这本书分三大章，三章分别是五部小说，第一部是《时间机器》，第二部是《隐身人》，第三部是《第一个登上月球的人》，最主要的就是《时间机器》这一部小说。

《时间机器》主要讲了主人公“时间旅行者”乘着自制的“时间机器”，魔界隧道飞到了公元802701年，这时的世界物产丰饶，人类人类分化成了两种截然不同的哺乳动物，一种是脆弱娇小的埃洛伊矮小人，他们悠闲地生活在地面上的豪华宫殿中，养尊处优，饱食终日。

由于长期不劳作，不思考，智力和体力退化。

另一种是桀骜不驯粗野，形如狐猴的莫洛克人，他们生活在黑暗漆黑的地下世界，整日在隆隆的机器旁劳动，养肥埃洛伊人供自己误食。

之后之前时间旅行者又飞到了几百万年之后，那时的世界满目疮夷，人类灭绝，只剩下白色的白色海螺和巨型螃蟹。

后来，时间旅行者费尽千辛万苦回到了自己的世界。

可是，当他成功进行下一次旅行时，他就再也没有回来了。

看著埃洛伊人和莫洛克人的关系。

联想到我们的生活之中，对比一下就会发现，埃不会洛伊人不就是好吃懒做的一类人吗？而莫洛克人不就是辛苦工作的一群人吗？也就是说，《时间机器》这本书影射了当时澳大利亚的社会现象。

这个故事也从另外一个方面方面表示我们，如果不想像艾洛伊人那样，就要多运动，多思考，不让自己退化。

试想一下，如果人没有了思考能力，那会怎么样？科技就不会进步，世界就不会发展。

就像我们小学生在做题时，如果整夜都抄答案的话，时间一久，你也不会做了。

《时间机器》读书心得奴性是没有了独立的人性，有奴性的人甚至开始吃同伴，同时他们也很怕光。

故事，以另外一种形式阐述的。

作者想要阐述自己对宇宙的认知，他率先提出了，宇宙的其他地方也存在和我们一样的文明，同时这也开创了一个新的科幻时代。

精彩绝伦的旅行，充满着危险。

希尔亚先生的视角让我们更好的了解了时间旅行者这个人物。

但是也是不可更改的。

这本书反射的就是我们早晚要面对的现实，对于我们赖以生存的地球。

爱洛伊人就像那些事不关己高高挂起的人，对于几百年的末日漠不关心，自己是面临不到就不去考虑，尽情的享用能够享用的资源，而莫洛克人就是那些明明知道自己对地球的危害，但是还是去照常破坏，不管是对自己的伤害，还是对别人的加害。

最终都会导致地球的未来不忍直视。

时间旅行者在一次一次的旅行中，明显是对这通晓的，但是第二次他还是毅然决然的踏进时光机器，最后却再也没有回来。

他对妻子的爱，还是对人类的担忧，都让他有了勇气面对未来的未知与恐怖。

从结局来看，不是最美满的。

但是这种给人遐想的结局反而更美好，可以让我们自由地去想象。

也让我们懂得，信念的力量很大，未来无论多么不可控，但是有了坚定的信念，未来还是一片光明。

除此之外，《时间机器》让我印象深刻的就是地球人与月球人对战的情节。

在敌众我寡的情况下，凯沃和贝德福德还是赢了这场战争。

以我之见，他们取得胜利的主要原因是他们在自信与策略上做的很好，他们能相当准确地把握出击与躲藏的时机。

这样使他们所受的伤害降到了最低，同时也让地方浪费了很多矛。
