一．名词性从句要点：
1.名词：表示人或事物的名称的词
2.名词的句法作用：名词在句中主要作
主语,宾语,表语和同位语。
3.名词性从句：在英语的句子结构中，本来该由名词充当的主语、宾语、表
语和同位语，由一个句子来充当,这个句子就叫:名词性从句。
4.名词从句又包括主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。
二、名词性从句连接词的选用
1.that 和what 的选用
what：连接作用，还可做从句的主语、宾语、或表语。
that：不充当任何成分，只起连接作用。
2.if 和 whether (是否）的选用
注意:已确定的事由that引导;没决定的事由whether引导.
whether和 if都可以使用的情况：
1）. 引导动词的宾语从句时；
2）. 在be + adj.之后时；
3）. 在主语从句中，it用作形式主语时。
只能用whether的情况：
1）.与or not直接连用时，只能用whether（即whether or not）
2). 引导主语从句，表语从句和同位语从句时；
3). 引导介词后的宾语从句时；
4). 后面直接跟动词不定式时，即whether to do
特别提示：单选题中，当确定是“是否”，选项中同时出现if和whether时，必选whether。
