to arrive, we played I Spy and tried to find different colored cars driving by. Emma's really good at that game!Eventually, all the kids were there with their permission slips and bagged lunches. Mrs. Thompson, our teacher, got on the bus and used the microphone thingy to remind us of the rules. "No excessive shouting, stay with your buddy, listen to the museum guides, and have fun!" She seemed really excited too.The bus ride took forever because there was a lot of traffic. But we made it there safely in the end. The science museum was this massive building right in the heart of downtown. It had huge windows and a giant spinning globe sculpture out front. So cool!As soon as we went inside, my jaw just dropped. The lobby was incredibly tall with skyscraper ceilings. There were dazzling lights and colorful displays everywhere you looked. Emma and I stuck together like glue just like Mrs. Thompson said. Our first exhibition was the nature zone. It had tons of taxidermy animals like bears, deer, moose, and wolves. They looked so real and lifelike. There were also tons of plants, fossils, gems, and nature artifacts. One part showed the entire life cycleof a butterfly in dazzling detail. My favorite was the fish tank filled with piranhas! Their razor sharp teeth were terrifying but awesome.Next up was the physics playground. This place was packed with super fun hands-on activities and experiments. Emma and I spent ages playing with this one machine where you pumped air through a vacuum tunnel to make a beach ball hover in mid-air. We also got to build our own race cars out of K'nex and race them down a huge ramp. Mine went totally turbo speed! The highlight though was definitely the virtual reality immersion gallery. We got to put on these really cool VR goggles and headphones. Then we were transported to the depths of the ocean, soaring in outer space, and even the molten core of an active volcano. It felt like we were actually there in 3D! The lava world was blazing hot. During the space level, meteors came whizzing past my face. I dodged them just in time. What an adrenaline rush! After so much mind-blowing exploration, I worked up a huge appetite. We all took our bag lunches to the museum cafeteria for a picnic. I had a bologna sandwich, an apple, some carrots, and a chocolate chip cookie. The food tasted much better than the boring old stuff in our school's lunchroom. With re-energized bellies, it was time for more discovery. The next place we visited was the simple machines area. It was full of levers, pulleys, gears, and more. We learned how basic tools help make work easier by increasing force or changing direction. One pulley system let me lift my friend Jacob who weighs a ton! He just laughed at me struggling. Our group's final stop was the grossology exhibit. Despite the icky name, this ended up being one of my favorites. It was all about the human body and bodily functions. We got to see gigantic models of things like noses, skin, and even poop! There were these hilarious animated videos explaining why we burp, vomit, and passing gas. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my whole life. Definitely brought some potty humor to the museum! After what felt like a total whirlwind of a day, it was finally time to go home. I didn't want to leave! We loaded back onto the buses with heads spinning from awe and exhaustion. I couldn't wait to tell my parents all about the incredible sights at the science museum.About halfway through the bus ride home, I must have blacked out from tiredness. I woke up to Emma poking me."Wake up dummy, we're back at school!" I sluggishly collected my backpack and lunchbox. What an篇6My Most Exciting School TripHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 8 years old. I just had the most amazing school trip ever and I can't wait to tell you all about it!A few weeks ago, my teacher Mrs. Thompson told our class that we were going to go on a really cool field trip. She wouldn't tell us where we were going though, she just said it was going to be a big surprise. That made me and all my friends super curious and excited to find out!The day of the trip finally came and we all got on the big yellow school bus bright and early. I made sure to get a seat next to my best friend Sophia so we could chat and look out the window together. After about an hour of driving, the bus pulled up to this huge building that looked almost like a castle! I had never seen anything like it before.Mrs. Thompson told us we were at a science museum and we would get to see all kinds of cool exhibits and even do someexperiments ourselves. My jaw just dropped - a whole museum all about science? This was going to be the best day ever! The first room we went into had these gigantic dinosaur skeletons set up. I felt so tiny standing underneath the long necks and massive jaws of those prehistoric giants. There were interactive displays that let you learn all about how dinosaurs lived and hunted millions of years ago. So fascinating!Next up was the space section, which was my personal favorite. They had real rockets and spacesuits on display that actual astronauts had worn! I got to try on a spacesuit helmet and learned what it's like for astronauts to live and work in zero gravity. I even got to experience what a rocket