2019-2021上海市英语高考作文真题汇编2019年春考真题作文Write an English composition in 120-150 words according to the instructions given below in Chinese.假如你是明启中学的李华,你的朋友李楠给你写了一封信,告诉你他要开发一个新的APP,用这个软件共享衣服,想要征集大家的看法,你是否愿意共享你的衣服,给出理由(信的格式已给)。
范文1Dear Li Nan,Hearing that you have developed a new app of students sharing clothes, I feel truly proud of your novel idea. Personally speaking, I am willing to share my clothes on your app. The reasons are as follows. To begin with, it will be wonderful for me if I learn that someone that I barely know of can share my happiness of wearing my clothes. It feels like you are emotionally connecting someone in your clothes. Then I may naturally wish to know more about that particular “someone” and probably further deepen our relationship. In the end, a good friendship between me and my clothes mate might be built based on our common clothes. What’s more, if other students can try my clothes through the app. In turn, I also can try their new clothes. Therefore, students can wear different types of clothes without actually spending any money. What’s more important is that sharing my clothes will take full use of them. In today’s material society, there are so many parents who prepare lots of clothes for their beloved children for different occasions, such as a dress for the party, gym suit for indoor sports. Moreover, the clothes can only realize their true value after they are put on a person’s body.To summarize, sharing my clothes on your app benefits others and me.Yours,Li Hua范文2Dear Li Nan,In response to your original/ novel/ pioneering/ innovative/ transformative/ revolutionary /groundbreaking(paraphrase) idea that a new application harnessed by people to share clothes is to be exploited, I’d like to air my thought that your view earns my favor. Three factors can account for my preference.First and foremost, the value of sharing deserves to be highlighted. With the emergence of thenovel paraphrased app, taking full advantage of the resources wisely never fails to lead human’s life to break new grounds. It can permit us students to wear various clothes without any spendings, through which those clothes can be reserved for the art festival performance, adding brilliant touch to the celebration ceremony. Consequently, the resources can be utilized fully, avoiding the waste resources. Plus, small bits can result in a huge change. As we all know, there is a woeful shortage of clothes all over China, especially in the poverty-stricken areas. Your advance in developing this app can allow us to provide our small assistance for them easily, which, to some extent, can iron out the local well-being problem. Last but not least, as the device rounds up the clothes, identical outlooks on fashion enable us to interact with each other closely, giving rise to boosting interpersonal relationship. Gossip of clothing style can make girls become kindred souls immediately.Longing for the gear bringing us more benefits, I truly hope you can do utmost to make it. Your Sincerely,Li Hua范文3Dear Li Nan,I’m so glad to receive your letter saying that you want to design an APP to share clothes, which is definitely beneficial to the sharers. But I’m afraid that I hold a different opinion. With the booming of economy, more and more sharing APPs appear, such as bike-sharing, umbrella-sharing and clothes-sharing etc. But clothes-sharing has become a controversial issue. As far as I am concerned, its disadvantages outweigh its advantages.First of all, most people won’t give their cherished clothes out easily, as they think that clothes are a part of their individual privacy. For some neat freaks, they will feel uncomfortable when they wear others’ clothes. Even if they will share, they may share some clothes which are worn and not fashionable. Therefore, itis difficult for you to collect as many good quality clothes as possible. If you don’t have assorted clothes styles, how can you make sure people will choose your APP and rent the clothes? What’s more, people may worry that clothes-sharing will have some hidden dangers to health. Some infectious diseases carried by the sharers or users may bring potential risks to those using the same clothes. So, have you ever considered how to deal with this problem? From what have been mentioned above, I hope you can think twice before making up your mind. Your Sincerely,Li HuaWrite an English composition in 120-150 words according to the instructions given below in Chinese.

