教材分析：本课时教学的内容是译林版六年级上册第七单元Protect the

Earth(Story time)。这个单元跟第六单元有些练习，都和环保有关，所以在引出本课话题之初，我设置了地球妈妈受伤害的情境，让学生各抒己见，一方面复习了第六单元内容，另一方面因势利导，引出新课内容。

二、教学目标：

1、 能听懂、会读、会说protect, earth, save, useful, waste, reuse, energy, most,

coal, wood, cut down, plastic, oil, drive, so much.

3、 通过小组合作交流，利用思维导图，能正确地理解并能用标准的语音语调朗读文本，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

4、 让学生了解保护地球的重要性，培养学生热爱地球，保护地球的意识，了解更多保护地球的方法。

地球是人类的家园，她给人类提供了生存的空间和资源，是人类在这里生息繁衍。现在，全球面临资源短缺、环境污染、生态破坏者三大危机，作为地球公民，师生有责任就“保护地球”这一话题进行探讨。教师在教学过程中要紧密联系生活实际，引导学生热爱地球、保护地球。本单元围绕话题“保护地球”，主要学习句型use …to 的用法。本单元还再现了情态动词should的用法，教师可以结合学生五年级学习的语言知识点，让学生更熟练的操练病掌握其用法。在教学过程中，教师要善于抓住学生的兴趣点，充分利用多媒体、实物、简笔画、照片等媒介，加上生动的语言和形象的体态语，使语言点的训练密切联系生活，使学生们爱说乐说。
