Show a video about a show and ask Ss the following questions:

Do you like watching shows?

What kind of shows do you like?

What do you think of the show you like?

Step 2了解与话题相关的词汇,并通过对话的形式对词汇加以运用, 为听力部分打好词汇基础。

1.Work on 1a

Get Ss to look at words and phrases in the box in 1a, and write these words and

phrases next to their opposites in the chart. Then check the answers in class.

2.Work on 1b

①Ask Ss to look at the chart again, and tell their partners about people they

know, using the words in 1a.

②Give Ss a sample and let Ss talk in pairs.

③Select some pairs to share their dialogues in class.
