《义务教育英语课程标准（2022年版）》提出了“学思结合、用创为本的英语学习活动观”这一课程理念，本节课活动设计以“学习活动观”为指导，通过学习理解类活动、应用实践类活动、迁移创新类活动，促进学生对主题的认识由浅入深，思维品质得到循序渐进的发展，

体现了对学生语言和思维协同发展的关注，育人目标在课堂教学中得到有效落实。

一、教材分析

本单元教学材料选自上海版牛津英语8AM3U7 Nobody wins (II) ，单元主题为“科幻小说”，属于新课标中“人与社会”主题范畴中“文学、艺术与体育”这一主题群，与8AM3U6 Nobody wins (I) 相互关联，本课教学内容为第一课时的阅读文本Escaping from Gork，是第六单元第一

课时阅读文本Caught by Gork的续篇，小说以Captain King带领全体机组人员逃离Gork为主线，刻画了Captain King遇事沉着冷静、英勇果

敢、足智多谋的品质。

二、语篇研读

What: 本课语篇是上一单元科幻小说Caught by Gork的续篇，主要讲述了Captain King和机组人员如何成功逃离Gork并返回地球的经历：

Captain King用放在塑料盒中的激光手电筒熔化牢笼的钢条，并用激光手电筒击中了Gork的独眼。随后，通过Captain King设计的一个

“nobody文字游戏”让kangaroos产生误解。在最后的逃离过程中，Captain King选择让全体机组人员钻进袋鼠口袋的方式躲开了Gork的最后围堵，成功逃离外星球并返回地球。

1. Peters, our navigator, was lost again . We were running out of food，so towards evening, we

landed on an unexplored planet. Lam，our pilot, brought us down gently in a valley close to a great

cliff of smooth，black rock. In the cliff there were doors-of two storeys high！

All twelve of us left the ship and approached the doors carefully. One was a little open. We

went through it into a huge cave. The furniture inside was earth-type，but huge！You could play

tennis on the bed and have a bath in the bowl on the bedside table.