Pets can bring them a lot of joys and happiness, because playing with pets is a good way to communicate with the nature. Besides, pets can comfort old people who live alone. With the companion of pets, they won’t feel lonely. Nevertheless, I’m not interested in keeping pets at all. As I’ve always been inter estedin charity, I’m writing to you in the hope that I could be given the 2,000-yuan fund to carry out my project to help children in poorareas. My poverty-relief program is divided into three parts. In the initial stage, I’ll try to purchase textbooks for subjects such as English and Maths. Given that new books are usually expensive, I’ll be on the look-out for good-quality second-hand books. The second stage of my program is to recruit high school students who have a strong desire to help pupils in poor areas. Surely they should be armed withrelatively profound knowledge to be qualified teachers. We will set out for primary schools, which are selected and contacted in advance, to carry out our program, which of course is my last stage. As to how to allocate the money, I’d like to use 1,000 for textbooks, and the rest to pay for the travelling fee of volunteers.I am looking forward to your reply, thanks!Yours,Li Ming (188/ 8+7+4 )---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To whom it may concern,Dear Sir or Madam,My name is Li Ming, a student from Ming Qi middle school.I’m writing this e-mail, on behalf of every charity-pursuer, to apply for the project aimed at helping children in poverty-stricken areas. My experience of last year’s visit to a school in the depth of a mountain triggered the intention to shoulder the responsibility of helping them overcome the hardships and struggles they would go through. There is a series of steps in my project that will be demonstrated as follows:Of the top priority is our organizing an activity to introduce the living and learning conditions of kids in poor areas and thus bringing home to the public the urgency of immediate action to be taken to help them out, whether by donating money or by sending daily necessities from clothes to books. As should be done next, a video play will be shot to convey the wishes, cheers and encouragement from us city people to them. Equally significantly, I along with my teammates have planned to visit those kids, to play and chat with them, which is bound to establish a solidconnection between us.If I were lucky enough to be granted the 2000 yuan fund, a quarter of it would be spared for the traffic and so cost, while the rest would be added to the money collected to be donated contributing to modernizing and improving the teaching devices. Thanks for taking time to read my e-mail and I’m looking forward to beingpart of your project.
1My Amazing Adventure at the Longning District High School English Mock ExamHi everyone! My name is Timmy, and I'm a fifth-grade student at Sunshine Elementary School. Guess what? Today, I had the most incredible adventure at the Longning District High School. I got to participate in the English mock exam for the high school seniors! Let me tell you all about it.First of all, when I entered the school, I couldn't believe how big it was! The hallways were so long, and the classrooms seemed to stretch on forever. I felt like a little ant in a gigantic maze. The older students, who were preparing for the exam, looked so serious. I was a little nervous, but also excited to experience a taste of what high school life would be like. The exam room was huge, with rows and rows of desks and chairs. I was lucky enough to sit next to Lily, a friendly high school student who made me feel less nervous. The exam began, and I glanced at the paper. Wow, the questions were challenging! There were reading comprehension, grammar, and writing sections. I had to read passages, answer questions, and even write an essay. Phew, it was quite a task! But you know what? I didn't give up! I remembered all the English lessons I had learned in elementary school. I carefully read the passages and tried my best to answer the questions. Some were tricky, but I used my thinking cap and solved them. I felt proud of myself for not giving in to the difficult questions.During the break, Lily and I chatted about our hobbies and dreams. She told me that studying hard is important, but it's also essential to have fun and pursue our passions. She shared her love for music and how she played the piano in the school band.I told her about my interest in painting and how I hoped to become an artist someday. It was inspiring to hear her talk about balancing studies and hobbies. After the break, it was time for the writing section. The topic was "The Importance of Friendship." I thought about my best friend, Tommy, and how we always support each other. I wrote about the adventures we had together, the laughter we shared, and how we helped each other through tough times. Writing the essay made me appreciate the value of true friendship even more. Finally, the exam came to an end. I felt a mix of relief and satisfaction. It was challenging, but I gave it my all. Lily and I exchanged emails and promised to keep in touch. She encouraged me to keep working hard and pursue my dreams. As I left Longning District High School, I couldn't help but reflect on the experience. The mock exam gave me a glimpse into the future and made me realize that hard work and determination are keys to success. I learned that even though things may seem tough, perseverance and a positive attitude can help us overcome any obstacles. Now, I'm more excited than ever to continue my studies and face new challenges. