One day ,my roomate asked me a question that if I could go back and live one year of my life over again ,which year would I choose ?I have thinked over this question several times.not because my roomate asked ,just because I want to find out if there is something I regret .And the answer is yes there is. I know I can not change anything .but I just want to talk about it .I took part in the entrance exam for postgraduate school twice and lost both times. It was a lengthy process to prepare for entrance examination ,durning this process I learned a lot from my failure. and I regret for it at the same time . I was easily upset by my boyfriend at that time .I should have pasted the exam but I havenot . it was my fault ,I think that must have let my parents down . and next year I tried it again and lost again. How wish I could control myself to deal with the contradicton between my parents and my boyfriend. Unfortunately, I have not .i lost him and missed him so much . I have ever lost faith in life ,and eventually I have yet conquered this difficulty.i think it is a turning point in my life .Then I met you here ,I love everybody here and thank godness I start my new life ,I appreciate it . Now thinking about the question my roomate asked me , which year I would choose to live it again, I put it frankly that I do not need to live the past time over again, and I know the most important thing is to try my best to do myself and try my best to make decision that I will not feelregret tomorrow. We all wish our life meaningful. We must look forward and that is what I want. That is all ,thank you .。

Find out the most common interview questions and answers here.Interview Questions - Tips for Job SeekersAttending job interviews can be intimidating! Being prepared will help you through the experience by increasing confidence, ensuring that you are presenting yourself appropriately and may ultimately bring success in securing the position. The process of interview preparation gives you the opportunity to mentally orient yourself as suitable for a job so that at interview you are already seeing yourself in the role.Researching for Interview QuestionsAn important part of interview preparation is to find out as much as possible about the organisation and the position. Find the company’s website and spend time learning about the organisation. What does the company do? What is its structure? Are there any issues to be aware of? Being able to demonstrate your knowledge will show the interviewers that you have some understanding of the company’s role and position in the market, who its competitors are and any challenges it might be facing.Having a good understanding of the role in question is just as important. This will help you identify your own suitability for the job vacancy and demonstrate this during the interview.Self-Awareness and Interview PreparationBeing aware of your strengths and challenges in an interview situation will help you put your best foot forward on the day. If you are typically a nervous wreck in job interviews, consider how you can support yourself through the process. Instead of rushing to an interview, plan some time to sit somewhere quietly beforeh and to help you get grounded and focus. If nerves aren’t much of a problem but you find it hard to remember examples of your work when asked, focus on these in your interview preparation.Practice, practice, practice! Ask a friend or colleague to help you practice your job interview technique and give you helpful comments. Make sure you choose someone who knows your work and will give honest and constructive feedback. Finally, if you are attending an interview at a company at which you already work, be care ful not to undersell yourself. Never assume that the interviewers already know all about you; it can be helpful to try to forget you know them and answer interview questions accordingly.Common Interview Questions and AnswersTypically there are 3 types of job interview questions. General exploratory questions are often used at the start of an interview, aimed at relaxing you and getting to know you a little. Designed to focus on how you function in a role, behavioural interview questions are generally probing and focus on your past approaches and look for how you might fit the company. The third type are situational interview questions. These are typically designed around real or hypothetical situations applicable to the job vacancy. Following are the 5 most common interview questions and answers to help you in your interview preparation.T ell us about yourselfOften the first question asked, this is a great opportunity to make a positive first impression. Make sure you mention your expertise and strengths, how your career has developed and where you want to head now - relating this to the job vacancy of course. Be brief and concise; don’t get carried away and give them your life story. Why have you applied for this job?Talk about why the company interests you - perhaps you’re passionate about the services it provides - and how the role matches your professional interests and experience. Values are a big thing with organisations these days so make sure you’ve checked for a values statement on their website an d can talk about how they fit with your own. What is your understanding of the company?Remember your interview question research? Use it to talk about what the company does, why it exists and where it sits in the market. Maybe the company is facing some challenges or might even be in the media; this interview question is a chance to demonstrate your knowledge. What are your strengths and weaknesses?Your interview preparation will have given you an understanding of what the company is seeking, so make sure you are ready to match your skills and knowledge to their needs. As far as weaknesses go, it is perfectly ok to talk about these, as long as you don’t mention anything listed in the selection criteria. A good way of describing a weakness is to talk about what you have done to manage it e.g. you have had to learn when to step back from your tendency to be a perfectionist.Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Most people dislike this interview question because often the real answer is ‘I don’t know’. One wa y of dealing with it is to talk about how you would like to be experiencing the workplace, i.e. feeling valued, making a real contribution, developing and using your skills and knowledge. And Finally…Always when answering interview questions, keep in mind that you need to promote yourself for the position. Make sure that you tie each of your answers back to your skills and motivation and demonstrate how you are the right fit for the organisation.Good luck!9.high scores, low abilityHigh Test Scores, Low AbilityYong Zhao is the University Distinguished Professor in the College of Education at Michigan State University. The author of "Catching Up o r Leading the Way: American Education in the Age of Globalization," he often blogs abo ut educatio n issues.Updated December 4, 2010, 12:53 AMThere's a frustrating paradox in Chinese educatio n. On the one hand, millions of co llege graduates canno t find a job -- at least a desirable job that pay s substantially mo re than what a migrant wo rker makes. On the other hand, businesses that want to pay a lo t mo re can't seem to find qualified emplo y ees.A McKinsey stu dy fo und that fewer than 10 percent of Chinese graduates are co nsidered suitable to work at multinationalcompanies based in C hina.Multinational co mpanies in China are having a difficult time finding qualified candidates fo r their positio ns. Acco rding to a recent survey of U.S.-owned enterprises conducted b y the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, 37 percent of the co mpanies that responded said that finding talent was their biggest operational problem. A separate study by McKinsey Quarterly found that 44 percent of the executives in Chinese companies repo rted that insufficient talent was the biggest barrier to their global ambitio ns.The explanation: a test-o riented educational enviro nment.China invented the keju system, which used tests to select go vernment officials. It was a great inventio n because it enabled talents fro m across the society to join the ruling class regardless of their family backgro unds. Hence, a great meritocracy co uld be created. But it ev o lved into a nightmare fo r China as the system gradually changed into one that tested memo rizatio n of Confucian classics.Associated Press Teachers sortingcollege entrance exams in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, in June 2009.Keju is dead no w but its spirit is very alive in China today, in the fo rm of gaokao, o r the College Entrance Exam. I t's the only exam that matters since it determines whether students can attend college and whatkind of co lleges they can attend. Because of its life-determining nature, gaokao has beco me the “bato n” that co nducts the who le educatio n orchestra. Students, parents, teachers, school leaders and even local go vernment officials all wo rk to gether to get good scores. From a very yo ung age, children are rel ieved of any other burden or deprived of opportunity to do anything else so they can focus on getting good scores. The result is that Chinese college graduates often have high sco res but lo w ability. Those who are good at taking tests go to college, which also emphasizes book kno wledge. But when the y graduate, they find out that emplo yers actually want much mo re than test sco res. That is why another study by McKinsey found that fewer than 10 percent of Chinese college graduates wo uld be suitable fo r work in foreign co mpanies.Chinese educators are well aware of the problems with the gaokao system and have been trying to mo v e away fro m the excessive focus o n testing.
