（二）题目来源：该部分的题目来源是同样由ETS出题的历年SAT考试的填空部分。

由于SAT 填空与GRE填空在单词的考察难度上一致，但是在逻辑的对应上更加直接，所以改部分的题目适合考生在GRE备考初期使用。

题目进行两方面的训练：1单词的背诵与巩固；2对应和重复的找寻。

考生通过先背诵从题目中抽取的核心单词在《新GRE核心词汇考法精析》（再要你命3000）中的词义之后，再用此材料提升自己的“题感”。

使用该部分题目，可以最大程度上避免孤立记忆单词的效率低下，以及在脱离语境和考法的单词记忆后，带来的做题挫败感。
