1My 6th Grade English Composition Book (with Pictures!)Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 6th grade student. For my English class this year, we have to write compositions and put them together into a book. I'm really excited to share my book with you!Chapter 1: My Summer VacationOver summer break, my family went on an awesome trip to Hawaii! We stayed in Honolulu on the island of Oahu. I had so much fun swimming in the ocean and building sandcastles on the beach. One day, we went snorkeling and I saw tons of colorful fish and other marine life. It was like being in an aquarium, but better because everything was real![Picture: Emma snorkeling in the ocean surrounded by tropical fish]Another highlight was visiting Pearl Harbor and seeing the USS Arizona Memorial. It was very moving to learn about theattack on Pearl Harbor in World War II. I felt proud of the brave American soldiers who fought for our country's freedom.[Picture: The USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor]In the evenings, we liked to go to luaus and watch hula dancing shows. The dances told stories through movement and the costumes were gorgeous. We even got to try foods like poi, lomi lomi salmon, kalua pork, and haupia (coconut pudding)! Hawaiian food is delicious.[Picture: Hula dancers performing at a luau]Overall, I had an unforgettable summer immersed in the beautiful Hawaiian culture. I can't wait to go back someday!Chapter 2: The First Day of SchoolMy summer vacation seemed to fly by, and before I knew it, it was time to go back to school. I was really nervous about starting 6th grade because I didn't know anyone in my classes. Would I be able to make new friends? Would the work be too hard? I had a million worries running through my mind.[Picture: Emma looking nervous while walking into school]When I walked into my first class, English, I noticed a few familiar faces from last year. Phew! I chose an empty seat next toJessica, a nice girl I knew from 5th grade. We started catching up and I introduced myself to the new students around us. One of them, Ethan, was really into reading and writing like me. By the end of that class period, I already felt more comfortable. In math class later that day, the teacher had us play icebreaker games to get to know each other. I was paired up with a boy named Alex for one of the games. At first, we didn't have much to talk about. But then he mentioned that he was really into coding and video games. My eyes lit up because those are some of my hobbies too! We ended up chatting the whole class period about our favorite games.[Picture: Emma and Alex smiling and talking together during math class]As I rode the bus home that afternoon, I reflected on my first day. While it had definitely been intimidating at first, I realized that making friends in 6th grade might not be so hard after all. I just had to be brave, stay positive, and be myself. I can't wait for more adventures this year!Chapter 3: The Big Science FairAbout halfway through the school year, my science teacher announced that we would all be participating in the schoolscience fair. We had to come up with our own experiments, document the process, and present our findings to judges. I had never done anything like this before, so I was really excited and a bit nervous![Picture: Emma looking worried but curious while brainstorming science fair project ideas]First, I needed to choose a topic that interested me. After lots of brainstorming, I settled on testing which household liquids conducted electricity the best. I spent a few weeks researching and developing my hypothesis. Then it was time to get experimenting! For my experiment, I made a simple circuit with a battery, some wires, and a light bulb. I collected different liquids like water, soda, juice, and vinegar. One by one, I put each liquid in a cup and stuck the wires in to see if the circuit would light up. I documented all my observations and results in a lab notebook.[Picture: Emma's science fair project setup with the circuit, liquids, and notebook]After analyzing my data, I discovered that soda conducted electricity the best out of all the liquids I tested. This was likelybecause of the carbonation and sugar content providing better conductivity than plain water. What an interesting finding! Finally, it was the big science fair day at school. I put together a presentation board explaining my experiment from start to finish. I also showed video clips from my trials and shared my notebook with judges. While I was nervous presenting in front of everyone, it ended up being really fun![Picture: Emma proudly presenting her science fair project to judges]The experience taught me so much about the science process: asking questions, constructing hypotheses, testing variables, collecting data, and sharing discoveries. Best of all, I took home a blue ribbon! All that hard work paid off. Science rocks!Chapter 4: The Best Birthday EverRight around when