一、教学目标:

1. 能够听、说、读、写单词:stamp, coin, postcard, envelope, collect。

2. 能够听、说、读、写短语:stamp collector, coin collector, postcard

collector。

3. 能够用英语表达自己的收集爱好。

4. 培养学生的阅读和写作能力。

二、教学重点:

1. 学习五个新的单词,并了解它们的含义。

2. 通过听力和口语练习掌握短语:stamp collector, coin collector,

postcard collector。

3. 通过阅读文章,培养学生的阅读和写作能力。

三、教学难点:

1. 能够用英语表达自己的收集爱好。

2. 培养学生的阅读和写作能力。

四、教学准备:

1. 教师:PPT,录音机,单词卡片,文章复印件。

2. 学生:文具,课本。

五、教学过程:

Step 1. Warm-up

1. Greet the students and ask them how they are feeling today.

2. Review the previous lesson by asking some questions:

– What did we learn in the last lesson?

– What is your favorite fruit/food/clothes/animal?

Step 2. Presentation

1. Introduce five new words: stamp, coin, postcard, envelope, collect. 2. Show the pictures of the five new words and ask students to repeat

after you.

3. Ask students to make sentences with the new words.

Step 3. Listening

1. Play the recording of the dialogue in Lesson 9.

2. Ask students to listen to the conversation and answer the

questions:

– Who are collecting stamps?

– Who are collecting coins?

– Who are collecting postcards?

3. Play the recording again and ask students to follow along.

Step 4. Speaking

1. Ask students to work in pairs and talk about their collecting

hobbies. Encourage them to use the target words “stamp collector”,

“coin collector” and “postcard collector” in their conversation.

2. Invite some pairs to share their conversation with the class.

Step 5. Reading

1. Give each student a copy of the article about the stamp collector

on the worksheet.

2. Ask students to read the article silently and underline the target

words they have learned.

3. Ask students to read the article again and answer the questions:

– Who is the article about?

– What does he collect?

– How long has he been collecting stamps?

– Why does he like collecting stamps?

Step 6. Writing

1. Ask students to write a short paragraph about their collecting

hobbies using the target words they have learned.

2. Collect some of their paragraphs and read them aloud to the class. Step 7. Summary and Homework

1. Summarize the main points of today’s lesson.

2. Assign homework:

– Review the target words and expressions.

– Write a postcard to your friend using the words you have learned

in this lesson.

– Read the article about the stamp collector again and try to retell

it in your own words.

六、教学评估:

1. 课堂表现评估:表扬学生的听、说、读、写能力,如有表现欠佳的学生可以提出一些针对性的指导建议。

2. 作业评估:查看学生书写的小段落是否用到了本课所学的单词和短语。
