One of the most famous Chinese stories is the legend of the

Monkey King, also known as Sun Wukong.

The story of the Monkey King is a classic tale from the

Chinese novel "Journey to the West," which was written by

Wu Cheng'en during the Ming Dynasty. The novel is based on

the true story of a Buddhist monk, Xuanzang, who traveled

to India to obtain Buddhist scriptures. In the novel,

Xuanzang is accompanied by three disciples, one of whom is

the mischievous and powerful Monkey King.

The Monkey King, whose birth name is Sun Wukong, is a

magical and rebellious creature who possesses incredible

strength and agility. He was born from a stone on the

Mountain of Flowers and Fruit, and he quickly becomes a

skilled fighter and a master of the martial arts. However,

his mischievous nature often gets him into trouble, and he is eventually imprisoned under a mountain by the gods for

causing chaos in heaven.

After being imprisoned for 500 years, the Monkey King

is finally released by Xuanzang, who enlists his help on

the journey to India. Throughout their journey, the Monkey

King uses his magical abilities to protect Xuanzang and his

fellow disciples from various monsters and demons. He also

learns the value of selflessness and compassion, and he

eventually attains enlightenment and becomes a Buddha.

The legend of the Monkey King is a beloved story in

China, and it has been adapted into countless books, films,

and television shows. The character of the Monkey King is

known for his bravery, loyalty, and sense of justice, and

he is often seen as a symbol of resilience and

determination.

In addition to the Monkey King, China is also home to

many other fascinating stories and legends, such as the

legend of Mulan, the story of the Eight Immortals, and the

tale of the White Snake. These stories have been passed down through generations and continue to captivate

audiences around the world.

Overall, the legend of the Monkey King is just one

example of the rich storytelling tradition in China. The

一、引言

核心素养，指学生应具备的能够适应终身发展和社会发展需要的必备品格和关键能力。英语学科的核心素养包括語言能力、思维品质、文化品格和学习能力四个维度。其中文化品格指对中外文化的理解和对优秀文化的认同，是学生在全球化背景下表现出的知识素质、人文修养和行为取向。通过英语课程的学习，学生能获得文化知识，理解文化内涵，比较文化异同，吸收文化精华，形成正确的价值观念和道德情感，自信、自尊、自强，具备一定的跨文化沟通和传播中华优秀文化的能力。

许多老师认为，只有语文课堂才是传承中华优秀传统文化的主要阵地。事实上，英语课堂对中华优秀传统文化的传播也至关重要。中小学英语教师都要深入挖掘英语教材，创新课堂教学模式，从各方面向学生传授中华优秀传统文化，要让学生们了解中国传统文化和历史，增强民族自豪感，做好向世界表达中国的准备。作为基础阶段的小学英语教学，启蒙作用更是必不可少。笔者在多年的小学英语教学中，尝试进行了传统文化的教学和渗透，在这方面进行了一些探索实践。在此，进行一些归纳和总结。

二、小学英语教学渗透传统文化教育的探索实践

1.利用课堂主阵地，日常教学入人心。课堂是教学的主阵地。教师需要把握好课堂，让课堂务实高效。英语课时较少，教师应该有效利用和紧紧抓住课堂的每一秒钟，在日常课堂教学中有机融入传统文化教育，把这些内容穿插于日常的教学过程之中，让学生从点滴中熏陶感染，潜移默化，引导学生关注和了解传统文化就存在于自己的日常生活之中。

（1）Daily talking引思考，知识小点勤积累。充分利用好课前的预备时间，可以让学生迅速进入英语学习状态。在日常教学中，我们常常从daily talking开始一节英语课。常规的做法是聊一聊当天的日期、天气或者最近的新闻趣事等。我们可以从当天日期出发，深入谈一谈当天日子相关知识点，如节气、传统节日以及相应的风俗习惯和传统食品等。每个月的第一天，我会整理好当月的日历，每节课都会向学生展示。根据日历，谈一下当天的日期和天气，如恰到其日，紧接着就展示相关知识点。
