默认情况下帧中继网络是无法运行OSPF协议的，为什么？【原因】：帧中继（fram-relay）网络属于非广播型多路访问，而OSPF协议规定路由器之间的Hello包是通过组播来传输（组播也属于非广播类型）因此帧中继上默认情况是无法运行OSPF协议的。

下面有4种解决方法：•方法一，手工设置ospf网络类型为广播型，在指定fram-relay map时设置为broadcast（Fram-relay 广播）•方法二，默认非广播类型，使用neighbor手工指定邻居，并且手工指定DR为中心路由器（fram-relay非广播）•方法三，手工设置OSPF网络类型为：点到多点型广播型，在指定fram-relay map时设置为broadcast（fram-relay 点对多点广播）•方法四：手工设置OSPF网络类型为：点到多点非广播，使用neighbor 手工指定邻居（fram-relay 点对多点非广播）再看解决方法之前，先理解以下内容1.OSPF中的“neighbor” 可以手动指定邻居路由器的IP地址，使得它不用组播也能和邻居交换路由信息。

OSPF协议原理及配置详解OSPF（Open Shortest Path First）是一种用于计算机网络中的内部网关协议（IGP），用于在大型网络中动态确定数据包的传输路径。

其算法基于Dijkstra最短路径算法，并支持IPv4和IPv6网络。

OSPF的工作原理如下：1. 链路状态数据库（Link State Database）：每个OSPF路由器都维护着一个链路状态数据库，其中存储了它所连接的所有网络的信息，包括链路的状态、带宽、延迟等。

每个OSPF路由器通过发送链路状态更新（Link State Update）将自己的链路状态信息告知其他路由器。

2.路由器之间的邻居关系建立：OSPF路由器之间通过邻居发现过程建立邻居关系。

当一个OSPF路由器启动时，它会向网络广播HELLO消息来寻找其他路由器。

当两个路由器之间收到彼此的HELLO消息时，它们可以建立邻居关系。

3. 路由计算：每个OSPF路由器通过收集链路状态信息来计算最短路径。

路由器将链路状态信息存储在链路状态数据库中，并使用Dijkstra 最短路径算法来确定到达目标网络最短路径。

4.路由更新：当链路状态发生变化时，OSPF路由器将会发送更新消息通知其他路由器。

其他路由器接收到更新消息后，会更新自己的链路状态数据库，并重新计算最短路径。

OSPF的配置如下：1. 启用OSPF协议：在路由器配置模式下使用"router ospf"命令启用OSPF协议。

2. 配置区域（Area）：将网络划分为不同的区域。

它是一种面向连接的数据链路技术，为提供高性能和高效率数据传输进行了技术简化，它靠高层协议进行差错校正，并充分利用了当今光纤和数字网络技术。

总之,FR是一种用于构建中等高速报文交换式广域网的技术。

同时它也是是由国际电信联盟通信标准化组和美国国家标准化协会制定的一种标准。

帧中继的作用和应用：①帧使用DLCI进行标识，它工作在第二层；帧中继的优点在于它的低开销。

②帧中继在带宽方面没有限制，它可以提供较高的带宽。

典型速率56K-2M/s内，最大速度可达到T3(45Mb/s)。

③采用虚电路技术，对分组交换技术进行简化，具有吞吐量大、时延小，适合突发性业务等特点，能充分利用网络资源。

④可以组建虚拟专用网，即将网络上的几个节点，划分为一个分区，并设置相对独立的网络管理机构，对分区内数据流量及各种资源进行管理；分区内各节点共享分区内网络资源，相互间的数据处理和传送相对独立，对帧中继网络中的其他用户不造成影响。

采用虚拟专用网所需要费用比组建一个实际的专用网经济合算，因此对大企业用户十分有利。

帧中继和ATM的比较：目前，计算机局域网(LAN)之间或主机间的互连主要使用两种技术：帧中继和ATM。

国内很多地方都已经开始将这两种技术应用到企业网、校园网等部门网络中。

目前大多数帧中继应用的运行速率为56Kbit／s／64Kbit／s或512Kbit／s，而ATM可达155Mbit／s、622Mbit／，和2．5Gbit／s，但ATM技术复杂，ATM 设备比帧中继设备昂贵得多，一般用户难以接受。

从未来发展看，ATM适宜承担B—ISDN(宽带综合业务数字网)的骨干网部分，用户接入网可以是时分多路复用(TDM)、帧中继、语音、图像、LAN、多媒体等，帧中继将作为用户接入网发挥其作用。
