An honest cleaner是人教版高中英语必修三第5单元the value of the money的听说部分。 本课主题是“金钱的价值”，首先是一则清洁工拾金不昧的新闻报道引发讨论，而主 体部分是根据美国作家马克吐温的短篇小说《百万英镑》和同名电影改编的戏剧剧本。 听说部分主要通过清洁工拾金不昧的新闻报道开启本单元关于“金钱的价值”的主题 讨论，同时为后面探究《百万英镑》戏剧的主题意义做铺垫。另一方面，新闻材料的 引入，也体现了语言学习的实用性。此版块旨在帮助学生熟悉新闻材料的相关内容， 培养学生听英语新闻的技能，树立正确的金钱价值观。

设计意图：初步理解听力材料，完成题目要求，初步掌握新闻文体材 料特点
