是公共管理类本科生的选修课。
编写目的:编写本大纲的目的是使学生了解本课程的教学目的和基本要求,课程主要内容和学时分配以及参考书目,课程的其他安排等等。
在教学大纲的辅助下,学生能够更清楚了解课程的安排,帮助学生更好掌握本课程的内容和培养相关能力。
课程简介:本课程用英文原版书籍作为教材,意图通过课堂教学的各个环节和学生的自我学习,全面提高学生在专业(公共管理和政策)英语方面的能力,包括听,说,读,写等等。
课程教学目的:本课程有几项教学目的。
一是帮助学生提高公共管理专业英语的词汇,阅读能力,写作能力和一定的听说能力。
二是使学生在提高专业英语水平的同时,掌握一些相关的公共管理尤其是西方社会政策方面的知识。
三是在学生掌握西方相关公共管理知识的前提下,引导学生对中国的公共管理问题尤其是社会政策方面的问题进行深入思考,得出西方公共管理相关问题的对策和建议。