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be sitting in that exam room as a high school senior, ready to take on the real exam!So that was my amazing adventure at the Longning District High School English mock exam. It was an unforgettable experience that taught me valuable lessons. I'm grateful for the opportunity, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.篇2My Big Summer VacationYay, it's finally summer break! No more waking up early, no more homework, no more tests. Just three months of pure freedom and fun. This is gonna be the best summer ever! The first week I stayed home and played lots of video games.I beat all the levels on Super Blast Bros. and Mushroom Questers. Then I got a little bored just sitting around the house all day. That's when Mom said we were going on a trip!"We're going camping in the mountains!" she told me and my little brother Shu. I was super excited because I love camping. We loaded up the car with our tent, sleeping bags, camp stove, and all our gear. The drive took forever but we finally made it to the campground in the forest.Setting up the tent was hard work. Dad couldn't figure out how to put up the poles and stakes at first. Mom had to read the directions about ten times. Me and Shu just played with pinecones while they struggled with it. But after a while we finally got it pitched and moved all our stuff inside. That night we made s'mores around the campfire. Shu got chocolate all over his face and hands, he looked like a little raccoon! We told spooky stories and looked at the bright stars in the dark sky. I've never seen so many stars before since you can't see them very well in the city. The next morning, we went on a long hike through the woods. The fresh air smelled amazing. We saw squirrels and chipmunks scampering along the trail. Dad pointed out different birds and trees to us. At one point, we were walking along and suddenly Dad stopped."Hold very still," he whispered. "There's a bear just up ahead." We froze and slowly turned our heads. About 20 meters in front of us was a huge black bear, digging around for grubs or roots or something! We watched in silence as it lumbered along the path searching for food. After a few minutes, it wandered off into the deeper forest. That was so cool to see a real bear up close like that!Later, we had a picnic lunch by a pretty stream. I skipped rocks across the surface while Shu looked for crawdads under the rocks. In the afternoon, we hiked up to this incredible waterfall. The thundering water tumbled down probably 200 feet. We stayed for a while enjoying the amazing view and taking pictures.Back at camp, we had a campfire again and roasted hot dogs for dinner. Shu got mustard all over his new camp shirt, haha! I was feeling tired from all the hiking, so after we finished eating I was ready for bed. Sleeping in the tent was fun, listening to thenight sounds of the crickets and owls. Although Shu woke me up a couple times tossing and turning. The next morning, Mom made pancakes on the camp stove. They were a little burned on one side but still tasted great with maple syrup. We spent the rest of the day exploring more trails, played some card games, and hung out at the camp relaxing. That evening we had one last campfire. Sadly, it was our final night camping since we had to go back home tomorrow. The drive home felt really long. I was exhausted from being so active outdoors all weekend. As soon as we got back, I took a nice long bath to get all the dirt and bugs off me. Then I collapsed on the couch feeling tired but happy.I had such an awesome time camping in nature with my family. We made so many great memories together. It was the perfect way to start my summer break. Although, I'm not sure how I'll top that for the next couple months! Maybe a trip to Beijing next?篇3My Wild Adventures in SchoolHi there! My name is Lili and I'm a 4th grade student at Rainbow Elementary School. School is usually fun, but this year has been full of the craziest adventures! I can't wait to tell you all about them.It all started on the very first day of school. I was so excited to see my friends again after summer break. We were all catching up in the classroom when our teacher Mrs. Wang came in looking flustered. "Class, I have some uhh...unexpected news," she said nervously. "It appears a family of raccoons has moved into the supply closet overnight!"We all gasped! Raccoons? In our classroom? Sure enough, we could hear little scratching sounds coming from the closet. Mrs. Wang tried opening it slowly, but as soon as the door creaked open, three giant raccoons came tumbling out! They knocked over desks and bookshelves as they scampered around, hissing and knocking everything over. We all screamed and scrambled to get out of their way. It was complete mayhem! Finally, the school janitor managed to gently shoo the raccoons out a window and back outside where they belonged. But they had made quite a mess of our classroom! We had to spend the whole first day cleaning up and rearranging all thedesks and books. Not how I expected to start 4th grade, that's for sure!A few weeks later, we were in the middle of a math test when all of a sudden, the fire alarm started blaring! We looked around in confusion as Mrs. Wang calmly said "Okay everyone, you know the drill. Line up and exit the building quickly and calmly."We followed her instructions, heading outside to our designated meeting area. But there was no fire truck or anyone else outside. Had it been a false alarm? We waited and waited, but still no sign of any emergency. Finally, the principal