学情分析Writing 旨在训练学生，完成语言的输入性学习和输出性训练的过程，通过reading 和Using language的阅读，结合生活实际，让学生学习写关于a report to the company that built Saturation City的作文。

课堂教学设计Writing task
Write a report to the company that built Saturation City You are expected to design:
Who has the right to go to the education part?
When will the education part be open to the people? Where will the education part be built?
What kind of service will you provide?
What problem will you come across?
How will you solve the problem?
Go back and look at the passage “ Rising to challenge”
Paragraph 1: explains why the report is being written and set out the four ideas to be discussed
Paragraph 2-5: explain ideas 1-4, one in each paragraph and give examples
Paragraph 6 finishes the report with information on how to find out more

Paragraph 1: why I am writing a report
Paragraph 2&3: Entertainment or Sports
Paragraph 4: How I think my ideas will help
Style of writing: formal
Use complete sentences and correct grammar
Don’t use any short phrases or dialogues
Check it over
Show your composition to your partner, ask him/her for advice:
Is it clear? Does it make sense?
Do the ideas follow one after another?
Is there any grammar or spelling mistakes?

Report About Entertainment on No.4 Floating Island, Saturation City
The wonderful facilities in the entertainment center of No.4 Floating Island, Saturation City, mean that the company can offer a full and perfect programme of entertainments. There are all kinds of entertainments of all aspects so that everyone will be able to fully enjoy themselves
All entertainment are offered. If you go to the entertainment center, you can have the chance to practice
dancing, singing and playing musical instruments. Of course, you have the chance to enjoy wonderful concerts by different singers. And also you can enjoy the latest films and TV operas.
The company will organize some perfect performances, we will offer permanent band to play for dancing every night, also we will invite different stage companies to come to our entertainment center to give wonderful plays.
We hope that these programmes and facilities will help you relax yourselves. We hope that you will come and try our entertainment center for yourselves

第一部分：复习本单元重点单词和句型。第二部分：创设教学情境，引出本节课的学习目标。重点教授read and write的内容，通过练习学会如何写好一张简单的便条。第三部分：听力let’s check

Activity #3Give Ss a few minutes to go through the third paragraph and to think over the questions. Get some details on the environment in the future. Encourage them to find out the reasons for the terrible environment.

同时让学生学会过去分词作定语和作状语的不同用法。
