一、教学目标
1. 能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则，正确朗读下列词汇并在实际的对话操练中加以应用：easy, interesting, difficult, learn, which, subject, best
2. 能够就“最喜欢的科目、喜好的原因”等话题进行交流与对话操练，如：
(1)—What do you think of it?
—I don’t like it. It’s a little difficult.
(2) I like history very much because it’s very interesting.
(3) —Which subject do you like best?
—I like history best.
—Why do you like it?
—Because it’s easy and interesting.
3. 能通过谈论最喜爱的课程及其原因，增进同学之间的了解，培养学生对校园生活的热爱之情。

Step 1 Revision
Ask Ss to discuss their timetable with their partners.
e.g.
A: How many lessons do you have every weekday?
B: Six. I have four classes in the morning and two classes in the afternoon. I can play sports after class in the afternoon.
A: How many English lessons do you have every day?
B: Two. English is my favorite subject.

Step 2 Pre-listening
1.Ask Ss to describe these pictures using easy, difficult, interesting, boring.
2.Ask Ss to answer the questions.
Do you like English? Why? …
3.Ask Ss to look at the pictures and answer the questions.
T: What do you think of English / Chinese / math / physics / geography / P.E. / art? Ss: It’s easy / difficult / interesting / boring.
4. Ask Ss to look at the picture in 1a and predict what the conversation is about. 【设计意图】通过创设情境和图片的方式引入新单词，为听力做准备。

Step 3 While-listening
Work on 1a&1b
1.Ask Ss to listen to 1a and complete the table. Then check the answers together.
2.Ask Ss to listen to 1a again and mark the following sentences T (True) or F (False).
3.Ask Ss to check the answers with their partners. Then the whole class check the answers together.

Step 4 Post-listening

Ask Ss to practice 1a in pairs and make up new conversations about their favorite subjects.

1.Ask Ss to look at the pictures and answer the questions to learn the new phrase —learn about.
T: What class are they having?

2. Ask and answer questions with their partners with the phrases in the box.
e.g.
A: They are learning about the past in the class. What class are they having? B: They are having a history class.

Work on 2b
1. Ask Ss to look at the pictures and make up new conversations in pairs.

2. Ask Ss some pairs to act out their conversations to the whole class.

1. Ask Ss to work in groups and survey their group members about the subjects they like or dislike and the reasons.
