Y ou just show us our money, Faraday!Fifty-two cards.- Pick a card. - We ain't playing no game.Y ou've got the drop on me. Man, you ain't no magic man. That's not it? Hold on.Quit playing around before I blow your goddamn head off. Remember the plan, Earl. I get to kill him.Y ou didn't let me finish.Y our card was the king of hearts, right? Is this your card? Now, you see? That was worth it, wasn't it?- That was kind of good. - Pretty good. That was...No, you just killed my brother.- Should I kill you? - No. Please.Would you like to see another magic trick? No.Y eah. It's called The Incredible...No.Disappearing...Ear.My ear!We are never gonna cross paths again. Please don't kill me.Keep your money, please.I didn't want to kill him.He shouldn't have touched my guns. The only way in is the valley floor, and the main road in and out is to the west.Where's the mine?Here.- And where's Bogue? - Sacramento.Back in less than three weeks. And how many men you say you got left in town?Forty, maybe.Farmers. Not fighters.Y ou understand what it means when you start something like this?We did not start this, Mr. Chisolm. What are you waiting on? Just get him under control.Spend all night at the saloon, and then you can't even control a silly horse. Come on, lad, get in there!Silly horse? That's a stallion. His name's Jack, and he's killed men before, so he oughta be careful.- Easy, easy, easy! - I require my horse back. That horse. Two days past.Y our horse against my Irish whiskey.Behind the saloon rolling dice. That, sir, is a lie. A complete, absolute...Good Lord.- Easy. - I thought that was a dream.I thought you were a leprechaun. That was real?I was mistaken. I would like to buy my horse back.Though I am light of funds at the moment.So...Seems we have ourselves a Mexican standoff, only between an Irishman and a Baptist, and I'm not sure how that ends. With you walking awaywithout your horse. Now, why'd you have to go and touch your gun for?We were in the middle of a gentlemen's negotiation.Come on!How much for his horse?$25 for the horse.Seven and two bits for the saddle. Our paths cross again. To what do I owe the pleasure?Come on.Took a job. Y ou intend to get that reward? - That depends. Got a business proposition for you.Well, does this business involve her?Y es, it does.Get me out of here! Let me out of here!Y ou wipe that smile off your face.Laugh now. Get it outta your system. After our business is concluded, what then? There'll still be a lot of men after your hide.- And that should give me comfort? - Should.I won't be one of 'em.Y ou're loco, my friend.Let me tell you the game.- Go on, now! - Fastest gun wins.Winner take all.Hope you've all put your bets down.Arcade.Billy Rocks. On my gun.Y eah, how about that, boys?- That's good. - That was pretty good, huh?- Billy wins. - What? Are you blind? Billy, you like it here?Y eah.- How'd y'all meet? - How did we meet, Billy?I was serving a warrant on him for the Northern Pacific Railroad. Warrant for what? Killing a man with a hairpin? Now, now, you're gonna have to pay for that. That is funny. Here's what it is.I found Billy down in an old redneck saloon in Texas, and all these good ol' boys, they didn't want to serve Billy's kind, all right? So this petite son of a bitch took on the whole room bare-knuckled.I watched in awe, and I said to myself,"Goodnight, this is not a man to arrest, this is a man to befriend."- Y ou make your living off of his alley fights? - Equal shares. Between fights, Goody helps me navigate the white man's prejudices.I keep him employed, and he keeps me on the level.Well, Mr. Chisolm told us to come fetch you,but he didn't say anything about your friend over there. 我最喜欢的英雄孙悟空英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Here's an essay about my favorite hero Sun Wukong, written from the perspective of an elementary school student in English with around 2000 words:My Favorite Hero, Sun WukongHi, my name is Tommy, and I'm going to tell you about my favorite hero, Sun Wukong! He's the coolest and most awesome monkey king from the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West." Get ready for an exciting adventure!Sun Wukong is a super powerful monkey who was born from a magic stone on the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit. He has amazing abilities like being able to transform into different shapes, fly with his magic cloud, and use his powerful staff to fight evil monsters. The best part? He's super mischievous and loves playing tricks on people! When Sun Wukong was a little monkey, he learned incredible martial arts skills from the great teacher, Subhuti. He became the strongest and bravest monkey in the entire monkeykingdom. But you know what? He was so cheeky that he even changed his name to "Great Sage, Equal to Heaven" because he thought he was as powerful as the gods! One day, Sun Wukong decided to go on an adventure and traveled to the Eastern Jade Emperor's palace in Heaven. He caused so much chaos and trouble there that the Jade Emperor had to ask the Buddha for help to capture him. After a long and fierce battle, the Buddha finally trapped Sun Wukong under a mountain for 500 years as punishment! Can you believe it? 500 years! But don't worry, our hero didn't stay trapped forever. He eventually got released and joined the famous monk, Xuanzang, on his journey to the West to bring back sacred Buddhist scriptures. Along the way, Sun Wukong used his incredible powers to fight off evil monsters, demons, and all sorts of scary creatures that tried to stop them.My favorite part is when Sun Wukong fought the evil Demon Princess and her army of monsters. He transformed into a tiny insect and flew into her mouth, causing her to spit him out. Then, he changed back into his giant monkey form and beat her with his powerful staff! It was so cool and funny at the same time!Sun Wukong is not only super strong and brave, but he's also very loyal to his friends. He always protected Xuanzang andhis other companions, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing, from harm. Even though he sometimes got into trouble with his mischievous ways, he always fought for what was right and never gave up.I admire Sun Wukong because he's fearless, powerful, and never backs down from a challenge. He's also really funny and always finds a way to outsmart his enemies with his clever tricks. I wish I could be as brave and courageous as him when facing difficulties in life.I love reading about Sun Wukong's adventures and all the amazing things he can do with his magical powers. He's the coolest and most awesome hero ever! Whenever I feel scared or worried, I imagine Sun Wukong by my side, ready to protect me with his mighty staff and give me the courage to face any challenge. If you haven't read the story of "Journey to the West," you should definitely check it out! It's filled with incredible adventures, fierce battles, and lots of fun and laughter. And of course, it has the legendary Sun Wukong, the Monkey King – my favorite hero of all time!