通过对本单元的学习,学生能够对动物的性格及自己对动物的喜好的原因进行交流表达,并能够熟练运用“why—because”句型来询问他人的爱好,解释原因。
通过对动物的描述,让学生从从潜意识意识到动物的重要性,让学生自觉的爱护动物,保护动物,进而激发学生对大自然的保护意识,有利于帮助学生树立环保意识,增强环保观念。
【学情分析】我校地处城乡结合部,班级学生是以中等生为主的七年级新生,他们学习英语有很大的学习兴趣,有较强的记忆力和模仿能力,并有较强的求知欲和表现欲,因此课堂教学中我尽量让他们参与到活动中来,让他们有更多的机会来说英语用英语。
通过小组合作学习,体验自主学习的成功和喜悦。
【学习目标】1.知识与技能:A. 能掌握单词friendly shy及句型What animals do you like? I like elephants.B. 让学生学会谈论简单的动物及名称以及对动物的喜欢并说明为什么喜欢动物。
2.过程与方法:充分利用教材和多媒体教学所提供的学习资源,实现自由参与和创新,能主动与他人交流,在鼓励性评价中树立信心,在小组活动中积极参与合作,从而意识到交流对于学习英语的重要意义。
3.情感态度与价值观:通过本课学习,使学生有兴趣听说英语、做游戏,敢于开口,乐于模仿,恰当使用英语谈论简单的动物及名称以及对动物的喜欢并说明为什么喜欢动物,激发学生学习英语兴趣和保护环境的意识。

Warming up:
1. Free talk: Do you like animals?What’s your favorite animal?
2.“Sharp eyes (快闪单词)”:dog,monkey, bear, sheep, cow, horse, bird, rabbit. 设计意图:通过“Sharp eyes (快闪单词)”来复习学过的动物单词,巩固旧知,通过教师询问:Where can we see more animals? 引出本节课我设计的情景主题:“Let’s go to the zoo,but we don’t have any tickets. If you want to enter the zoo, please finish three tasks, then you can get the tickets”. 有了这个情景主题,学生会更加有兴趣去学习新的知识,也为新课的开展营造了生动有趣的氛围。
Presentation:
1.Task1:根据提示语猜出动物名称并尝试用简单的描述语来描述该动物的特点;
设计意图:通过一些描述动物特点的句子让学生来猜出这个动物单词,能够吸引学生的注意力,调动他们的学习积极性。
2.Task2:听1b内容,完成1b并回答以下3个问题:(1).What’s the girl’s favorite animal? Why? (2).What animal does the boy want to see? Why? (3).What animal
does the girl want to see now? Why?
设计意图:通过此环节提高学生的听力理解能力,并让学生知道Because是用
来陈述原因、理由,用于回答why引导的特殊疑问句。
3.Task3:看图,与同桌用英语询问和回答:What animals do you like? Why? What animals don’t you like? Why?
设计意图:此环节让学生用刚才所学的动物单词和描述动物特点的单词,用“why”和“because”进行对话,培养他们的英语交际能力。
学生通过努力完成了三项任务,获得动物园门票进园参观,为接下来的对话学习做铺垫。
4.Pair work:
Ask the students to imagine“We are in the zoo, there are many kinds of animals here.”Then ask a student to do the model. At last, ask someone to share their conversations.

设计意图:此环节通过让学生设想自己身处动物园时,跟同伴说出自己想要看什么动物及其原因,让学生充分发挥想象,提高他们的语言表达能力。

设计意图:由教师自述的一段话再加上图表,让学生理解really, very, kind of 这些程度副词的关系,并学会运用。
kind of 单独用,表示“有点”,后接形容词:He is kind of thin.他有点瘦。
I feel kind of hungry. 我有点饿”。
若kind of前有a, this, that等,译为“一种,这种,那种”后加名词。
kinds of 表示种类,各种各样的All kinds of fruits are healthy.
6. T: From your talk, I know most of you love pandas, do you know where pandas are from? 引出“China”, 由“Where are koalas from?”引出“Australia”由“Where are giraffes from”引出“Africa”由“Where are lions from”引出“South Africa”,并学习新词:“Australia, Africa, South Africa”并掌握两个提问产地的同义句。
“Where are they from?”=“Where do they come from?”“They’re from Africa.”=“They come from Africa.”
设计意图:通过句型“Where are they from?”“They’re from Africa.”了解并掌握各种动物的产地,拓展知识,为接下来2a的学习做铺垫。
7. Work on 2a: Listen to the conversation carefully. Then write the names of animals
you hear. Listen again and match each animal with the description words and a country.
8.Work on 2b: Listen again and complete the conversation with the words in 2a.
设计意图:通过上面第5、6环节的学习,学生已经掌握了动物的产地及描述动物的用语,第7、8两个环节其实是对上面两个环节的复习和巩固,考察学生的听力能力和对知识的运用能力,起到升华的作用。
9. Work on 2c: Talk about the over two animals in 2a with a partner.
设计意图:此环节是对这一节课所学句型进行总体运用的一个过程,考察学生是否能掌握本节课所学内容,大大锻炼学生的英语口语表达能力和交际能力。

让学生围绕这个主题,完成三关的任务才能领取到动物园的入场券。
任务一:通过一些描述动物特点的句子让学生来猜出这个动物单词;任务二:通过听1b 的听力内容,回答3个问题,训练学生的听力理解能力,并让学生知道Because是用来陈述原因、理由,用于回答why引导的特殊疑问句;任务三:让学生用刚才所学的动物单词和描述动物特点的单词,用“why”和“because”
进行对话,培养他们的英语交际能力。
大大提高学生的学习积极性。
通过对话层层递进,拓展并掌握句型:“Where are pandas from?”“They are from China.”来学习动物的产地。
有了这个情景主题,学生会更加有兴趣去学习新的知识,也为新课的开展营造了生动有趣的氛围。
本节课以学生为主体,通过小组对话、同桌对话等形式让学生掌握本节课的教学目标,也锻炼了他们的英语口语能力和交际能力。
当然,也有不足之处:句型操练的时间过多,以致于拖堂了,在时间的把控上这节课处理的不够细致。
在课程结束前可以让学生根据板书的表格上的单词进行混搭造句,这样可以起到总结和巩固的作用。