spring began, it was time to celebrate my 12th birthday. My mom always makes my birthday really special by throwing me a fun themed party with games, activities, snacks, and more. This year, she outdid herself with an awesome "mad science" party![Picture: Mad science birthday party scene with science-y decorations]When my friends arrived, they received their ownkid-friendly lab coats and safety goggles. How cool is that? The party space was decorated to look just like a real laboratory. There were beakers, test tubes, petri dishes, and molecular models everywhere you looked. For the first activity, we got to make our own "flubber" (gooey gunk) by mixing together solutions and ingredients like glue, borax, and food coloring. It was so satisfying to knead and stretch the flubber once it formed. After that, we played a game where we had to build towers using only dry spaghetti noodles and marshmallows. My tower ended up being the tallest![Picture: Kids at the party molding flubber and building noodle towers]Next up was the highlight of the party: SLIME! We followed a recipe to make huge vats of slimy, gooey, stretchy, oozing slime. My friends and I had a full-on slime fight that left us (and the party room) an absolute mess. But it was totally worth it for those deliciously gooey memories.[Picture: The slime fight aftermath! Kids covered head-to-toe in green slime]When it was time for cake and presents, we indulged in sweet treats and I got to open a mountain of science-themed gifts like a VR chemistry set, a telescope, and lots of experiment kits. It was easily the most fun birthday party ever! My friends and I were already dreaming up mad science shenanigans for next year. That about wraps up my 6th grade English composition book. Writing these stories and documenting my experiences has been an awesome creative outlet. I loved being able to express myself through words and pictures. Maybe I'll become a writer, illustrator, or journalist someday? For now, I'm just an ordinary kid making the most of my school days and all the adventures that come with them. Thanks for reading!篇2My 6th Grade English Essay Collection with Pictures! My Favorite Video GameOne of my favorite hobbies is playing video games. My #1 favorite game right now is Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It's anopen world adventure where you can catch lots of different Pokémon and explore the Hisui region.![Pokémon game screenshot][]I really like catching the cute Pokémon like Pikachu, Eevee, and Piplup. But I also think the legendary Pokémon like Arceus and Dialga look super cool and powerful. My dream is to someday catch them all and become a Pokémon Master! My Awesome Summer VacationThis past summer, my family took an amazing trip to Hawaii. We stayed in Honolulu on the island of Oahu. We spent lots of time at the beach swimming, snorkeling, and building sandcastles. ![Family at Waikiki Beach][]One of the coolest things we did was go on a helicopter tour over the island. We got to see waterfalls, mountains, and even an active volcano from high up in the air. The views were breathtaking!![Helicopter tour][]We also went on a submarine ride underwater to see the coral reefs and tropical fish. At the Polynesian Cultural Center, I learned how to do hula dancing and watched an amazing fire dancing show. Overall it was the best family vacation ever!My Dream JobWhen I grow up, I want to be a marine biologist. I love learning about all the different creatures that live in the ocean like sharks, whales, dolphins, and sea turtles. It would be so cool to get to study them up close for a living.![Marine biologist][]One of my favorite places is the aquarium because you can see so many neat ocean animals. I could spend hours watching the jellyfish drifting around and the schools of fish swimming together.![Jellyfish tank][]As a marine biologist, I would want to help protect endangered species and keep the oceans clean and healthy for all the plants and animals. Hopefully I can make a difference and stop pollution and overfishing. I can't wait to go scuba diving and explore the underwater world! That's my dream job when I'm older. But for now, I'll keep learning more about the oceans and playing in the waves whenever I can! That's my collection of 6th grade English essays. I had fun writing about my favorite things like video games, vacations, and my future goals. I hope you enjoyed reading my essays and looking at the pictures!篇3My 6th Grade English Essay Collection (With Pictures!)Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share my collection of English essays from 6th grade. This year has been really fun and I've learned so much! Let me show you some of my favorite essays.Favorite Animal (310 words)One of my favorite animals is the elephant. Elephants are the largest land animals on Earth! Can you believe an adult elephant weighs around 6 tons? That's as heavy as 6 cars! Despite their massive size, elephants are actually very gentle giants.Elephants are incredibly intelligent creatures. Their brains weigh about 5 kg which is the largest brain of any land animal. They are able to use tools, show emotions, learn complex behaviors, mimic sounds, and even have excellent memories. Wild elephants can remember locations of waterholes over vast distances across the African savanna.Elephants live in very close family groups led by a matriarch, who is the oldest and often largest female elephant. The babies, called calves, have to rely entirely on their mothers for the first few years of life as they can't use their trunks properly until much later. Baby elephants are just so cute and cuddly looking!Sadly, many elephant populations are endangered due to illegal poaching for their ivory tusks and loss of habitat from expanding human settlements. It's really important that we protect these amazing animals before they disappear forever. Just imagine how empty the world would feel without elephants roaming the plains and forests. We have to keep them around for our children and grandchildren to enjoy![Picture: A family of elephants walking together]My Dream Job (270 words)When I grow up, I want to be a video game designer! I've loved playing video games ever since I was very little. My favorite games let me explore new worlds, solve puzzles, and battle powerful enemies. Games let you use your creativity in amazing ways.As a game designer, I could come up with the coolest characters, levels, and stories. Maybe I would make a game where you get to be a brave knight on an quest to slay an evil dragon. Or a astronaut exploring distant planets in another galaxy. The possibilities are endless!Games also require a lot of programming to make them work properly. I'm already starting to learn some coding which ispretty fun once you get the hang of it. It's like giving the computer instructions, kind of like a secret language. As a game designer, I could write the code that brings my wildest dreams to life right on the screen.Of course, making a hit video game takes a lot of hard work from a big team of designers, artists, programmers, and lots of other roles. I would love to be the lead designer and work with other talented people to make games that everybody loves playing. Who knows, maybe I could create the next Mario, Zelda, or Minecraft one day! No matter what, I want to make games that are imaginative and give people an amazing experience.[Picture: Examples of fun video game characters]My Hometown (330 words)I was born and raised in a small town called Willowbrook. Even though it's not a huge city, I really love living here. Willowbrook has that cozy, friendly feeling where it seems like everybody knows each other. I've made so many great memories exploring the town over the years.Right in the center of Willowbrook is the old town square with a beautiful fountain in the middle. I'll never forget going there as a kid to watch the ducks swimming around while myparents ran errands. There are lots of little shops surrounding the square like a family-owned bakery that makes the most delicious cookies. Every summer there's also an outdoor market where local farmers sell fresh fruits and veggies.A few blocks away is Willowbrook Park which has hiking trails, playgrounds, and a creek that's perfect for splashing around on hot days. The park is right next to the public library too. I have so many happy memories of walking there with my mom to check out books and participate in the summer reading program. To this day, that library is still my favorite place to read and study. The neighborhoods in Willowbrook are lined with huge oak trees and cute little houses. Every year neighbors go all out decorating for Halloween and Christmas. During Halloween we have an amazing neighborhood costume parade and during Christmas the lights displays are breathtaking. Our neighbors become like extra aunts and uncles who always make you feel welcome.Of course living in a small town does have its downsides too. There's not much to do some nights and you kind of feel like you've experienced everything a million times already. But I still love Willowbrook and all the fun community events and knowingyour neighbors so well. For now, it's hard to imagine wanting to leave this place![Picture: A cozy small town scene of Main St. shops, park, and houses]Well, that's a little preview of my essay collection! Writing in English is a lot of work but so much fun. It lets you be creative and share your thoughts and experiences with others. I'm going to keep working hard to become an awesome writer. Maybe I'll have my own book published one day!