came running out looking frantic."Oh thank goodness you're all here and safe!" he exclaimed. "One of the kindergartners accidentally pulled the fire alarm. But there's no fire, everything is fine."We couldn't believe it! All that panic because a little kid couldn't resist pulling the big red lever. We were allowed to go back inside and finish our test, but it was hard to concentrate after that adrenaline rush! It turned into one of those days you just never forget.Another time, we were out on the playground during recess when we noticed a strange vehicle parked near the fence. Itlooked like a silly tiny car, barely big enough for a couple kids to fit inside! Just then, a head popped out of the weird little car. It was Mr. Zhang, the meanest, strictest teacher in the whole school!"You rascals better not be planning any trouble over there!" he shouted, trying and failing to climb out of the tiny car. "I'll be watching you!"Well, we couldn't help but burst out laughing at the sight. How did he even get inside that comically small car? And why? We watched, in fits of giggles, as poor Mr. Zhang desperately tried to squeeze his way out of that little clown car, turning redder and redder in the face from exertion and embarrassment.Eventuelly, a couple of the braver kids went over and managed to pull him out. Turned out Mr. Zhang's car was in the shop, so he had to borrow his nephew's kiddie toy car as transportation for the day. He was so frazzled and disheveled, shaking his fist at us as we continued cracking up. "Just you wait until you're all in my class next year!" he fumed before angrily snatching the tiny car and driving it away while we howled with laughter. Those are just a few of the hilariously bizarre things that have happened this year at good ol' Rainbow Elementary. Araccoon invasion, a kindergarten fire drill prank, and the teacher stuck in a toy car - and that's not even all of it! Like that time we had a surprise tarantula visitor during our class pet presentation... But that's a story for another time.School is definitely never boring around here. Even though there's the occasional chaos and crisis, those are the kinds of stories that make the year memorable and fun. I can't wait to see what other wacky adventures 4th grade has in store! I'll be sure to keep you updated on all the madness. Thanks for reading, friends!篇4My School AdventuresHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I just finished 4th grade and I wanted to tell you all about my awesome school adventures this year. Get ready for some fun stories!First up, let me tell you about my favorite subject - art class! We have art once a week and I absolutely love it. Our teacher, Mrs. Park, is so nice and creative. This year we learned all about different painting styles like impressionism and cubism. We even got to make our own versions of famous paintings which was super cool. One of my favorite art projects was when we studied Vincent Van Gogh and his famous "Starry Night" painting. Mrs. Park had us use thick brushstrokes and swirling colors to recreate the night sky full of stars. It was really hard at first to get the brushstrokes right, but after some practice, my night sky looked amazing! I was so proud when I brought it home to show my parents. They hung it up on our fridge. In science class this year, we learned about the human body which was disgusting but also fascinating! We made these crazy looking models out of clay showing where all the organs go inside the body. I'll never forget what the intestines look like after twisting all that clay tubing. My friend Ava's model was hilarious because she accidently made the heart way too big. Mr. Thomas, our science teacher, gave her a hard time about having a massive heart!Another really fun unit in science was when we learned about ecosystems and different environments that animals live in. We went on a field trip to the City Park and looked for all the critters living in the creek, the soil, and among the trees. I caught a giant worm which was pretty gross but kind of cool. Tommy stepped in the creek and got his shoes all muddy which made the rest of us laugh so hard.My least favorite subject is definitely math, but I did have one really memorable time this year. We were learning about fractions and Mrs. Kim had put us into groups to work on some activities. In my group, there was this boy named Ryan who is a huge jokester. At one point, he looked at the paper and very seriously said "Mrs. Kim, I have a big question...what's the fractionated part of my brain that helps me understand these problems?" We all busted out laughing so hard, even Mrs. Kim had to chuckle at that one!Lunchtime at school is always an experience. You never know what the cafeteria ladies will put on your tray. Sometimes it's an absolute mystery meal. But my friends and I always have fun trying to guess what the unidentifiable items are. "I think this greyish looking slop is...mashed potatoes? Or is it stewed prunes?" One time, my buddy Chris got this hard biscuit-looking thing that was bright green. He took one bite and made this awful sour face - turns out it was a super tart Key lime pie disk! We all about died laughing at his priceless reaction.Recess is definitely the best part of the school day. That's when we get to run around on the playground and have adventures. There's this one game we play called War Ball that all the 4th graders are obsessed with. It's kind of like dodgeball butmore intense. You have to try and throw balls at the other team and get them "out" while also running around trying not to get hit yourself. It's