Module 1 Unit 4 EarthquakesReadingA night the earth didn’t sleep教学设计I. 教材分析本节课话题为“地震”,是学生比较熟悉的话题,各项教学活动也都是围绕地震展开。
Reading文章具体描写了1976年唐山大地震的震前、震中和震后。
作者详细描述了地震来临前的一些不正常的自然现象及动物的反常表现;地震的来势汹汹并在顷刻间将整座城市夷为平地;震后人们勇敢面对现实并及时实施抢救和重建工作。
II. 生情分析本班学生经过半个多学期以来的努力,在英语学习上取得了一定的进步,对英语这门学科开始逐渐培养起兴趣和信心,从开学时“我不喜欢英语,我打算放弃英语”到现在“我觉得我能学好英语,只要我肯努力”,整个班级的英语氛围已经有了很大的改观。
但是问题依然存在,例如词汇薄弱,基础底子不好,付出很多但是进步微弱等,他们在听说读写等语言综合运用能力上还有很大的提升空间。
针对上述情况,我整合了本节课的阅读教材,以激发学生的好奇心和兴趣,设计听说读写等小组活动环节帮助学生去理解掌握课文,引导学生在原有的知识经验基础上通过合作探究学习构建新的知识经验和信息输入,使在步步深入的学习过程中克服对长篇文章的畏难情绪,既提升了听说读写等综合技能,又能领略到学习英语的成就感和乐趣,从而在根本上去解决学生的瞌睡现象。
III. 三维教学目标知识目标:①了解文章的结构和段落大意;②理解文章内容,熟悉与地震话题相关的一些重点单词、短语。
能力目标:①训练阅读技巧(略读、寻读等),形成用英语获取信息、处理分析信息的能力;②能运用所学语言知识描述地震前兆、危害及震后援救;③能够根据已知信息推测将要听取的材料的内容;敢于开口说英语。
情感目标:①通过学习激发对英语学习的浓厚兴趣;②领会语言丰富多彩性的同时对地震有更多认识,加强自我保护。
③通过对课文学习的小组讨论等形式,养成团结协作的品质和共享交流的习惯。
