关于吸血鬼的英文故事Once upon a time, in a small village deep in the forest, a group of people lived in fear of a vampire who had been terrorizing them for years. They said that the creature would only come out at night, flying through the air with bat-like wings and preying on anyone foolish enough to venture out into the darkness.Bethany was a brave and curious girl who didn't believe in monsters, so she decided to go out into the forest at night to catch a glimpse of the vampire. She armed herself with a wooden stake and a silver crucifix, figuring that these tools would protect her from any harm.At first, Bethany saw nothing but trees and moonlight in the dimly-lit woods. But as she wandered deeper into the forest, she heard the flutter of wings and a haunting, mournful cry. But she was surprised to find that the creature didn't seem interested in hurting her. Instead, it spoke to her in a soft, sad voice."I am not the monster you think I am," the vampire said. "All I want is to be loved and accepted for who I am. But humans fear what they don't understand, and so they hunt and despise me." Bethany listened to the vampire's story, feeling a mix of fear and sympathy. She realized that she had been wrong to assume that all vampires were evil creatures who preyed on the innocent. Thevampire before her seemed more like a lonely, misunderstood soul.From that day on, Bethany visited the vampire every night, bringing him small gifts and treats. She learned that his name was Alexander, and that he had once been a man like her until he was bitten by another vampire and transformed.Over time, Bethany and Alexander became good friends, and the villagers no longer feared the creature in the forest. Though many of them still didn't understand Alexander and his kind, Bethany knew that at least one person had come to see the humanity within the vampire.。

Good morning, everyone! My name is FXH. Before I start my presentation, I want to give you some pictures to see. When you see these pictures, maybe you have guessed what I want to say today. Yes, my topic is vampire, I will introduce vampires today.There are about four parts: In the first part, I will introduce what is a vampire. In the second part, I will introduce the origin of the vampires. The third part tell you the characteristics and features of the vampires. At last, I will introduce some movies and TV plsys that I have seen before.What is a vampire?Vampires are legendary[传说的] creatures said to subsist by feeding on the life essence[精髓，本质] of living creatures, generally by drinking their blood.Although they typically described as undead, some minor traditions believed in vampires that were living people. In other words, vampires are the creatures that feed on with blood.Let’s see Part2 :the origin of the vampires. It’s said that Cain killed his brother because of jealousy. So God punished Cain must eat the blood of the living to exist, never die but staff the curse of the human.Because of loneliness, Cain created his descendants, the Vampire Ⅱ. Then the Vampire Ⅱcreated 13 descendants, the Vampire Ⅲ. The 13 members of Vampire Ⅲ killed the Vampire Ⅱ, and founded their own clans and held strong powers. Thousands of years later, the vampires have increased to 15th-16th genration. And a series of works about vampires have come out such as novels and movies.The next part is about the features of the vampires. First, as for the appearance, the vampires have pale face, red eyes and long and sharp canines.Vampires usually use teeth cut into the neck of the victim to draw blood. In the normal state they can hide some features , such as red eyes and canine teeth, which has become one of the most important features of the vampires. So they can live near people. However, people can’t distinguish them in the daily life. The second feature is about lifestyle. They Sleep in coffin or graveyard. And their food is blood, they are Bloodsucking. If they can’t get enough blood, they will become mummifications and fall into sleep. Once they get blood again, they can wake up. And the vampires also fear of the sun. They can’t go out during the day. When they were irradiated[照射] by the sun, their skin will be cauterized[灼伤]. But When they get the rings made by witches, they can go out anytime and any where. The vampires also fear of fire. Then, I will show some special abilities of the vampires. Their recovery time is very sho rt , so general weapons can’t hurt them.Vampires’ speed and response are very fast. Theycan move quickly. And their bodies are exploding with power. They can hear things from far away and see through the darkness. But they c an’t go into a house without the host’s or living people’s invitation. Like Chinese ghost, they have no shadow. The vampires fear of a plant named “vervain”, it called “马鞭草” in Chinese. I download some pictures about vervain. The last feature, I will talk about “How to kill a vampire?” Usually, there are two methods: use a wooden stick, pierce into the vampire’s heart or use fire to burn.In the part4, I show some movies and TV plays about vampires. The most famous movie is Twilight Series. It contains four sections, Twilight（暮色）New moon（新月）Eclipse（月食）Breaking Dawn（破晓）.It is a love story about a vampire Edward and a human girl Bella. This is Edward, he is the hero of the film, he loves Bella, and protect her always. This is Bella, at first ,she’s a human girl, Bella has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her high school. But at last, she becomes a vampire in order to born a baby girl. This is Jacob, he is a werewolf, he also loves Bella, maybe he is Bella’s knight.As for TV plays, I want to introduce “The Vampire Diary”. The Vampire Diary is an American television series. It contains eight seasons. And now it is playing the eighth season, the end season. When I was a college student, I saw The Vampire Diary every Friday. I have seen six seasons, but I didn’t see it recently. The series follows the events in the town of Mystic Falls. The main focus of the series is the love triangle between the Elena Gilbert and Stefan and Damon. The series also focuses on the lives of Elena’s friends and other inhabitants of the town. In a word, the relationship between them is very complicated. Here are some pictures of every seasons, from these pictures, we can see that the leading roles are changing with the development of the story plot. I introduce some leading roles briefly. Elena is a seventeen-year-old girl who lives in Mystic Falls, and is the main protagonist of the series. At first, I don’t like her, I think she is very sentimental, it means “矫情” in Chinese. But after she became a vampire, she changed a lot. She also acts as Katherine, a very old, selfish vampire. She has bond with Elena and she always loved Stefan more than Damon. Elena is the doppelganger of Katherine, they have same apperance but they are different guys. The vampire brothers, the left one is Stefan, younger brother, a moral and benevolent vampire . He is a 150 years old vampire who was transformed（转化）by Katherine in 1864. He has been a crazy vampire. But now he changed and fall in love. The right one is Damon, He is so handsome that many girl love him very much . He is the bad guy in manypeople’s eyes. But as the season progressed, more and more people are attracted by him. He also loves Elane. but he doesn’t have the cour age to chase her at first . So the only thing he can do is protect his princess from getting hurt by others . Caroline, A vampire, she was turned by Damon. She is one of Elena’s best friends. I like her, she is open, outgoing and kind. She is a good girl. Bonnie is a witch. She posses magic power. When she touched people on their arm or hand, she gets a vision about the past. She is a justice girl, she loves Elane, and hates vampires. Jeremy is Elane’s brother, he is rebel because of his parents’ death. He fell in love with Bonnie later. There is a love triangle between Elane, Damon and Stefan, at first Elane loved Stefan, after she was transformed by Damon, she fell in love with him. But after six seasons, she slept. In the newer two seasons, she didn’t appeare, she wasn’t a leading role in the TV play. That’s the introduction of the vampire diary. Another TV play I like is Originals, it’s a spin-off of The Vampire Diary, it tells about the first generation of vampires. If you are interested in vampires, you can see it. Why are vampires more and more popular ?Maybe you think they are handsome and beautiful. Maybe you want to have special abilities like them, maybe just think they are mysterious, Or you are under great pressure, and just for fun. That’s all, Thank you.。
