教材分析

1、教学内容

本单元是Go for it七年级下册中第九单元“What does he look like?”。本单元的核心话题是谈论人的外表形象(look),

教材内容围绕着描述人的外貌特点展开，让学生学会谈论人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征及着装特点，因此 „talking about sb’s look‟

是教学重点。通过对本单元的学习，学生能掌握本单元出现的表示人外观的词组及句型。

Section B第一课时，是在完成Section A教学后，学生们掌握了描述人物外貌的基本句型后的扩充和延伸，目的是使学生学会运用更多的词句对人物外貌进行成段描述，通过听说训练来呈现与此相关的形容词、短语 (1a，1b)到听力练习(1c，1d)，让学生学会更多的描述外貌语句，复习巩固本单元的语法项目have动词

、be动词和wear动词的用法，最后达到到成段语句的输出(1e)，语言目标层层递进，主要展示了重点句型：

What does he/she look like? He/She is tall. He/She has curly hair. He wears funny glasses. 等。

2、教材的地位及作用

以人的外貌特征为主线，兼顾交际功能的学习，以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序，引导学生学会用英语介绍自己或他人的外表特征。本课的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关，易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中，学生能通过交换对不同人物的描述及看法，促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流，增进情谊。

本节课我采用任务教学为主并融入演示法、情景教学法，激发并发挥学生的积极性，让学生积极动口、动手、动脑，激活英语课堂，帮助学生学习描述人物外貌的单词、句型，并让学生真正成为课堂的主体。让学生把所学的知识和实际结合起来体验到学以致用的乐趣。

2.教学背景分析

教学内容分析：

本课是人民教育出版社出版的七年级下Unit9 What does he look like? SectionA1a-1c第一课时，本单元学习描述人的外貌特征，谈论人的外表形象，让学生学会用所学知识对人的身高、体重、发型等进行描述，引出本单元目标语言。本课教学内容贴近学生的生活实际学生对此充满兴趣，因此通过创设情境，让学生动脑思考，激发学生的积极性。

学生情况分析：

本节课的教授对象是七年级的学生，英语有了一定的基础，但班里的学生水平参差不齐，积极主动的学生只占到班级人数的三分之一。尤其是在这个偏远小县城，孩子们缺乏自信，积极主动性差，表现欲差。所以为了提高学生的学习兴趣，在教学中充分利用了多媒体、课件、彩色图片等教学资源来进行语言操练，让学生更直观的感受、学习英语。