pure chaos and people are diving all over the place. I'm actually pretty good at it because I'm little and can run fast. One time during War Ball, there was a stray ball that went flying over towards the parking lot. Me and two other kids decided to be the heroes and chase after it. Well, we were so focused on the ball that we didn't notice the parking lot attendant backing out of his booth. Next thing I knew, we had crashed right into the side of his truck! We all went falling down but luckily no one was hurt except for a scraped knee or two. The attendant was NOT happy though and marched us back over to Mrs. Franklin, the recess monitor. We all got in trouble but it was still kind of worth it for the crazy story!Another big highlight of 4th grade was our class field trip to the science museum. We got to see all sorts of interactive exhibits on space, the human body, dinosaurs, you name it. My favorite part was the physics laboratory where you could do all these experiments with gravity, force, and motion. I loved this one area that had a large vertical vacuum tube that would suck objects straight up when turned on. I must have dropped tennisballs, feathers, and little toy cars down that tube a hundred times just to watch them magically float up. So cool!Near the end of our field trip, my friend group got a little too rowdy and rambunctious in the museum gift shop. We were zooming around looking at all the science toys and puffy space alien figures and things started getting...chaotic. The gift shop manager kicked us out and threatened to call our teachers if we didn't settle down. Definitely a little embarrassing but it sure made for a memorable day!I can't finish telling you about my 4th grade adventures without mentioning our big school play at the end of the year! Our class put on a production of "The Lion King" which was a ton of work but so much fun. I got cast as one of the meerkat puppets in the Hakuna Matata scene. Learning how to operate those big puppet bodies and get the mouth movements right during our songs was really tricky. My mom had to help me practice at home a bunch.During our big performance night, there was one hilarious mishap on stage. My friend Abdul, who played one of the lions, accidentally got his costume tail stuck in a prop tree towards the end of the show. So for the entire finale song, he had to slowly drag this potted tree along with him while prancing around in hislion outfit. The parents in the audience were definitely trying not to laugh out loud too much. Classic Abdul!Well, those were some of the most exciting and unforgettable times from this crazy year of school. 4th grade was a total roller coaster ride filled with art projects, science experiments, recess adventures, field trips, and one epically messy class play. I made so many fun memories with my friends and somehow managed to learn some stuff too. Can't wait to see what 5th grade has in store! Thanks for reading all about my awesome school year.篇5My Big Important TestIt was a sunny morning and I was really excited and a little bit nervous. Today was the big important test at school - the Shanghai Changning District English exam practice test. It was just a practice, not the real huge deal final exam, but it was still very very important to me.I had been getting ready for weeks. My mom and dad helped me study English vocabulary words every night with flashcards. We would go through the whole stack over and over until I had them all memorized. Verbs like "acquire" and"flourish." Adjectives like "diligent" and "tenacious." My parents said if I learned all the big word meanings now, it would help me a ton not just on the test but also in the future. My best friend Liang and I also practiced conversational English together. We would pretend to have little talks about our favorite games, movies, books and more - all in English. At first it felt really awkward and silly, but after a while we got more comfortable. Liang is really good at English so it was great practice for me to try keeping up with his fast talking. The night before the test, I carefully laid out my lucky pencil case, my nice crisp test papers, and a couple fresh bottles of water. I wanted to have everything completely ready to go bright and early. I got my favorite pajamas picked out and set my alarm clock for 6am so I could get a good night's sleep but still have plenty of time in the morning. When the alarm went off, I jumped right out of bed full of energy. I felt rested and prepared. For breakfast, my mom made my favorite - jianbing! The crispy fried buttery eggs and you tiao bread dough sticks filled me up with good fuel for brain power. I also drank a glass of fresh orange juice with extra vitamin C to keep me alert.Liang and I walked to school together like we do every day. But today we talked all about how we thought the different sections of the test would go. The reading comprehension was often the hardest part for me, so I was a little worried about that. Liang on the other hand always breezes through the grammar sections, so he felt good about those. We tried to psych each other up and stay positive and confident. When we got to the classroom, the desks were arranged in neat rows facing the front chalkboard. I picked a spot towards the middle where I could see well but not get distracted by looking out any windows. I went ahead and put my lucky pen and extra pencils out on the desk, along with a fresh eraser and pencil sharpener. The school provided test booklets and answer sheets were already there waiting. The classroom slowly filled up with my classmates. Some looked sleepy but others seemed just as amped up as Liang and I felt. Our English teacher Mrs. Chang came in carrying a big heavy looking bag - probably filled with all the test materials. "Alright everyone, settle down now. This is an important day, but just think of it as really good practice. Do your best, stay focused, and I know you'll all do great!" She gave us an encouraging smile.First up was the reading comprehension section I had been nervous about. The passages were pretty long - all about things like the history of the English language and other cultures around the world. There were lots of confusing vocabulary words too, like "indispensable" and "sovereignty." As expected, it was pretty tough for me to understand everything. But Iread slowly and carefully, making sure to answer as many questions as I could.