完形填空之记叙文类养成良好的答题习惯，是决定高考英语成败的决定性因素之一。

体裁主要是记人、叙事、写景、状物一类的文章。

记叙文多以人物为中心，以时间或空间为线索，按时间的发生、发展和结束来展开叙述。

近几年的高考完形填空题中的记叙文主要以叙事、记人为主，大多数都富有积极的教育意义，给人以人生的启迪或是充满了生活情趣或人生感悟。

记叙文型完形填空的命题特点可归纳为：（一）句首完整，线索清晰绝大多数文章作者都会用一句话点明人物的姓名、身份或时间发生的时间、地点，然后再逐渐深入介绍事件的发生、发展，最后得出结论。

所以通读句首对于学生了解全篇至关重要。

例如：(2008 全国卷玉) After the birth of my secondchild, I got a job at a restaurant. 首句给出作者生完第二个孩子之后，在餐厅找了一份工作，可以推测本文要讲述作者工作的事，根据语气，可以继续大胆推测本文要讲的是一件幽默的事情。

（二）叙述灵活，侧重语境绝大部分文章是作者在描述事件，较少加入本人的观点或评价。

因此，文章往往会出现态度与观点的跳跃变换，或语气上的差异，这增加了情景的迷惑性和干扰性，从而突出了对语境的依赖。

答题时，学生要理清人物间的关系，把握人物各自所做的事情，斟酌推敲不同人物的细想、性格等细节，从而找准作者的记叙方向，正确题解文章。

（三）以一般过去时为主，其他时态为辅记叙文高考完形填空在以一般过去式为主的同时合理使用丰富多彩的谓语动词时态，使文章所叙述的动作有了层次感和立体感。

（四）以实词为主，虚词为辅记叙文型完形填空的篇幅不长，大约在200-260 个词左右，始终紧扣话题中心，每个小题所给的4 个选项一般都属于相同词类。

错误选项也多半可以和空前、空后文字形成某种搭配，从而起到一定的干扰与迷惑作用。

为了提高试题难度，引导学生从整体上理解文章内容，全面接受信息，备选项多涉及实词，名词、动词、形容词和副词，介词、连词、冠词等虚词的考查相对较少，这样更能体现在语境中考查英语运用能力这一思路。
