Step1 Lead-in
1. Show a flash about the names of jobs
2. Ask: What jobs can you see?
Present student, artist, doctor, teacher, nurse , worker
Step 2 Presentation
To show some pictures about jobs.
1. Different people have different jobs. Look at th is woman. What does she do? What’s her job? She works in a company. She doesn’t work in a factory. She’s an office worker.
2. His woma n works for a company too. But she’s not an office worker. She’s a manager.
3. Other people in the company should listen to her. This man is a postman. Everyday he puts newspapers or letters into people’s postboxes. He works in a post office.
4. What about this man? Is he a postman? No, he’s a policeman. He catches people who do bad things and takes them to the police station.

If you wan t to take some notes while listening, don’t wri te down all the words in a very short time, just write down the first letter or key words.
