原级即形容词的原形，比较级和最高级有规则变化和不规则变化两种。

（1）规则变化2.或事物中“最……”，其中最高级前通常加定冠词，物主代词，名词所有格。

比较范围是短语或从句。

如：Spring is the best season of the year.（比较范围为短语）春天是一年中最好的季节。

This is the best picture that he has ever painted.（比较范围为从句）这是他画的最好的一张画。

形容词副词最高级的其他用法：（1）形容词副词最高级前可以有一个表示程度的副词或数词。

如：Of the three boys Nick is almost the cleverest.这三个男孩中，尼克差不多是最聪明的了。

She is by far the most active member in our group. 她是我们组最活跃的成员。

（2）在作表语的形容词最高级前，如果不和别的相比，常常不加冠词。