launch feels like in this crazy simulation ride. It was equal parts terrifying and thrilling! After space, we headed to an area all about the human body. This one was really neat because they had a bunch of model skeletons and organs that you could actually walk through and explore from the inside out. Seeing a huge eyeball or climbing up into a model brain seems so weird, but it helped me understand my own body in a totally new way.The rest of the museum had exhibits on things like weather, electricity, plants, animals, you name it. Each section seemedcooler than the last with its own unique hands-on activities to try. We got to build machines, conduct experiments, even touch a real meteorite! At the end of the day, we were all completely worn out but on a total science high. I had learned so much new information and got to interact with science in a way I had never experienced before in a classroom. Textbooks and lectures are fine, but there's nothing quite like being able to touch, see and truly experience science up close and personal. On the bus ride back to school, my brain was just buzzing with all the incredible things I had witnessed that day. I couldn't wait to tell my parents everything and keep learning more about all the fascinating fields we had glimpsed at the museum. Maybe I'll even become a scientist myself one day!Mrs. Thompson promised that we would take more field trips soon to places like art museums, historical sites, and maybe even a trip to her family's farm to learn about agriculture. After how awesome and engaging the science museum was, I'm counting down the days until our next adventure. Who knew learning could be this thrilling? If you ever have a chance to go to a museum like that, you simply have to go. It will open your eyes to the astounding worldaround you in a way no classroom can. I'm so grateful my school gave me the opportunity to experience it. Even though I'm just a kid, days like this make me feel like I can do anything I set my mind to. The world is an endlessly fascinating place just waiting to be explored!。

Sure,Hiroko,58, is worried about her husband' s high blood pressure, while Nisaburo,60, promises his wife that if she loses 18 pounds they' 11 take a trip abroad. What makes the Ohatas different is how they met, through a matchmaking organization for single seniors. " On the second date, he asked if I wanted to meet his family," says Hiroko. "I took that as a proposal. " A little rushed, perhaps, but 17years after his wife' s death, Nisaburo knew he' d found a new wife. The couple just celebrated four years of marital happiness last month. In the past, people like Nisaburo and Hiroko might have chosen to live out their lives alone. But as Japan' s society ages, attitudes about love and remarriage late in life are changing. In 2006,according to government data, three times more men and nearly five times more women in their 60sand 70s married for at least the second time, compared with 20 years before. Granted, change is slow. For this silver-haired population, the concept of "dating" is still masked by the term ocha nomi tomodachi (friends having tea together). And older people often need help meeting prospective mates. That' s where specialized matchmaking services such as Ai Senior--" Love Senior"--come in. When Shunichi lkeda started the online service three years ago, he was surprised by how many visits he was getting from people in their 60s. Ikeda says that his clients have an "American perspective" about the dating scene. And their children are often very supportive, sometimes being the ones to register parents. "More older people are realizing that life is supposed to be enjoyable--not lonely," says Ikeda. About 17% of the matchmaking clients in Japan are over 50 years old, according to Ai Senior, and seniors' market share has more than doubled over the past three years. "For older, single men, even doing laundry or cooking is difficult," says Ikeda. "They want to live with a woman. Likewise, it can be boring for women living alone. They want to provide for someone. " 46. According to the writer, the Ohatas are different from most senior Japanese couples in that______ [A] they remarried with the help of an agency[B] they decided to marry on the second date[C] the husband suffers from a health problem[D] the wife is concerned about losing weight 47. As is implied in the text, Nisaburo' s proposal on the second date might be considered______ [A] typical of single seniors [B] irresponsible to his family [C] a surprise to the woman [D] a decision made in haste 48. In Japan, the change in attitudes about remarriage results from an increase in [A] its population [B] single women______ [C] senior people [D] the divorced 49. According to Ai Senior, the matchmaking clients in Japan______ [A] admire the American lifestyle [B] are mostly under 50 years of age [C] share a vague term for "dating" [D] doubled over the past three years 50. According to Ikeda, more single seniors remarry in order to______ [A] live a longer life [B] solve financial problems [ C ] make their life enjoyable [ D ] support their children together Text 2 When you become a parent, much of your focus shifts from your own future to your kids' future. But one of the most effective ways to help your children learn to