一、教学目标：
1.知识目标：
1) 能掌握以下单词：sitcom, news, soap opera
2）能掌握以下句型：
①What do you want to watch……?
②What do you think of talk shows?
③I can’t stand them.
④I don’t mind them.
⑤I like/love them. / I don’t like them.
2.能力目标：培养学生的听说能力，使学生学会陈述自己的看法，学会谈论自
己的喜好。

3.情感态度价值观目标：学生学会谈论流行文化，了解各类电视节目的名称和
自己的喜好。

注意引导学生们形成正确的文化观念，大力培养学生们的跨文化意识，形成自己独立的个性。

二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点：学习掌握各类电视节目的名称。

2. 教学难点：学会陈述自己的看法，学会谈论自己的喜好。

三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Lead-in (导入)
通过一个“survey”和第二单元的句型“What do you usually do on weekends?”以及第四单元的句型“Which one do you like best?”来导入新课程。

Ⅱ. New words（新单词）
1.Learn the names of the TV shows. 通过看各类节目的图片来学习这些电视节
目的名称。

2.Have a try. Translate the names of the TV shows.
3.Match the TV shows with the pictures. (1a)
4.Check the answers with the students.
Ⅲ. Listening (1b)
1. Students read the shows in the box. Make sure they know the meaning of the
shows.
2. Play the recording for the first time. Students listen and number the shows1-4.
3. Play the recording again. Check the answers together.
Ⅳ. Pair work（合作）
1. Explain the sentences structures: I love them. / I like them. / I don’t mind them. / I
don’t like them. / I can’t stand them.
2. Make dialogues according to the pictures in the PPT.
3. Make conversations according the example in 1c.
4. Some pairs share their conversations. Teacher corrects mistakes if it is necessary. Ⅴ.Summary（总结）

A. think of 认为
What do you think of…?=How do you like …? 你认为/觉得……怎么样？

B. I don’t mind them. 我不介意他们。

mind 介意;在乎。

(表示请求或征求意见) 后接名词、动名词或代词。

多用于以下句型:
Would you mind doing …?
Would you mind opening the door?
Do you mind ……?
Do you mind my dog?
C. I can’t stand it! 我不能忍受它！
stand 忍受(多用于否定句、疑问句)常与can’t 连用。

can’t stand后接名词、代词和动词ing形式。

I can’t stand the movie! It is too boring!
We can’t stand standing too long.
I can’t stand him any more.