篇2My Favorite Hero: The Awesome Monkey King Sun Wukong!Hi everyone! I want to tell you about my absolute favorite hero ever - the Monkey King, Sun Wukong! He's the coolest, strongest, and most amazing character from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. Just thinking about his epic adventures makes me super excited!Sun Wukong is a monkey born from a stone who acquires supernatural powers through Taoist practices. He can walk across oceans in just one somersault and his magic staff can change sizes. The staff weighs about 13,500 pounds, but Wukong can wield it with ease. He's also immune to heat, cold, wind, and lightning. How awesome is that? But that's not all! Wukong has some other crazy cool abilities too. He can transform into 72 different creatures like a bird, fish, bug or plant. He can also make tons of copies of himself to confuse his enemies. And get this - he can pluck out hairs which turn into whatever he needs like soldiers, horses, weapons or even a small version of himself! With all these powers, he's basically invincible.Still, Wukong's most epic trait is his bravery and fighting skills. He was born as a rebellious spirit that battled the forces of heaven. He once defeated the entire Heavenly Army and all their powerful generals sent by the Jade Emperor. Wukong foughtwith his magic staff, somersaults, transformations and blinding somersault cloud. Even when captured and trapped under a mountain for 500 years, he never gave up!My favorite part is how Wukong became the guardian and protector for the monk Xuanzang on his famous pilgrimage to India. Using his powers, Wukong defeated countless monsters, evil spirits and villains who tried to stop them. He battled snake spirits, pig monsters, vampires, evil monks and plenty more to keep his master safe.Wukong is the best fighter ever, but he's also super funny with a big personality. He's very arrogant and boastful, always calling himself the "Great Sage Equal to Heaven." He loves showing off his abilities, playing tricks and cracking jokes. He has an awesome sense of humor and makes me laugh so much!I especially love all the crazy nicknames Wukong gets called, like Handsome Monkey King, BrilliantSage, Victorious Fighting Buddha or Old Monkey Disrupting Heaven. My personal favorite is the Qitin Maverick because it sounds so cool. Maverick means someone who doesn't follow the rules - just like Wukong!Even though Wukong has incredible powers, he gets himself into tons of hilarious trouble too. Like when he keeps sneaking food from the sacred peaches in the Heavenly Palace and gettingcaught. Or that time he drank all the royal wine and passed out! He's always up to some kind of mischief. It's so funny!Wukong is truly unstoppable, defeating every enemy no matter how strong. Whether battling evil spirits, gods, dragons, demons or immortals, he uses his wits and skills to win every fight. My heart races reading his adventures! He even took on the Buddha himself in an epic battle that shook the universe. Spoiler: Buddha won, but it was still awesome.I'll never forget the time Wukong and his master were swallowed by the evil Monster Leiyin. Using his staff, Wukong temporarily stopped the monster's heart, escaped from its body and then defeated it. How many heroes can say they've been swallowed by a monster and lived? Wukong is the greatest! In the end, Wukong finally achieved Buddhahood after many trials. He's promoted to be the Super-Conqueror Buddha, one of the Buddhas who guards the universe. This gives him even more magic abilities like seeing the past, present and future. How I wish I could meet Wukong in person and have him teach me his awesome moves and magic!I love absolutely everything about the Monkey King Sun Wukong - his bravery, powers, personality, humor and unwavering spirit. He's the definition of a true hero who neverbacks down no matter the odds. Wukong inspires me to be courageous, work hard, believe in myself and never ever give up on my dreams. If I could have any superpower, I'd definitely choose to be just like the Great Sage Equal to Heaven! I'd somersault from cloud to cloud, transform into different animals, fight evil with my awesome staff skills and go on epic adventures protecting the innocent. Wukong is simply the best hero a kid could ever have!篇3My Favorite Hero: The Awesome Monkey King Sun WukongHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite hero ever - the legendary Monkey King, Sun Wukong! He's the coolest, funniest, and most powerful monkey you'll ever meet. Just wait until you hear about all his crazy adventures!Sun Wukong is the star of the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. The book tells the story of a Buddhist monk named Xuanzang who has to travel all the way from China to India to get some sacred scrolls. But the journey is super dangerous because of evil monsters and spirits that attack them. That's where SunWukong comes in - he's hired as Xuanzang's bodyguard to protect him using his awesome Monkey King powers! So who exactly is this Sun Wukong guy? Well, he's not just any ordinary monkey. He was born from a magic rock on a mountain and has incredible abilities like cloud-somersaulting, shape-shifting, and can even clone himself into multiple monkey warriors! His weapon is an indestructible staff that can grow massively long or shrink tiny. With skills like those, you don't want to mess with the Monkey King! But Sun Wukong is also really funny and mischievous. Back before he became Xuanzang's protector, he loved playing pranks and stirring up trouble in Heaven. He totally disrespected the gods and jade emperors, sticking out his tongue and making rude noises at them. That made the rulers so mad that they sent their strongest troops and generals to try capturing him, but his martial arts were too powerful for anyone to defeat! My favorite part is when Sun Wukong rebels against Heaven's forces and takes over the Peach Banquet, gobbling up all the magical peaches that give immortality. When the gods tried to punish him, he peed on the Dragon King's palace! How crazy and hilarious is that? I laughed so hard reading that scene. After lots of chaos, the only way the gods could finally subdue the Monkey King was by burying him under a mountain for 500 years. Yikes! But eventually they needed Sun Wukong's strength for Xuanzang's journey, so they let him out on the condition that he behave. From then on, Sun Wukong becomes Xuanzang's bodyguard and has to use his incredible abilities to fend off evil beasts, monsters, and demons that threaten them along the way to India. Whether it's slaying violent pig monsters, river creatures, or the terrifying White Bone Demon, the Monkey King always saves the day with his magical staff and kung fu skills!I love how Sun Wukong is brave, funny, and kicks so much bad guy butt, but he's also still goofy and misbehaves sometimes too. Like when he accidentally inflates one of the monks into a balloon shape or turns Xuanzang's horse into a donkey by mistake. He's powerful but also makes silly errors which I think is hilarious. My favorite fights are when Sun Wukong takes on the demons' leaders like Princess Iron Fan, the Yellow Wind