Step 1:设疑自探

T: Good morning, everyone.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Zhang.

T: I’ll ask some students to make a dialogue with me. What’s your name?

S1: I’m Li Shuai.

T: Nice to meet you.

S1: Nice to meet you, too.

T: Now let’s sing a song of the “ABC”.

T: I’m Miss Zhang. I’m twenty-nine. How old are you? Today, we’ll learn Lesson 5 How old

are you? Look through the dialogue and try to ask some questions: 1、 what’s the meaning of

‘how old are you?”

2、Are you five?如何回答?

Step2、解疑合探

3) Firstly, let’s learn the new words. Show the new words on some cards.(how, old, five,

one, nine, ten) then discuss the questions in paris ,then in class.

4) Let’s listen to the tape, pay attention to the tune and pronunciation.

5) Read after the tape.

6) Practise in pairs, after that I’ll ask some students to act it out.

Step 3: 质疑再探

Do you have any more questions? If they have more ,discuss together and solve them.

Step 4: 运用拓展

1.Act out the dialogue in front of the class.

2.Do some exercises.
