Filled with books, photographs, and objects from 2013, the capsule is intended to give people in the future an idea of what life was like at that time. It also contains letters from students in which they describe their daily lives and make predictions about the future. Transport seems to be a particularly popular topic, with one student predicting that people will use hovercrafts(气垫船)instead of cars to get around. An even more futuristic idea is roads and streets moving automatically like conveyor belts.读写任务:A possible version:The article introduces Xue Yifan and Song Jiazhe, two recent university graduates who chose to study less popular and financially rewarding courses, simply because they loved the subject.I believe the study decisions made by Xue and Song are both correct and wise. Interest rather than popularity should be the most important factor when choosing a major. Since university study usually prepares you for your future job, you should take up something you are really passionate about. This way you will be happy in your job for many years, because you love what you do. Study majors go in and out of fashion. Nothing is popular forever, so popularity shouldn’t be the deciding issue. As for me, I would probably choose to major in paleontology like Xue Yifan. I’ve loved dinosaur fossils since elementary school. While my friends played with dolls, I collected rocks. Personally, I don’t think paleontology is a dull subject that only deals with old rocks. Instead, studying ancient fossils enables us to better understand the past, which helps to deal with the present.(二)1~5: BCCAA 6~10: DBAAC 11~15: DBDBC16. on 17.the 18. With the aim of informing more people about this rare disease and raising funds for research, the challenge required participants to post videos of themselves pouring ice water over their heads, online. It drew widespread attention at home and abroad in the summer of 2014. People from all walks of life, ranging from film stars and politicians to athletes and businessmen, took up the challenge. According to the latest news, more than a hundred million dollars of donation has been raised so far.读写任务:A possible version:Charity activities are getting more varied and fun, such as Rose Nose Day in the UK, where celebrities appear on TV and at other live events to raise money for the poor at home and in Africa. From my perspective, adding fun to a diversity of charitable activities makes a great difference. It attracts more people to take part and draws more social and media attention. At the same time it provides the participants with a memorable experience. In an effort to give a helping hand to those in need, I once joined a teaching program organized by our School Students’ Union. It provided lessons to children in an orphanage. After class, we told interesting stories to them and played games together. Besides, together with other Union members, I delivered newspapers and food to the elderly in our community. Thanks to these activities, I have become outgoing and sociable and what’s more, I am now more confident and independent, which will be of great help to my future career. What matters most is that I realize many people are badly in need of our care and attention. Charity has helped me to cherish what I have and try as much as I can to help.。

A child is born into a family and becomes a part of the society later. There have to be certain principles in place to determine one’s behavior and ensure a harmonious society. My family values were primarily shaped by my mother. As a child, she always reminded me to be punctual and to work harder. But her greatest gift was teaching me the importance of honesty. She taught me that mistakes in life were unavoidable, but I should never sacrifice my honesty to cover for my mistakes.Honesty has been with me ever since. In my friendships, I’m always willing to admit to errors and never pretend to be all-knowing. That’s why many friends come to me for help. They know I’ll be straight-forward and tell them the truth, not only the things they want to hear. As my mother said: “When we’re honest, we earn others’ trust and society’s credit”.附2:评分说明(主观题部分)语法填空评分说明:按照所给答案给分。

The ice bucket challenge was originally started by Pete Frates, an athlete whose sports career was stopped by the disease ALS. Charity activities are getting more varied and fun, such as Rose Nose Day in the UK, where celebrities appear on TV and at other live events to raise money for the poor at home and in Africa.
