八下U8-Life in the future-单元语法全解过去进行时态含义：表示过去某个时刻或某一阶段正在进行的动作，常和表示过去时间的状语while, when, at that moment, all day, the whole afternoon, at ten o’clock last night, at that time, at this time yesterday等类似的连用，但在有些情况下，没有明确的时间状语，需要通过上下文来判断。
例句：Mike was doing his homework at nine o’clock last night.They were watching TV from seven to nine last night.构成：主语+(not)+was/were+doing+其他The children were playing games at this time yesterday.when与while引导的时间状语从句whenwhen引导的时间状语从句的谓语动词可以是持续性动词，也可以是短暂性动词，持续性动词常用过去进行时，短暂性动词常用一般过去时。
When I was walking along the road, I met my uncle.When I saw him, he was decorating his room.总结规律：whilewhile引导的时间状语从句中的谓语动词必须是持续性动词或表状态的be动词，持续性动词常用过去进行时。
