Most people are white. Its official language is English. The UK has a very long history. It is a very powerful country in the world.The United Kingdom was created by the Act of Union 1800 and constitutes（构成，组成）the greater part of the British Isles, a group of islands lying off the northwest coast of Europe.Culture in the United Kingdom is rich and diverse（不同的；多种多样的；变化多的）, with a strong tradition of literature, theatre, popular and orchestral （[ɔː'kestr(ə)]）music（管弦乐）and the performing arts.
