Taobao online shopping guide
China produces a lot of stuff, but most of the brick-and-mortar retail selections are pretty poor. Unless you need green tea or a DVD, you might be out of luck trying to find it in a store. All comodities from all over the world are on the small screen of your computer and there wiil be no more strenuous bargains, fatigued shopping feet. So just Taobao it!
1. Sign up for a Taobao Account.
2. Check the Seller Feedback
Scroll down into your results and click on the products that look good. On the product page, look here and make sure that the Seller is highly rated. A good rule of thumb is at least 99% feedback on more than 500 transactions. (In the image below, the seller has 100% feedback on 949 transactions.)
3. Click the Orange Buy It Now! Button
4. Add a Shipping Address
Click the button circled in green below to enter your shipping address. Use Chinese for the street address if you can

Find the Perfect Treasure with Search Filters

1. Category
The first filtering opportunity is with the product category. These text links display all the categories and subcategories that have results matching your search term. Click on any of them to see only things in that category.
