(一)教学内容分析
本模块以感觉和印象为话题,内容主要是谈论对事物等的感觉、评论以及对人的印象等。
在教学过程中,利用课本中的语言材料创造性地开展听、说、读、写训练,从而帮助学生学习、运用表感觉和知觉的系动词,学会表达自己的感觉和印象。
本模块的重点是学习表感觉和知觉的系动词,难点是表达个人感受和印象的形容词在不同语境中的使用。
本单元内容是英国女孩Sally给笔友玲玲写的一封信。
信中对Sally的外貌、喜好和情感态度进行了描述,这些内容很符合这一年龄段学生的兴趣,语言实践活动也比较好开展。
本单元的教学重点是理解短文内容并在此基础上学会一些描述人长相、性格和感受的表达方式;难点是灵活运用不同句式以及感官动词和一些形容词来描述一个人。

新标准英语八年级Module7 Feelings and impressions Unit2 I feel nervous when I speak Chinese一课教学设计教学内容分析:本单元以感觉与印象为话题,内容主要是一篇阅读课文—Sally 的一封信,对英国女孩Sally的情感态度和爱好进行了描述。
并在其后安排了一个写作训练,练习写信,并用所学词汇、句式等描述自己。
这些内容很符合这一年龄段学生的兴趣。
教学对象分析:初二学生已初步掌握一些与感觉和印象有关的知识,且对描述人这一话题很感兴趣。
本课指导学生通过阅读获取信息,并联系学生生活实际,结合已有的知识和经验,以讨论、阐述和猜人问答等方式,运用所学的语言基础知识自我学习、互相学习,让学生在语言实践中相互启发、生成,体验成功。
教学目标:教学的中心任务是让学生通过阅读获取信息,培养学生的阅读技能,并学会用英语描述一个人及其感觉.本课采用多媒体手段辅助教学,在轻松愉快的氛围中,在较真实的语境下,训练学生听说读写及综合运用语言的能力。
培养学生的合作精神,发展其思维和想象等能力。
1、学会用“hair, dark, fair, glasses, dance, bicycle, stranger, especially”等词汇及句型描述一个人。
2、学会用“nervous, proud, stupid, angry, I feel/am…when I…”等词汇及句型表达感觉。
3、使学生能描写出一个人的外貌﹑爱好﹑感觉等。
4、培养学生的民族自豪感,树立自信心,学会理解他人,关心他人。
教学过程:Step1 Warming-up (师生问候,欣赏照片,激情引趣)借助电脑,我展示了几张其中暗藏了我及学校名字的照片,观赏后让学生说出我的名字及校名。
这一形式大大地吸引了学生的注意力,使他们更加关注我,为导入新课作了很好的铺垫。
Step2 Presentation(深入了解,引发激情,步入课文)在学生为猜到我的名字及来自何校而感到欣喜之时,我适时地问学生是否想更加了解我,在他们异口同声的“Yes”声中,我用大屏幕展示了我的更多信息(I am short with long dark hair. I am wearing glasses…)。

T: Sally is going to meet her friend Lingling at the airport. But they didn’t meet before and they didn’t know what each other look like. Sally then describes herself in the letter. What does she look like? Now read her letter and underline the sentences about Sally’s looking.After a while, ask students to read out loud the sentences, and then find out the right photo.Sample sentences:I’m quite tall, with short fair hair, and I wear glasses.I’ll wear jeans and a T-shirt for the journey, but I’ll also carry my warm coat. T: Good. Can you find her now? Point out the picture.Ask some students to point out thepicture and describe the picture.
