而remind somebody to do something是指“提醒某人去做某事”。

worried about the journey 为过去分词作状语,在此处作原因状语。
6. lag v./n. 走得慢, 落后, 滞后He is lagging behind a bit—I think we’d better wait for him to catch us up.他有点落后了——我想我们最好等他赶上来吧。
As far as prison reform is concerned, we lagged behind a lot of other countries for years.就监狱改革而言, 我们落后于许多其他国家很多年。

8.previous adj.Existing or occurring before something else in time or order;先前的,先的,前的:在时间或顺序上存在或发生在其它别的事之前的;先前的previous 指“时间上早于某人物、事件或行动的”, 如:He cannot go, for he has a previous engagement.他不能去, 因他已先有约会。
on some day previous to Christmas在圣诞节前的某日His previous attempt was successful.他以前的尝试成功了。