篇4My 6th Grade English TextbookHi there! I'm so excited to tell you all about the awesome English textbook we use in 6th grade. It's called "Horizons" and it's filled with cool stories, activities, and pictures that make learning English super fun! Let me give you a tour through its pages. The textbook is really colorful and has this neat image of a hot air balloon on the cover. I think it represents how reading and learning can take your imagination to new heights and horizons. Isn't that a creative idea? When you open it up, the first few pages have these cartoon characters who become your English buddies. There's Alex the athletic fox, Zara the artistic zebra, and Momo the musical monkey. They guide you through each unit and make lessons way more entertaining.Every unit focuses on a different real-world theme that I can totally relate to, like family, school life, holidays, or our environment. The passages we read are either fun stories about the cartoon characters or cool facts about places around the world. Lots of times the stories are like comics or have speech bubbles, which I think is an awesome way to learn dialogue. But it's not just reading - there are tons of activities to practice your skills too. We do listen and speak sections where we hear recordings and have conversations. The writing activities are great brain exercisers where we might have to describe a scene, write a skit, or create an advertisement. My favorites are probably the vocab games and puzzles that reinforce new words in a really engaging way. What else? Oh yeah, I can't forget the vibrant images and photos throughout! Whether it's a picture of some famous landmark we're learning about or an illustrated scene from astory, the visuals make everything more alive and memorable. They definitely add extra sparks of creativity.Every few units, we even get fun corpus lessons that teach us expressions and idioms that native English speakers actually use. Those pages have amusing cartoons that stick those phrases in your brain for life. You'll be saying "Piece of cake!" before you know it.I probably shouldn't give away too many spoilers, but I can share one of the units I loved. It was all about community helpers and people with different jobs and careers. We read passages about firefighters, doctors, teachers, and more. Then we had to imagine our own dream job and create a poster displaying the roles and responsibilities. I made mine about becoming a video game designer!Honestly, there's just so much packed into this textbook. Every unit promises new adventures in English learning. I can't wait to dive into the next chapters and take my skills to new horizons!Does that give you a taste of what our 6th grade English book is like? With its engaging characters, real-life themes, diverse activities, vivid visuals, and sprinkles of humor throughout, "Horizons" makes gaining English mastery a totalblast. I'm really lucky my teachers picked such a fun, comprehensive, and imaginative textbook for us to explore this year. Here's to many more linguistic journeys!篇56th Grade English Essays with PicturesHello friends! Are you ready for some fun English essays? I've got a bunch of great stories and pictures to share with you all. Let's dive right in!My Summer VacationLast summer, my family took an amazing trip to the beach! We stayed in a cute little beach house right by the ocean. Every morning, I would wake up and run outside to feel the warm sand between my toes. The salty ocean air smelled so refreshing. I spent hours building gigantic sandcastles and jumping over the waves crashing onto the shore. My little brother and I had a blast burying Dad in the sand until he looked like a big sandy monster! In the evenings, we would roast marshmallows around the bonfire pit and watch the beautiful sunset paint the sky in shades of pink, orange, and purple. Seagulls flew overhead, calling out to each other. I never wanted that vacation to end![Picture: A family playing on the beach, building a sandcastle]My Favorite BookOne of my all-time favorite books is Charlotte's Web by E.B. White. It's a story about a cute little pig named Wilbur who gets rescued from being killed by a kind little girl named Fern. Wilbur gets to live on the farm and becomes best friends with a super intelligent spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur finds out he might get killed for food, Charlotte decides to help by weaving words into her web to trick the farmer into thinking Wilbur is a special pig. It's such a heartwarming tale of friendship and loyalty. I've read it over and over again! Charlotte is so brave and clever to do everything she can to protect her friend Wilbur. The book reminds me that true friends will always have your back, no matter what.[Picture: Charlotte the spider weaving words into her web above Wilbur the pig]My Favorite SportSoccer is hands down my favorite sport! I started playing when I was just 5 years old on a local kids' team. At first, I wasn't very good and spent most of the time chasing butterflies insteadof the ball. But over time, I fell in love with the thrill of dribbling the ball downfield, making passes to teammates, and attempting to score goals. There's nothing quite like the feeling of kicking that ball as hard as you can and watching it soar into the back of the net! These days, I play soccer almost every day after school either in my backyard or at the park with friends. We get pretty competitive and creative, setting up lanes to dribble through and bringing out the portable goals. I've definitely improved a ton and am thinking of trying out for the school team next year. Win or lose, soccer is just so much fun to play. You get great exercise while being part of a team and making awesome memories with your buddies.