篇6An Essay by a Young Student about the English ExamHi there! My name is Xiao Ming and I'm a 10-year-old student in Shanghai. I just took this really big English exam called the "2021 Shanghai Changning District High School Entrance English Mock Test" and I wanted to tell you all about it!First of all, I was super nervous going into the test. My mom and dad kept telling me how important it was to do well so I could get into a good high school later on. They said this test would show if I've been studying hard in my English classes. I tried not to worry too much, but I definitely felt a little bit of pressure! When I arrived at the test center, there were so many other students there. We all had to line up and show our identification cards before going into the big room where the exam was held. The room had really long tables that seemed to go on forever! An exam proctor who looked very serious gave us all the instructions before starting the test. The first section was listening comprehension. We had to listen to recordings of people speaking English and answer multiple choice questions about what they said. Some of the recordings were pretty hard to understand because the speakers talked so fast! I tried my best to concentrate.Next up was the reading section which had several different passages to read followed by questions. I'm a pretty good reader, but some of the vocabulary was really advanced. I recognized some words from the English stories my mom reads to me at bedtime which made me happy. After reading there was a section on grammar and usage. We had to identify errors in sentences and also fill in blanks with the proper words. I've never been great at English grammar if I'm being honest. All those rules about verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, articles, and prepositions make my head spinsometimes! I moved ahead once I couldn't figure something out so I didn't get stuck.Whew, by the time we got to the writing section my hand was getting a little sore from all that bubbling in answers. For the writing, we had to write a short essay responding to a prompt. The prompt asked us to describe an experience that taught us an important lesson about something. I decided to write about the time I overslept and missed my uncle's wedding ceremony because it taught me the importance of being on time and responsible. I'm hoping I organized my essay okay and didn't make。

Classmate conflicts among senior middle school students are often heard on campus over recent years. These conflicts make the excitement of campus life grow grey and have bad effects on both their living and learning.Classmate conflicts often arise from(因…引起) daily tiny things such as space where to store books or notes. When personalities don’t mix(个性不合), the specifics can tear classmates apart (使..拆开)andsometimes even lead to serious conflicts. Besides, the fact that classmates hold different attitudes towards certain issues is another factor causing these conflicts.Classmate conflicts are harmful and need to be settled. 2021上海黄浦高三英语作文题In the bustling city of Shanghai, the students of Huangpu High School faced a unique challenge in 2021 - the English language essay portion of their senior year exams. This annual test not only assessed their proficiency in the English language but also their ability to convey their thoughts and perspectives on a given topic. The prompt for the 2021 essay was a thought-provoking one - it asked the students to reflect on the role of technology in their lives and how it has impacted their personal growth and development. As the students sat down to tackle this assignment, they knew that their response would not only determine their academic performance but also provide a window into their experiences and aspirations. For many of the students, technology had become an integral part of their daily lives, shaping their interactions, their learning, and their entertainment. They had grown up in a world where smartphones, social media, and the internet were ubiquitous, and they had come to rely on these tools for a wide range of tasks, from communicating with friends and family to accessing information and resources fortheir studies. One student, in particular, spoke about the ways in which technology had transformed her educational experience. She recounted how the shift to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic had initially been a challenge, as she had to adapt to a new way of engaging with her coursework and interacting with her teachers and classmates. However, she soon realized that the digital tools at her disposal offered new opportunities for learning and exploration."Through online platforms, I was able to access a wealth of information and resources that I wouldn't have had access to