二.教学课题
1.教学内容:Key vocabulary---celebrate,labour,season,vacation,while,Labour Day(May Day)
Key structures---adverbial clauses with while,when,before,after,
or until;
2.教学目标:
①知识目标:1.To say something about Independence Day;
2.To say the date correctly;
3.To know how people in US, UK and China celebrate the May Day
holiday.
②能力目标:To talk about some Chinese festivals.
③情感目标:1.To let Ss know both Chinese public holidays and foreign countries’
public holidays.
2.To make Ss understand Chinese culture better, and love their own
country.
三.教材分析:
本模块以节假日为话题,内容涉及到中外节假日以及节假日的诞生和庆祝节假日的方式。
节假日与学生的生活息息相关,也是一个感兴趣的话题,通过对比可以让学生更好的了解国内外的节假日,特别是中国的节假日,加深了学生对中国文化的了解和对祖国的热爱。
学生通过词汇、语法的学习和听、说、读、写等方面的训练,提高综合运用语言的能力。
Unit 1从美国国庆日和劳动节入手,帮助学生了解它们的日期和庆祝方式。
Unit 2的阅读文章较为详细地描述了纽约人如何庆祝新年的。
学习本模块可以增加学生们的见识,了解不同的文化内涵,引发对节日文化的思考。
本模块的语法项目是状语从句,是初中阶段很重要的语法项目。
在内容安排上,教材的Unit1和Unit 2的文章都有涉及,可以引导学生通过对话来体会、理解,进而初步掌握。
四.教学方法:
听说综合课型(Listening, Speaking and V ocabulary)一节
预期目标:初步理解语言,帮助学生体验新语言和听力材料的形式、意义和功能。
能力培养:注重听力材料处理及词汇、句式表达能力。
课堂教学安排(45分钟):
①20分钟:学生以听和读的方式,体验新语言材料的意义、形式和功能;②10分钟:教师点拨语言材料特征,与学生互动;③15分钟:以书面和口头方式检查学生初步理解新语言材料。
本课型侧重引导学生初步理解语言现象,师生讲练比重约为6:4。