Monster, or the Demon King Sage himself. Those battles are so intense with magical rays, clashing staffs and swords, shapeshifting, andamazing martial arts moves. I get so pumped up reading those action scenes! The Monkey King is just unstoppable. In the end, after overcoming tons of obstacles thanks to Sun Wukong's heroics, Xuanzang finally makes it to India and gets the precious scrolls. The Monkey King has to stay in the spiritual realm to achieve true enlightenment, but I'm sure he'll keep having crazy awesome adventures wherever he goes next!I really look up to Sun Wukong because even though he's super powerful, he's also funny and goofy which I can relate to. I love his confidence in always sticking up for himself whether facing humans, gods, or monsters. He's brave, funny, strong, and the best fighter ever! I wish I could go on an adventure like Xuanzang's journey and have the Monkey King as my bodyguard friend. We'd make an unstoppable duo busting up bad guys left and right! Maybe I'll get to meet the real Sun Wukong when I grow up and travel to the spiritual realms. A kid can dream, right? Sun Wukong is number one forever! Monkey power rules!篇4My Favorite Hero: The Awesome Monkey King!Guess who my favorite hero is? It's the Monkey King! His real name is Sun Wukong, but everybody calls him the Monkey Kingbecause he's the king of all the monkey tricksters. He's so cool and does the craziest stunts. Let me tell you all about him!The Monkey King is from this classic journey storybook called "Journey to the West". It's about a Buddhist monk named Xuanzang who goes on an epic adventure from China all the way to India to get some sacred scrolls. But the road is super dangerous with evil monsters and bandits everywhere! That's where the Monkey King comes in.Xuanzang meets Sun Wukong in the mountains and asks him to be his protector on the journey. At first, the Monkey King is pretty full of himself and doesn't want to listen. But then Xuanzang gives him a special headband that has a spell on it. Whenever the monk says a magic phrase, it gets tighter on Wukong's head and gives him a crazy headache! That whips the mischievous monkey into shape. So Sun Wukong joins Xuanzang's crew along with two other legendary fighters - the pig monster Zhu Bajie and the river monster Sha Wujing. Together, they're like an unstoppable squad taking down anyone who messes with their journey. And the Monkey King is their awesome leader and best fighter! The thing that makes Sun Wukong so incredibly powerful is his magical staff. It's called the Compliant Golden Cinnabar Staffand it can shrink down to the size of a toothpick to fit in his ear. But when he takes it out and says a magic phrase, it grows super long and heavy. Like, it weighs about 13,500 pounds! That's as much as a giant truck. With that immense staff, the Monkey King can bash through anything and defeat any monster or demon that gets in his way.But that's not all the Monkey King can do. He has so many other incredible abilities too! He can transform into any object or animal, like a bird, tree, or even a tiny buzzing insect. He can also summon clones of himself so he multiplies into a whole army of Monkey Kings. And get this - he can even ride on clouds to fly through the sky! How awesome is that?My favorite episodes are when the Monkey King shows off all his wild stunts and tricks. There's this one time when the crew is surrounded by this evil army of demons. The Monkey King decides to have some fun first. He does all these crazy acrobatic flips and jumps through the air. Then using his staff, he bashes the ground so hard that it opens up a massive chasm that the whole demon army falls into! That was both funny and awesome at the same time.Another time, this monster demon breathes fire at Wukong. But the Monkey King is totally unfazed. He just opens his mouthwide and swallows all the fireballs! Then when the monster is out of ammo, Wukong spits the fire right back at him ten times hotter. That scene made me laugh so hard. The Monkey King also loves to pull pranks on the monk Xuanzang and his other traveling buddies. In one story, Wukong gets bored on the road and decides to have some fun. He uses his magic abilities to transform into a giant foot! Then he sticks the foot out in front of Xuanzang's path, making the monk slam right into it and faceplant into the ground. Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing laugh their heads off at the prank. Serves that monk right for always nagging them!Even though he's super powerful, the Monkey King sometimes lets his arrogance get the better of him. There's this one time when he disobeys Xuanzang and gets them all trapped under a demon's spell. The monk has to save him from the demon's dungeon. It was a good lesson that showed even the mighty Monkey King isn't invincible and needs to listen sometimes.Sun Wukong's most epic battle is against the Heavenly forces and armies of gods and immortals. At one point, the Monkey King actually takes over Heaven itself and sits on the throne of the gods! He thinks he's all that and can beat anyone. But then the Jade Emperor, who rules over all Heaven and Earth, finally steps in to stop the rampaging monkey. The two of them fight in this mind-blowing battle that literally shakes the entire universe. The Monkey King uses every trick, magic weapon, and martial art skill he has. He multiplies into thousands of clones and keeps reviving himself over and over. No matter what the gods throw at him, he just won't stay down! In the end, the only way the Jade Emperor can stop Sun Wukong is to trap him under a supernatural mountain for 500 years. Even then, the Monkey King swears to never surrender or repent! How hardcore is that? After 500 long years, the monk Xuanzang finally frees the Monkey King from the mountain so he can join the journey again. That's when Wukong finally learns to control his ego and become a loyal protector. Though he still loves pranking everyone and showing off his awesome abilities! There's just something so entertaining about the Monkey King's personality. He's arrogant and boastful, but also incredibly brave, loyal, and fun-loving. He uses his incredible powers to get into mischief as much as fight evil. And no matter how many times he gets knocked down, he always gets back up evenstronger. The Monkey King is the kind of hero who never stops battling or cracking jokes, even in the darkest of times. That's why Sun Wukong will always be my number one favorite hero. He's the bravest, most powerful, and funniest fighter ever. Some heroes are all about truth and justice, but the Monkey King? He fights for kicks and to show off how awesome he is! He makes me laugh with his pranks and stunts while also inspiring me with his unbreakable spirit and determination. The Monkey King proves that you can overcome any obstacle, no matter how powerful the enemy, through willpower and awesome martial arts skills! I hope I can be as cool as him when I grow up.