为此，自2013年以来，马钢铁运公司借鉴同行各单位的先进经验，大胆创新，以“优化过程控制，实行集中监控”为目标，以“探索创新，简化劳动量”为原则，结合原有的铁路微机联锁系统为基础，充分挖掘既有各类资源，发展各类铁路电务智能化系统，形成了具有铁运特色的“铁路电务智能化控制管理系统”。
“铁路电务智能化维修管理系统”主要建设内容包括“铁路信号远程维修检测系统，铁路视频监控系统，铁路道口远程操控系统，铁路机车安全控制系统，铁路设备管控系统“等各类智能子系统，为完成各子系统运行，基础建设内容包含：1.1 网络建设铁运公司原有各生产岗点的网络，基本借用马钢公司生产大网，该网络面向于全集团公司，网络节点多，拓扑结构复杂，用户众多，存在诸多不可控制因素，容易出现各类网络故障，且故障处理维护归自动化工程公司管理，故障处理时间较为欠缺，容易出现应用层网络问题导致影响各类子系统的运行。
因此在实际建设中，我们根据各系统运行需求，结合现场实际，逐步建立了覆盖各信号楼，铁路道口，维修中修的光纤网络，基本形成了铁运公司生产环网，从而保证了各系统的顺畅运行(见图1)。
