（2）题材：贴近学生的学习与生活，为考生所熟悉。
（3）概括：一般是要求概括全文，但也可能要求概括其中的某个小段落、某个人物或某个方面，如2007年高考题（仅此一年）。
（4）内容：要求考生发表观点的写作内容要点明确，近五年高考中每年都有3条具体的内容要点。
一般说来，考生都有话可写。
（5）词数：从近五年高考改卷的实际来看，似乎对字数没有严格的要求。
以上五年高考满分作文，摘要在26—38个词之间，符合约30个词的要求；但发表观点部分，均大大超过120个词。
因此，写作时以表达思想为主，不必拘泥字数的多少。

一年一度的全国高考终于在今年6月上旬落下了帷幕。
今年的广东高考英语试题，总体难度适中，没有出现难题、偏题和怪题，比较客观地体现了测试的深度、广度和信度，这对广东今后的高中英语教学和高三备考都有着积极的指导意义。
时光荏苒，日月如梭。
5年过去了，大家仍然记忆犹新：2007年，广东的英语考试改革“敢为人先”，率先以崭新的题型呈现在全国高考英语试题中。
传统的“单项填空”变成了“语言结构”，阅读部分增加了“信息匹配”。
作文变动最大，由原来的25分变成40分：第一部分是“基础写作”，第二部分是“读写结合”。
这些变化突出了对语言的应用和对学生的能力培养，得到了专家和广大师生的推崇和赞赏。
本文将对今年的广东高考英语试题作一客观述评，并对部分答案进行商榷。
【完形填空】体裁为议论文，内容针对“是非观念的标准”问题进行讨论。
材料比较容易读懂，但选项需要联系语境和语义逻辑关系，才能做出更好的判断，例如10、14小题。
此外，该题保持了广东侧重考查修饰性表达的特色，15个题中分别考查形容词6题、副词4题、名词3题、动词2题，分布与2011年基本一致。
【语法填空】材料是一篇记叙文，通过一位女生的回忆，记叙了班里一位新来的男生的故事。
他走路趾高气扬，上课也戴着太阳镜的形象给人留下了深刻的印象。
该题保持了一贯的考题结构，4道题带有提示词，6道题没有提示词，难点依然在连词、代词。
值得称道的是，虚拟语气首次在语法填空中出现。
【阅读理解】所选文章都值得称道。
话题紧扣当前热点，选材原汁原味，既体现了广东命题灵活、侧重能力的特点，亦彰显了英美文化意识。
四篇文章包括说明文两篇，记叙文和论说文各一篇。
题材新颖有趣，从“Have a nice day.”俗语的使用习惯到美国体育节目的商业化，折射出英美文化和生活方方面面，文章本身也没有太多的难词和难句，但题目选项的设置具有一定迷惑性。

2012广东省高考英语试卷分析2012年广东省的高考英语试卷从总体上看，难度比较适中，没有什么很难很偏很怪的题目，注重基础，与前两年的试卷相比，相对比较简单，都是常规题型。
题型分析：一、完形填空2012年完形是一篇关于规章条例的说明文，讲述了遵循规章条例的好处，篇章的难度总体不大，首先是词汇难度不大，篇章意思叙述完整，基本上没什么生词，很多选项的区分度也不大。
1.A 考查形容词辨析。
A 友善的，B 敏感的，C 公平的，D 慷慨的；根据文章意思，应该是对人友好是对的。
2.C 考查副词辨析。
A 平等地，B 轻微地，C 清楚地，明显地，D 渐增地；根据文章第一句话，We all know that some things are obviously right可知与obviously（显然地）相对应的是Some things are clearly wrong3.D 考查名词辨析。
A 建议，B 结论，C 顺序，D 选择；根据本句话意思是规则能帮助人做出正确的选择。
4.A 考查名词辨析。
根据文章意思，骑自行车的人在转弯之前发出信号来阻止accident（交通事故），此题比较简单5.C 考查形容词辨析。
A. Interesting（有趣的） B. Vital（重要的） C. Easy（简单的） D. Valuable（有价值的），根据上下文意思，很容易得出答案C6.D 考查副词辨析。
这个空一定要根据上文，.... it will be easy for them to form what is sometimes called a “black and white” view.可知，有些人认为只能说真话，说谎是从来不被接受的。
选D never7.A 考查名词辨析。
根据文章意思，有些人太固执，以至于陷入麻烦，get into trouble8.D 考查副词辨析。
A. Roughly（粗糙地）B. Eventually（最终地）C. Deliberately（故意地）D. exactly （确切地）。
原则:采取整体评分法与要素评分法相结合，评分时从内容（完整性），语言（准确性），流利程度（连贯性）和语音语调（地道性）四个方面确定考生答案所属档次。
内容上主要关注信息的完整性，语言上主要关注语法和句子结构，流利性上主要关注连贯和节奏。
注意：考生只复述了故事的一小部分内容，按该部分内容所占的大约比例为最高分起评。
注意几种情况的处理：1.出现以下情况评零分“1）一直都有说，但不是在说英语或一个单词都听不懂。
2）可听到背景声音（有其他考生的声音，但很确定考生本身完全没有出声说）3）考生乱说一气或者背诵一些与考试完全无关的内容。
2.若录音中完全没有录到声音的，请及时上报组长，由技术人员处理。
3.若录音声音偏小，但能听清楚内容的，不能因声音小而扣学生的分。