篇5My Favorite Hero: The Awesome Monkey King Sun WukongHi everyone! Today I want to tell you about my favorite hero from stories. His name is Sun Wukong, but you might know him better as the Monkey King. He's the coolest, most powerful monkey who ever lived! Just wait until you hear all about his amazing adventures.Sun Wukong was born from a magic rock on the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit. He could already walk and talk right whenhe came out of the rock as a little stone monkey. Pretty neat, huh? He called himself the "Handsome Monkey King" because he thought he was so good-looking. I don't know if I'd go that far, but he did have some pretty awesome superpowers.First of all, he could do this crazy cool cloud thing where he could somersault and turn into a raging storm cloud that could fly anywhere in the universe at light speed! He used his magic staff to control the cloud. The staff was super heavy, weighing about 13,500 pounds, but Sun Wukong could shrink it down to the size of a toothpick and tuck it behind his ear when he didn't need it. When it was full size, he could fight with it like a pro, swinging it around like it weighed nothing.Sun Wukong was also super strong and could lift the entire mountain he was born on. Once he got mad at the Dragon Kings who ruled over the oceans, so he stole their treasures and completely wrecked their palaces under the sea! The Dragon Kings had to beg the Jade Emperor, the ruler of Heaven, to make Sun Wukong stop his rampage. The Jade Emperor tried to recruit Sun Wukong to join his army in Heaven, but the Monkey King was too unruly and caused too much chaos. Eventually, the Jade Emperor had to get the Buddha to trap Sun Wukong under a magic mountain for 500years as punishment for his bad behavior. Can you imagine being stuck under a mountain for 500 years? I'd go totally stir crazy! But Sun Wukong just waited it out patiently until eventually a monk came along and freed him. This monk's name was Xuanzang, and he was going on a journey from China to India to fetch some sacred Buddhist scriptures. Xuanzang needed a protector for his trip since the road was really dangerous back then. Sun Wukong agreed to go with him and be his disciple in exchange for freedom from the mountain prison. Their journey ended up taking 14 years and they had to overcome all sorts of scary obstacles along the way. There were evil monster creatures constantly trying to eat Xuanzang because they thought he was this tasty looking human snack. But Sun Wukong and his magic powers were always there to save the day! He used his somersault cloud to fly, his indestructible staff to fight, and all sorts of other shapeshifting tricks like growing a massive body, sprouting wings, or transforming into different animals. My favorite was when he multiplied himself into a whole army of clones to confuse his enemies.Every time some monster freak tried to gobble up Xuanzang, Sun Wukong would swoop in and totally pulverize them with hisstaff. He was just too strong, too fast, and too tricky to be beaten. Even the Dragon Kings' underwater fortresses couldn't stop him after he wrecked their homes last time. And all the armies of Heaven couldn't take Sun Wukong down either when they tried to eliminate him. He was just an unstoppable force, paving the way for Xuanzang's journey to succeed and get those precious scriptures.Over their 14 years on the road, Sun Wukong basically saved Xuanzang's life like a million times from hungry monsters, bandits, evil spirits, you name it. He really showed what a true hero and loyal protector he could be. Even though he started out as this uncontrollable prankster who made chaos everywhere he went, by the end he learned to use his insane powers for good under Xuanzang's guidance. In the end, Sun Wukong's help allowed Xuanzang to make it to India, gather up the scriptures safely, and bring them back to China to achieve enlightenment. As a reward, the Buddha himself gave Sun Wukong the new title of "Buddha Victorious in Strife" and let him join the ranks of the immortals in Heaven. Finally, he got the respect he deserved after proving his courage and dedication on that epic journey. So that's why the Monkey King Sun Wukong is my favorite hero of all time. He's just this mischievous trickster monkey at first, but then becomes the bravest, most powerful bodyguard ever to make sure his friend's quest succeeds against all the crazy dangers. With his somersault cloud, shapeshifting abilities, his trusty indestructible staff, and just sheer muscle, there's no monster or evil spirit that can stop him. He's a total legend who will never be forgotten!I hope you can understand now why I idolize Sun Wukong so much. He goes on this amazing adventure where he beats every threat and travels all the way across ancient China and India without any of our modern transportation. His determination and fighting skills are just off the charts. The Monkey King is truly a champion among heroes. I want to grow up to be as strong, quick-witted, and unstoppable as he is! Thanks for reading my essay, I'm glad I got to share the awesomeness of Sun Wukong with you all.。
四年级英文作文介绍一本书50字全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Book: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's StoneI absolutely love the book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling! It's such an exciting and magical story that really lets your imagination run wild. I've read it like five times already and I never get tired of it.The book is about an 11-year-old orphan boy named Harry Potter who learns on his 11th birthday that he is actually a wizard! Can you believe it? A regular kid like Harry finds out he has magical powers and gets invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I would be so stoked if that happened to me!At first, Harry doesn't know anything about the wizarding world because the meanies he lives with (the Dursley family) kept it all a secret from him. But then a half-giant named Hagrid shows up and tells Harry the truth about his parents being a witch and wizard. Turns out the evil wizard Voldemort actually killed Harry's mom and dad when he was just a baby, but Harrysomehow survived the killing curse. From that day on, he became famous in the wizarding world as "The Boy Who Lived."When Harry starts at Hogwarts, he makes two best friends named Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Ron comes from a huge wizarding family and Hermione is a Muggle-born witch, which means she was born to non-magical parents. At Hogwarts, they have to take classes to learn all sorts of magic like Potions, Herbology, Charms, Transfiguration and Defence Against the Dark Arts. How cool is that? But here's the really wild part - Harry, Ron and Hermione soon realize that somebody is trying to steal the powerful Sorcerer's Stone that's hidden at Hogwarts! The Sorcerer's Stone can give you immortality, which means you would never die. The three friends have to put the clues together and go through a bunch of obstacles to try and stop the sinister one who wants the Stone for themselves.Without giving too much away, they end up comingface-to-face with Professor Quirrell, one of their teachers who has been