in a traditional classroom setting," she wrote. "I could watch educational videos, participate in virtual discussions, and collaborate with my peers on projects, all from the comfort of my own home. This flexibility and accessibility have been invaluable in helping me to deepen my understanding of the subject matter and to develop new skills."Another student, who had a passion for coding and computer science, discussed how technology had opened up a world of possibilities for him. He spoke about the ways in which he had used programming languages and software to create his own applications and games, and how this process had allowed him to tap into his creativity and problem-solving abilities."Technology has given me the tools to bring my ideas to life," he wrote. "Through coding, I can design and build solutions to real-world problems, and I find that process incredibly rewarding. It's not just about the end product, but about the journey of learning, experimenting, and iterating. Technology has empowered me to explore my interests and to develop skills that I know will be valuable in the years to come."However, the students also acknowledged the potential downsides of technology and the need to strike a balance in its use. One student, for example, spoke about the way in which social media had impacted her mental health, leading to feelings of anxiety and comparison."While technology has opened up new avenues for connection and self-expression, it has also introduced new challenges," she wrote. "I've found myself spending hours scrolling through social media, comparing myself to the carefully curated lives of my peers. This has led to feelings of inadequacy and a constant pressure to present a perfect image to the world. It's been important for me to learn to set boundaries and to prioritize my own well-being over the constant need to be online."Despite these challenges, the students overwhelmingly expressed asense of optimism and excitement about the role of technology in their lives. They saw it as a tool that could empower them to pursue their passions, to connect with others, and to make a positive impact on the world around them. One student, for example, spoke about his dream of using technology to address global issues like climate change and poverty. He described his vision of creating innovative solutions that could help to improve the lives of people around the world."Technology has the power to transform the world in profound and meaningful ways," he wrote. "I believe that by harnessing the power of technology, we can tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing our planet and our communities. Whether it's developing renewable energy solutions, creating more efficient agricultural practices, or improving access to healthcare and education, technology can be a powerful force for good."As the students concluded their essays, they knew that their words would be scrutinized and evaluated by their teachers and examiners. But more importantly, they knew that they had used this opportunity to reflect on the role of technology in their lives and to articulate their hopes and aspirations for the future. In the end, the 2021 English language essay prompt had challengedthe students of Huangpu High School to think deeply about the ways in which technology had shaped their experiences and their perspectives. And through their thoughtful and insightful responses, they had demonstrated not only their command of the English language but also their ability to engage with complex and nuanced issues in a meaningful and impactful way.。

With the rise of digital tools and platforms, the way we learn and teach has changed significantly. In this essay, I will discuss the positive and negative effects of technology on education. One of the most significant benefits of technology in education is the accessibility of information. Students can now access a wealth of information online through various educational websites, videos, and online courses. This has made learning more interactive and engaging, allowing students to explore topics in depth and at their own pace.Additionally, technology has also revolutionized the way teachers teach. With the help of digital tools such as smart boards, online learning platforms, and apps, teachers can create more dynamic and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles. This has made learning more personalized and effective, leading to improved academic performance among students. However, technology in education is not without its drawbacks. One of the main concerns is the potential for distractions. With the prevalence of smartphones and social media, students may find it difficult to stay focused in the classroom and may be more prone to procrastination.Furthermore, there is also a concern about the digital divide. Not all students have equal access to technology and the internet, which can create inequalities in education. It is important for schools and policymakers to address this issue and ensure that all students have the necessary tools to succeed in the digital age.In conclusion, technology has significantly transformed education for the better. While there are challenges and concerns that come with the integration of technology in education, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. It is essentialfor educators to embrace technology and use it to enhance the learning experience for all students.Overall, the impact of technology on education is undeniable, and it is crucial for schools to adapt and evolve to meet the changing needs of students in the 21st century.。