[Picture: Kids playing soccer on a field, celebrating after scoring a goal]Helping the EnvironmentOur planet Earth is incredible and provides us with everything we need to survive like food, water, and air to breathe. But humans haven't been doing a very good job of taking care of it lately. We produce way too much trash that ends up polluting the oceans and harming animals. Factories release fumes thatdirty the air and contribute to climate change. Chopping down too many trees is destroying wildlife habitats. That's why it's so important for all of us to do our part to be more environmentally friendly. At home, my family is really good about recycling paper, plastic, glass and metal. We also try to reduce waste by using reusable water bottles and shopping bags instead of single-use plastics. I've also started a little garden in our backyard to grow some of our own fruits and veggies. Planting gardens and trees is great for reducing our carbon footprint. At school, we have a "Green Team" club where we do things like pick up litter around the campus and community, organize recycling efforts, and spread awareness about environmental issues. I joined last year and had so much fun working on these projects with my classmates. Taking steps to protect our planet can seem small, but they add up to make a huge difference for generations to come. The Earth is our home and we need to take better care of it![Picture: Kids picking up litter at a park, recyclingbottles/cans, planting a tree]Well, that's a wrap on my English essay collection! I hope you enjoyed reading my stories and looking at the pictures. Learningand writing in English is a blast. Keep practicing and you'll be an English master in no time! Thanks for reading, friends!篇6My Awesome 6th Grade YearHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 6th grader. This year has been the best yet! I've had so much fun learning new things and making new friends. Let me tell you all about it!![A drawing of a smiling student][]First up, my favorite subject this year was definitely science. We got to do all sorts of cool experiments! One time we made little rockets out of film canisters and launched them across the classroom. It was a blast (get it??)! We also learned about the human body, which was fascinating and maybe a little gross at times. Did you know that your small intestine is over 20 feet long if you stretched it out? Wild!In English class, we read some excellent books like "Holes" and "The Giver." I enjoyed analyzing the characters and themes. My teacher also had us write a ton, including short stories, poems, and persuasive essays. Writing is one of my strengths, soI really shined there. We even got to share our creative works by performing them for the class!![A stack of books][]Of course, no school year would be complete without the socializing! I made a new best friend named Samantha. We clicked right away over our shared love of reading, music, and goofing around. We're total opposites in other ways though - she's a total math whiz while I lean more towards English and history. Friends really do balance each other out! There were definitely some not-so-fun parts of 6th grade too. Pre-algebra was just...the worst. I'm more of a words person than a numbers person. And don't even get me started on trying to open those impossible locker combinations! I must have been late to class a million times from struggling with my locker.![A locker with a lock][]Even with a few bumps along the way, this was an awesome year of growing and learning. I got my braces off, went to my first dance, and started finding my true interests and strengths. I'm really coming into my own now. Just wait until you see what I accomplish in 7th grade - it's going to be even more epic!。

I’m Litao. I’m a Chinese boy. I visited London with my parents last week. I went to the street. But I was lost. I didn’t find the King Hotel. I met an old man. I asked him “Where is the King Hotel?” The old man said “Go straight and then turn left at the corner.” I said “Thank you very much.” Then I found the King Hotel.
并且决定在周末开个晚会,我将买一些食物和饮料,Lisa and Tony 将布置教室,Jenny and Ben 将打扫卫生,每个人都会很忙….There was a basketball match in our school after school yesterday afternoon. Our class won the match. We were very tired. But we were very excited, too. We are going to have a party at the weekend. I wil buy some food and some drink. Lisa and Tony will decorate the classroom. Jenny and Ben will clean it up. Every will be very busy.