possessed by the spirit of Voldemort! He's been trying to get the Stone for Voldemort so the dark lord can use its powers and become immortal and unstoppable. But at the lastminute, Harry's courage and loyalty to his parents helps him overcome Voldemort. Phew, that was a close one! There's just so much I love about this book. The world of Hogwarts is simply dazzling, with its moving staircases, talking portraits, ghosts, enchanted ceilings and more. I wish I could go there! And the different magical items and spells they learn about are endlessly fascinating - hippogriffs, invisibility cloaks, remembralls, chocolate frogs, the amazing gamekeeper Hagrid and his weird pets. It's all so incredibly imaginative.More than anything though, I love how brave and loyal Harry, Ron and Hermione are to each other through all their adventures. They are willing to risk everything to protect the school and the wizarding world. Their friendship is so pure and strong, despite their differences. It shows you that your friends really can become like a second family.I cannot recommend this book enough! It has action, suspense, humor, creativity, and wonderful life lessons about friendship, love and doing what's right - all woven into an unforgettable magical tale. The Harry Potter series honestly sparked my love for reading from a very young age. J.K. Rowling is an absolute genius when it comes to storytelling andworld-building.If you haven't read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone yet, drop everything and go pick it up right now! You'll get transported to a whole new realm of wizardry and whimsy. Just keep an open mind about muggles like you and me potentially having special powers too. After all, the magic was inside Harry all along, even before he knew it. Who's to say the same can't be true for us? Now if you'll excuse me, I have a broomstick riding lesson to get to!篇2My Favorite Book – Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's StoneOne of my all-time favorite books is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling. It's the first book in the Harry Potter series and it's absolutely amazing! Let me tell you all about it.The story begins when Harry Potter, an orphan, turns 11 years old. On his birthday, he finds out that he's actually a wizard! Can you believe it? A wizard! Harry gets invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which is a magical school for young wizards. He's so excited because he never knew his parents were a witch and wizard before they were killed by an evil wizard named Voldemort. At Hogwarts, Harry makes two best friends named Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Ron comes from a family of wizards, but Hermione is like Harry - her parents are not magical at all. The three of them go on the most unbelievable adventures together at the school. They have classes where they learn how to cast spells, brew potions, and even fly on broomsticks! My favorite class that they take is definitely Potions with Professor Snape. He's a little bit mean and strict, but I think his potions lessons are super cool. I'd love to learn how to make a potion that can change your appearance or give you extra strength. Wouldn't that be awesome?Another really neat teacher is Professor McGonagall. She's the deputy headmistress and she teaches how to transform things from one object into another. Like she could turn a desk into a pig! I'm not sure I'd want her to transform me into an animal though. I think I'd maybe rather just learn how to make things hover and fly through the air.The wizarding world that Harry enters is filled with so many fascinating things. Many wizards have owls instead of phones to deliver their mail. The stairs and hallways at Hogwarts move around, making it easy to get lost. And the pictures hung on thewalls are actually alive - they can talk to you! Everything is just so imaginative and brilliant.Throughout the book, Harry starts to uncover the mystery of why Voldemort tried to kill him as a baby. He discovers that Voldemort is still out there, waiting to regain power and wreak more havoc. Harry has to brave an intense series of challenges to stop Voldemort from getting an extremely powerful object called the Sorcerer's Stone. The challenges Harry faces are truly scary at times, but also exciting. He has to get past a huge three-headed dog named Fluffy (who doesn't seem very fluffy to me!). Then there are other obstacles like devilish flying keys, a life-size wizards' chess game, and evil spirits. With the help of Ron and Hermione, as well as other friends he makes, Harry manages to overcome each daunting task.I don't want to give away too many details and ruin the amazing surprises in the book. But let's just say that the climax at the end, when Harry comes face-to-face with his parents' killer, had me totally on the edge of my seat! It's a page-turner for sure. What I love most about this book is that the characters seem so real, despite living in a make-believe world. Harry is a very regular kid in many ways - he attends school, has friends, gets introuble sometimes, and feels insecure about not really knowing who he truly is. But he's also unbelievably brave, kind-hearted, and determined. I find myself rooting for Harry the whole time and cheering him on.His friends Ron and Hermione are great too. Ron can be a little funny and goofy at times, providing humor to the story. While Hermione is the opposite - she's a total brainiac andrule-follower. But the way their different personalities balance each other out is perfect. You can tell they share an incredibly strong friendship bond. The writing by J.K. Rowling is wonderful as well. She paints such a vibrant, imaginative picture in my mind of this secret magical society that exists alongside the normal human world we know. The descriptions of the different spells, charms, and creatures like unicorns and trolls are so captivating. Her creativity seems absolutely boundless!Overall, I can't rave enough about how much I adore Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. From the entrancing story to the amazingly developed characters to the engrossing magical world, it's an absolute must-read in my book! Once you get started, you'll quickly find yourself getting hooked on the entire Harry Potter series because each book is even more spellbinding thanthe last. I'm already dying to crack open the next one to see what Potter and his pals get up to. If you haven't read this book yet, what are you waiting for? Do yourself a favor and add some magic to your life!