本节课的新课内容由谈论不同场合的着装常识展开,引导学生继续学习由疑问词引导的宾语从句和“It’s + adj. + that…”以及“It’s + adj. + (for sb. ) to do sth.”的用法。
着装艺术是学生非常感兴趣和关心的话题,教师应在课前精心设计本节活动内容,准备一些相关的知识链接,让学生充分意识到穿着得体的重要性。

如:Do you know when they will come? 你知道他们什么时候会来吗?2. We usually wear uniforms when we are at work, but sometimes we wear plain clothes to carry out special tasks.我们通常上班期间穿制服,但有时穿便衣执行特殊任务。
(1) plain adj.意为“普通的,家常的〞。
如:plain clothes 便衣;plain people 普通人;a plain meal 一顿便饭(2)carry out意为“执行,实施,履行〞。
如:Let’s carry out the plan!让我们把方案付诸行动吧!3. And our uniforms may stop some people from doing bad things.我们的制服可以防止一些人干坏事。
stop … from doing= keep … from doing … 意为“阻止,防止……做……〞。
如:Don’t stop them from reading English. 别阻止他们读英语。
4. People should dress correctly. 人们应该着装得体。
dress在这里是动词,意为“穿衣服〞。
【辨析】dress, wear, put on(1) wear意为“穿着、戴着〞、指穿戴的状态,后面接表示服装的词,可以用进展时态。
如:She is wearing a red coat. 她穿着一件红色的外色。
(2) put on意为“穿載〞,指穿戴的动作。

教学过程:第一步:复习师生就不同季节穿着情况进行问答,为第二步的呈现做好铺垫,如:Teacher:Do you like wearing shirts (scarves,raincoats,sunglasses,etc)?Students:Yes, I do.Teacher:Will you wear a shirt in winter?Students:Of course not.Teacher:You should wear warm clothes in winter.第二步:呈现1.教师总结复习内容,引出suitable、occasion和1a的课文。

2.复习“It is+adjective+(that)clause”。
3.学习不同体型的着装知识。
教学过程:第一步:复习教师进行链式提问,让学生快速回答,完成1b,为1a的呈现做好铺垫。
如:①Who choose your clothes?②Which colors suit you?③Do you like formal or casual clothes?④Do you like bright or dark clothes?第二步:呈现学生自读1a,并归纳出每一段的中心意思和整篇文章的中心议题,汇报并核对答案。