dream big is to ensure that your own dreams don' t get pushed aside by everyday demands. Our everyday experiences provide learning opportunities. When you tap into them, you create a lifelong learning habit that will always keep you growing. Even your most disappointing experiences can be turned into breakthroughs. Every dream begins in the imagination. Take a few minutes to sit down with a notebook and think about where you would like to be in 20 years. Write down details about all aspects of your ideal life. Feel free to imagine. Don' t worry about whether you know how to get there now—you have 20 years to figure that out. You can also start by picking a year in the future and making a collection of things you' d like in your life by then. Check in on it from time to time to see where you've made progress. We're often encouraged to work on our weaknesses, but working on your strengths is easier and creates better results. For help of identifying them, ask some friends, or colleagues to write down what they most appreciate about you. They' ll enjoy doing this, and you' 11 feel great when you read the responses. Once you know your strengths, you can put them to work to help you achieve your dreams. Confidence is the foundation for all your other abilities. "Progress, notperfection" is a great saying to keep your confidence high. Every night, write down five achievements that happened that day. Big or small, it doesn' t matter. If proper, add ideas for further progress and actions you can take to get started. Find ways to add what you love to do to your life now. This will give you more energy and keep you connected with your bigger dreams. Making a list of old hobbies is a great way to restore your old passions. Things you' re enthusiastic about come with their own store of energy. Connecting with them can give you a push when you most need it. 51. In order to help your children to dream big you must______ [ A] fulfill everyday tasks [ B ] build your own career [C] keep your own dreams [ D] make them look ahead 52. The writer suggests that, to begin your big dream, you should______ [A] stretch your imagination [ B ] have a best-laid plan for 20 years [ C ] recollect all your likes and dislikes [D] engage yourself in lifelong learning 53. According to the writer, to achieve our dreams, we should______ [ A] work on our strengths [ B ] develop our creativity [ C ] identify our weaknesses [ D ] seek advice from friends 54. To keep high confidence, it is important for one to______ [ A ] take appropriate actions [ B ] notice his daily progress [ C ] try his best in everything [ D ] form new ideas every day 55. The writer thinks that one can hold fast to his dream by______ [ A ] listing the details of his ideal life [B] improving some of his old hobbies[C ] adding new ideas to his old dreams [ D ] energizing himself with old passions答案 第一部分听力(略) 第二部分英语知识运用 参考译文 如今,美国家庭对于电视基本上存在着两种对立的态度。

The concept of lifelong learning recognizes that individuals need to continuously adapt and acquire new skills and knowledge throughout their lives. Education systems must foster a culture of lifelong learning, providing opportunities for individuals to pursue further education, training, and professional development.Education for Citizenship and Global Responsibility. In an increasingly interconnected world, education has a vital role to play in培养 responsible and engagedcitizens who understand their role in society and the global community. Education must promote inclusivity, tolerance, and respect for diversity. But, like all humans, you have an almost infinite capacity to adapt to life's changes and a great ability to bounce back from trying times. This understanding should give you a spark of hope when you're in a season of despair; it should also build up your confidence for taking risks in the future.
Sally, our lives are made up of several peaks and several valleys. That's the nature of life. Live each moment as it comes. And always remember “This, too, shall pass away.”
Love,

Hello, everyone. I just came back from a seven-day trip to Paris. Al- though it is a beautiful city, the bad experiences happened there made me feel unhappy and depressed. During the first three days, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery in Paris. However, on the fourth day, when we were taking the subway, a black man suddenly rushed up to the girl sitting next to me, taking her phone and running away in the blink of an eye. It was said that Paris had bad public security. So, if you plan to visit Paris. Be aware of taking care of your valuables. And you'd better come there with your family or friends.

Sally's father wrote her a letter. In the letter, firstly, he congratulated her on her success in the dance performance last week. Secondly, her father shared a quote with her: This, too, shall pass away.
In truth, this sentence can be applied to many situations. When we are in a successful moment in life, just like Sally, we have to remember that we cannot always be successful. This moment shall quickly pass away. If you want a continued success, we should do more. When we face difficulties, we also need to know that we have infinite capacity to adapt to life's changes.
Whether in happiness or in misery, we should keep in mind that: this too, shall pass away.