篇3My Favorite Book: The Wonderful World of NarniaI absolutely love the book "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis! It's the first book in the Chronicles of Narnia series and it's just so amazing. Let me tell you all about it!The story starts off when these four siblings - Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie - have to go and stay in an old, huge country house because of the air raids happening in London during World War II. On their first day there, the youngest sister Lucy discovers this awesome magic wardrobe that leads into the fantasy world of Narnia!Narnia is the coolest place ever. It's this land of talking animals, mythical creatures, and it's ruled over by the great lion Aslan. But when Lucy first stumbles into Narnia, it's been taken over by the evil White Witch who has cursed it to be in an endless winter without Christmas! How awful is that?At first, Lucy's siblings don't believe her about the magical land in the wardrobe. But then Edmund follows her in and meets the Witch, who tricks him into joining her side with enchanted Turkish Delight. When the four children all finally get to Narnia, they end up having to go on this epic quest to defeat the Witch and restore peace and freedom to the land. There's so many exciting things that happen along the way! They get help from Mr and Mrs Beaver, who are actually talking beavers. Then there's Father Christmas who shows up and gives them all awesome gifts like a sword and a magical horn to aid them. My favorite parts are the huge battle scenes where Peter leads the army against the Witch's evil forces. It's just non-stop action and adventure! But amidst all the thrills and chills, there are really meaningful messages too about being brave, staying true to yourself, and doing what's right even when it's hard. Aslan, who represents Jesus, sacrifices himself to save Edmund but then gets resurrected in the most amazing scene. It shows that good will always triumph over evil in the end. What I love most though are the four siblings at the heart of the story. They have their squabbles for sure, but they learn to put aside their differences, face their fears together, and becomethe kings and queens of the new golden age of Narnia. I can really relate to their sibling relationships and I aspire to have courage like Lucy! The world of Narnia that C.S. Lewis created is just so rich and magical. From the talking animals to the intriguing characters to the captivating plot twists, every page sucks me into this incredible alternate universe. The descriptive writing is top-notch too - when he describes the White Witch's sledge going over the frozen waterfall, I get chills down my spine!I've read this book over and over and it never gets old. I keep discovering new things each time. My copy is totally worn out and dog-eared from reading it so much! I hope the Chronicles of Narnia series never ends because I never want to leave this spellbinding world. Narnia will always have a special place in my heart and imagination. If you haven't read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe yet, then you are seriously missing out! Do yourself a favor and dive into its enchanting pages right away. You'll embark on the ultimate fantasy adventure and make memories that will stay with you forever. Narnia is truly one of the most wonderful make-believe lands ever created. I can't wait to experience it all over again!篇4Title: My Favorite Book - The Adventures of Tom SawyerHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm a fourth-grader at Oakwood Elementary School. Today, I want to tell you about my all-time favorite book, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain. Get ready for an exciting adventure because this book is simply amazing! The story is set in the fictional town of St. Petersburg, Missouri, during the 1840s. The main character, Tom Sawyer, is a mischievous and clever young boy who always seems to find himself in exciting and sometimes dangerous situations. From the very beginning, the book captured my imagination with its vivid descriptions and engaging storytelling. One of my favorite parts is when Tom and his friend Huckleberry Finn witness a murder in the graveyard. It was so thrilling and suspenseful! They make a pact to keep it a secret, but it's not easy when they're being questioned by the authorities. I found myself on the edge of my seat, wondering what would happen next.Another memorable moment is when Tom and his friends decide to run away and become pirates. They camp out on anisland in the Mississippi River, living off the land and having all sorts of adventures. It's every kid's dream to be a pirate and explore uncharted territories! But Tom's adventures aren't just about fun and games. He also learns valuable lessons about friendship, responsibility, and growing up. When his friend Becky gets lost in a cave, Tom risks his life to find her, showing how much he cares for his friends.I love how Mark Twain's writing brings the characters and settings to life. His descriptions are so vivid that I can easily picture the quaint town, the mighty Mississippi River, and the sprawling forests and caves. It's like being transported back in time to a world of childhood adventures. One of my favorite things about the book is Tom's wit and cleverness. He's always coming up with ingenious plans and finding creative ways to get out of trouble. Like when he tricks his friends into whitewashing a fence for him by making it seem like a fun game. Brilliant! The book also has a lot of humor, which really appealed to me. Tom's antics and the silly situations he finds himself in often had me giggling out loud. It's a perfect balance of adventure, suspense, and comedy that keeps you engaged from start to finish.I think what really sets this book apart is its timeless themes of friendship, family, and growing up. Even though it was written over a century ago, the struggles and joys that Tom experiences are still relatable for kids today. We all have that desire for adventure, that need for acceptance, and that fear of growing up too fast.Overall, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" is a classic that I believe every kid should read. It's a rollicking adventure that will keep you entertained and engaged from start to finish. And who knows, it might even inspire you to go on a few adventures of your own (but maybe without the piracy and witnessing murders!).So, if you're looking for a book that's exciting, funny, and heartwarming all at the same time, give "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" a try. You won't be disappointed! Trust me, Tom Sawyer and his friends will forever have a special place in your heart, just like they do in mine.篇5My Favorite Book: The Wonderful World of NarniaHi there! My name is Emma and I'm in fourth grade. Today I want to tell you about my absolute favorite book series - TheChronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. This series is made up of seven books, and they are some of the most magical, adventurous stories I've ever read! The first book is called The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It's about four siblings - Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie - who stumble through an old wardrobe and end up in the amazing land of Narnia. Narnia is this fantastical world filled with talking animals, mythical creatures, and it's ruled by the great lion Aslan. When the children first arrive, Narnia is under the spell of the evil White Witch. She has made it always winter but never Christmas! How unfair is that? The children team up with the brave Narnians like Mr. Tumnus the faun and the beavers to defeat the Witch and restore Narnia to its former glory with Aslan's help. There are huge battles with stone statues coming to life and Father Christmas showing up! It's an epic tale of good versus evil.My favorite part is when the Witch turns Edmund against his siblings because he was tempted by her Turkish Delight treats. The other three have to go on this daring rescue mission to save him. I won't spoil what happens, but let's just say Edmund learnsa very valuable lesson about listening to his family and doing the right thing. The other six books continue the adventures, taking the children (and some others) back to Narnia during different time periods. Prince Caspian is about the Pevensies helping the young prince claim his rightful throne from his evil uncle. