Step 1: Warming up.
1. Greetings:
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Lead in:
T: 我们在上学期认识了很多的小朋友,他们叫什么名字?你们还记得
吗?(生说人名,师出示图片。

)今天我们还要认识三个新朋友,他们是谁?Look. ( 画出Alice, John and Miss Williams的图像并板书、带读。

)
2. Ask SS to greet to them. SS: Hello. / Good morning, (Alice)
3. Role-play: 2 Ss act as Alice and John. T acts as Miss Williams. T: I’m Miss Williams. What’s your name? S: I’m Alice/ John. (To a few Ss) (带读板书)
4. Drill: Role-play between 3 Ss.
5. Teach the sentence: I’m fine. / I’m OK. / I’ m not very well. (An intervi ew) T: How are you today?
S: I’m fine. / I’m OK. / I’ m not very well. (教读板书,学生如实回答)
6. Teach the sentence: How are you today? (教读板书)
7. Drill: Practise in pairs: How are you today? I’m fine. / I’m OK. / I’ m n ot very well.
Step 3: Practice
1. A pantomime: T stands behind the pupil and imitates his/ her voice and says sth. about the dialo gue. While the pupil just moves his /her mouth. (actions)
2. A pantomime between 2 Ss: 3 pairs.
3. Listen to the tape and try to imitate the intonations.
4. Act the dialogue out: Prepare for a few mi nutes.
