1 A short story:

These days obesity and overweight are very common. People struggle to lose their weight and

are often bullied and face body shaming due to their shape. Once I was one of those people who

fear to lose weight and thought I could never become fit from fat. It is also a trend that in order to

lose weight one must join a fitness center or gym. But I have lost about 15kgs of weight without

going to the gym. My secret of this transformation lies in exercising, following a proper nutritious

diet as well as good habits.

My fitness methods included working out regularly. I majorly focused on jogging, swimming,

rope skipping, doing yoga and so on. Jogging is the most effective and efficient exercise for

building up my body and being full of energy. Exercising brings us health as well as relaxation

and pleasure. Much stress and negative emotions can be drained away by doing exercises.

Keeping a balanced diet also plays an important role. I ate calcium and protein-rich foods to

keep healthy. I also ate fruits on the first day and vegetables, on the second and third day was a

mix of both nutritious vegetables and fruits. This cycle was repeated every three days

continuously except for Sundays when I was allowed to eat other tasty food items.

Developing a good habit of sleeping is also essential to my life, which ensures me a healthy

body and a good mood. Having a good rest is the basic, so that I can have enough strength in the

whole day. Otherwise, I can do nothing if I were sleepy. Therefore, remember to sleep and get up

early. As the old saying goes, early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

In short, healthy living habits are beneficial.