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader has them sailing on a ship to the Eastern islands. In The Silver Chair, the heroes have to journey underground to find the missing Prince Rilian. The Horse and His Boy is about a talking horse and a young man having crazy adventures across the Narnian deserts and archenemy countries. The Magician's Nephew is actually a prequel, showing how Narnia was first created by a boy named Digory and his friend Polly. The very last book is The Last Battle where an ape tricks everyone into worshipping a false Aslan. What I love most about these books is the richness of the world C.S. Lewis created. Narnia feels so real, like you could step right through that wardrobe door. The landscapes are vividly described, from the snow-covered forests to the shining Eastern Sea. And the characters are all so vibrant - you can't help but love the loyal beavers or be in awe of the powerful Aslan.Aslan is based on the legends of Jesus, which gives the stories a beautiful layer of spiritual meaning about faith, sacrifice and doing what's right. Yet the books never preach and let you discover the deeper truths yourself as you follow the adventures. At the same time, the stories are flat-out exciting! There's always some quest or impending doom the heroes have to overcome, whether it's battling sea monsters or escaping underground mazes. The battle scenes are intense but not too scary. The Narnian world is brimming with wonder around every corner - you never know if you'll meet a marshwiggle, Dryad or Minotaur next!I've read the whole series three times already and I pick up new details each time. The authors' imagination and storytelling is just endless. Part of why I love the books so much is because my mom read them to me first when I was little. We would snuggle up and she would do different voices for all the characters! Those are some of my most cherished memories.I really can't recommend The Chronicles of Narnia enough, whether you're a kid or a grown-up. They are the perfect blend of epic adventure, life lessons, and pure magic. C.S. Lewis said it best: "Once a King or Queen of Narnia, always a King or Queen." Reading these books will make you royalty in one of the greatestimaginary worlds ever created. So what are you waiting for? The wardrobe door is open!篇6My Favorite Book: Charlotte's WebI love reading books, but my absolute favorite is Charlotte's Web by E.B. White. It's a story about a pig named Wilbur who is saved from being killed by a kind spider named Charlotte. Even though it's a book for kids, it has so many deep meanings that even adults can appreciate. The book starts out on a farm where Wilbur is born as the runt of the litter. The farmer's daughter Fern takes care of Wilbur and treats him like a pet. As Wilbur grows bigger, he gets sold to her uncle's farm down the road. This is where Wilbur meets Charlotte, a spider who lives in the doorway of the barn.At first, Wilbur is really lonely on the new farm with no friends. But then Charlotte speaks to him and they become best friends! Charlotte is not only smart and caring, but she's an amazing writer too. She spins words into her web like "Some Pig" and "Terrific" to convince the farmer that Wilbur is too special to be killed for food.My favorite part is when all the animals on the farm band together to protect Wilbur from being killed. The rat Templeton helps bring Charlotte fresh foods for energy to spin more words. The goose and sheep help spread word of Wilbur's talents far and wide. It shows how powerful friendship and working together can be.Even though Charlotte saves Wilbur's life, the book has a really sad part too. At the end, Charlotte is so old that she doesn't have much longer to live. Before she dies, she has hundreds of children and helps Wilbur take three of her egg sacs back to the farm barn. It's heartbreaking but also beautiful how she lives on through her offspring. This book teaches so many important lessons in a touching story. I learned about the cycle of life, the value of friendship, and how language has great power. The characters show qualities like loyalty, bravery, and sacrifice for others. Charlotte's Web makes me laugh one minute and then cry the next - it really tugs at your heartstrings!I've read this book over and over and I never get tired of it. The storytelling is wonderful and paints such a vivid picture of farm life. The animals all have distinct personalities that come tolife. I can vividly imagine Charlotte in her web, Wilbur's foolish gosling friends, and Templeton's gruff but helpful ways.Charlotte's Web is a true classic that I think everyone should read, both kids and adults. Even after reading it 10 times, I still find new meanings and lessons in the story. It's an entertaining book but also has profoundand beautiful messages about life. This masterpiece by E.B. White will always have a special place in my heart as my favorite book of all time! I hope my kids and grandkids will read it over and over too when they're older. It's just that good!。

Clearly 7 is the luckiest number for fun!Lots of awesome inventions and discoveries involve 7 too. The rainbow has 7 colors, but Newton figured out that there are actually 7 colors in the visible spectrum - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. The 7 continents are North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Antarctica. There are 7 notes in a musical scale - A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. I always get really excited when my birthday rolls around because the date has my lucky number in it. Last year for my 7th birthday, I had 7 friends over and we played 7 different party games. This year I'm turning 8, but 7 will always be my favorite age. Some people like the number 3 because of the Holy Trinity. Others think 4 is lucky for the 4 leaves on a clover. A few people even like 13 because they think it gets a bad rap. But in my opinion, none of those numbers can compare to the awesomeness of 7! It's just the coolest shape, it represents so many amazing things, and it keeps popping up everywhere I look. Seven is definitely, hands-down, no-contest the greatest number there is. Maybe when I'm older I'll start liking other numbers too. But for now and forever, 7 will always be number one in my heart!篇5My Favorite Number is 7Hi there! My name is Charlie and I'm in the 4th grade. Today I want to tell you all about my very favorite number - the number 7! I just love everything about this amazing number. Get readybecause I'm going to explain all the super cool reasons why 7 is the best number ever.First of all, 7 just looks really neat. I mean, look at how it's written - that smooth curve on the top leading into a straight line is so satisfying. And when you write it out, the way the curved part connects to the straight part is really fun to draw. Numbers like 8 are just boring circles, but 7 has that sleek slant that makes it way more stylish. But 7 isn't just a pretty face. It's also really unique and special when you look at all its mathematical properties. For example, 7 is a prime number which means it can't be divided evenly by any other numbers except 1 and itself. How awesome is that? It makes 7 seem strong and independent, like it doesn't need any other numbers. Plus, 7 is the biggest single-digit prime number. It's like the boss of the primes in the number neighborhood.Another amazing thing about 7 is that when you multiply any number by 7, the digits in the original number get reversed! Take 38 x 7 for instance - you get 266. See how the 3 and 8 flipped places? Or 5,927 x 7 is 41,489. So crazy! I've spent hours just multiplying different numbers by 7 to watch the digit reversals happen. It's like 7 has this cool magic power. But that's not even the best part about 7. The ultimate reason why 7 is my favorite is because of all the incredible lucky things associated with it. In many cultures around the world, 7 is considered a lucky number. In fact, there's even a popular saying - "born under a lucky star" which refers to being born on the 7th day of the month. How cool is that?In the Bible, the number 7 is mentioned over 700 times and has all sorts of special meanings, like representing spiritual perfection and completion. There were 7 days of creation, Noah took 7 pairs of each animal on the ark, there are 7 colors in a rainbow, and so on. Seven seems to hold some kind of divine power in many religions and beliefs.Even outside of religion, 7 keeps popping up as a lucky and magical number. There are 7 days in a week, 7 notes on a musical scale, 7 colors in a rainbow (again!), 7 continents, and 7 wonders of the ancient world. Lots of people consider 7 to be their lucky number when playing games or gambling. I always pick 7 whenever I can because it just feels so fortuitous. Those are the main reasons why I'm completely obsessed with the number 7. But honestly, I could probably go on and on about its awesomeness for hours. Like how it's the a sum of the opposite facing bases on two dice (you know, because oppositefacing dice always add up to 7?). Or how it's the atomic number for the element nitrogen which is a huge part of the air we breathe? Or all the "seven" words like septuplets and septenary? There's just so much to love.So there you have it - my complete rundown on why 7 is hands-down the best, coolest, luckiest number in existence. To me, no other digit even comes close. I will always be faithful to lucky number 7. It's my buddy, my pal, a real gift to the number world. Everyone should take a minute to appreciate the spectacular, the marvelous, the one-and-only number SEVEN!篇6My Favorite Number is SevenHi, my name is Johnny and I'm in third grade. Today I want to tell you all about my very favorite number - the number seven! Seven is just the coolest number ever. Let me explain why I love it so much.First of all, seven is a really fun number to write. Making that squiggly line on top is my favorite part. Whenever I write a seven, I always try to make the swirl as big and fancy as possible. My sevens have the best swirls in the whole class!Another reason seven is awesome is because of all the lucky things associated with it. Seven is considered a lucky number by lots of people around the world. In some places, seeing multiple sevens (like 7:07 on a clock) is supposed to be extra lucky. How cool is that? There are seven days in a week, seven colors in a rainbow, and seven notes on a musical scale. Seven just seems to pop up everywhere in nature and life. It must be a pretty important number!Did you know that a bunch of famous landmarks and buildings are inspired by the number seven? The famous Pyramids in Egypt originally had seven steps to represent the seven heavenly bodies known in ancient times. And the founders of Las Vegas were obsessed with the number seven, so it appears on lots of the hotels and casinos there. In stories and movies, seven keeps popping up too. There are the Seven Dwarfs from Snow White, the Seven Samurai from that classic film, and the Seven Potters that Harry had to protect. James Bond even had seven novels written about him by the original author! Seven must be a very magical number. My friends all groan when we get to the "seven times tables" in math class, but not me! I get excited because sevens are themost fun to multiply. No other times table sounds as cool when you recite it. Just listen: "Seven, fourteen, twenty-one..." It has such a nice rhythm to it. Take that, fives and nines!Another awesome sevens fact is that when you take any number, reverse its digits, and then subtract the smaller number from the bigger one, the answer is always divisible by seven. Watch this:63 - 36 = 27. And 27 is of course divisible by seven! You can do this weird trick over and over and it will sempre work. Sevens are magic, I'm telling you. There are just so many interesting patterns and properties with the number seven. Like how if you take the first seven counting numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) and multiply them all together, you get 5040 which is CRAZY! And if you shuffle those same seven digits, you can make the numbers 1 through 7 using each digit exactly once for each number. Mindblowing stuff. At this point, I could just keep rambling on and on about why seven is so amazing. But I don't want to bore you too much! Let's just say that seven is the best number for math tricks, lucky traditions, appearing in pop culture...pretty much everything really. So those are the main reasons why seven is my all-time favorite number. Whenever I see a seven, I just get this warm, fuzzy feeling inside. Maybe it's because seven was considered a lucky and magical number in ancient times. Or perhaps there's just something objectively cool about the way it looks and sounds compared to other digits.Whatever the reason, seven will always have a special place in my heart and at the top of my favorite numbers list. It's fun to write, fun to calculate with, and just an all-around fantastic number. Whenever I'm struggling with math or feeling down, I just think about seven and it instantly makes me smile. Here's to you, seven! Thanks for always being there for me and being such an awesome number. I hope you'll join me in showing seven some love and appreciation. Because at the end of the day, all numbers are important...but seven will always be a step above the rest!。
