By the middle of this century it could be seventy percent, or almost six and a half billion people.Urbanization can lead to social and economic progress, but also put pressure on cities to provide housing and services. With the increasing number of individuals pouring into cities, the worsening inequalities, driven by social divisions and differences in wealth, could result in violence and crime unless cities plan better. Another issue is urban expansion. This is where cities expand quickly into rural areas, sometimes at a much faster rate than urban population growth. From my perspective, the government is expected to implement laws and regulations to limit the exceedingly growing of the urban population. As college students, we can seek employment back to our hometown and I am sure a promising future is awaiting us there.南京的英语作文篇6Dear Wang Qiang,How are you doing recently? 介绍自己的家乡英文作文70字南京加中文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Hometown: NanjingHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Nanjing in eastern China. Nanjing is the capital of Jiangsu Province and it has a really cool history that I want to share with you.Nanjing used to be the capital of several ancient dynasties in China, like the Ming Dynasty from 1368 to 1644. Because of this, it has tons of incredible historical sites and relics all over the city. One of the most famous is the Xiaoling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty. It's this giant tomb complex with massive stone archways and statues of animals and warriors guarding the tombs of the Emperor and his empresses. I went there on a school field trip once and it felt like being transported back in time!Another famous historical site is the Fuzimiao area, which used to be the royal palace area during the Ming Dynasty. Now it's filled with ancient-style gardens, temples, and old imperialbuildings that have been preserved for centuries. I love wandering around here and imagining what life was like back when emperors and nobles lived here. My mom always has to drag me away because I never want to leave!Apart from the historical stuff, Nanjing is also known for being one of the Four Ancient Cities of China along with Beijing, Luoyang, and Xi'an. That means it has a super long history going back over 2,500 years! Can you imagine how many generations of people have lived in the same city over all that time? It's pretty mind-blowing if you ask me.The city has a pretty awesome food scene too with tons of delicious local dishes. My personal favorite is a type of salty duck called "nanjing salted duck." The ducks are brined and air-dried to get this intense savory flavor that tastes amazing. I could seriously eat a whole duck by myself! Another yummy local specialty is "yangzhou fried rice" which has all these crunchy little pieces and rich flavors from being fried in a special stone wok. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!When it comes to scenery, Nanjing really knocks it out of the park. On the eastern side of the city, you have Purple Mountain (Zhongshan Lingshan) which is covered in lush forests and ancient temples and gardens scattered all over themountainsides. You can hike up to the peak called Linggu and get an amazing view overlooking the entire city skyline. Then on the western edge of Nanjing, you have the mighty Yangtze River which is one of the longest rivers in the world! The riverside area is super lively with parks, walking paths, street food vendors, and these iconic bridges spanning the whole river. At night, the bridges light up in neon colors making the whole waterfront look magical. My friends and I love biking along the riverside paths on summer evenings.I could honestly go on and on about all the amazing things Nanjing has to offer, but I'll wrap it up so I don't put you to sleep! In summary, my hometown is an incredible place that perfectly blends ancient history and culture with modern amenities and natural beauty. If you ever visit China, be sure to add Nanjing to your itinerary. You won't regret it! Thanks for letting me gush about my beloved city.(2011 characters)篇2My Hometown of NanjingHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm nine years old. I live in the amazing city of Nanjing in eastern China. Nanjing is the capital of Jiangsu Province and has over 8 million people living there. It's a really old city with a super cool history!Nanjing used to be the capital of several ancient Chinese dynasties like the Ming Dynasty from 1368-1644. There are so many historical sites and relics left over from those times. One of the most famous is the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum where the Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, is buried. It's this gigantic underground palace and tomb with amazing stone carvings and architecture. My class went on a field trip there last year and I thought it was the coolest place ever!Another really awesome historical place in Nanjing is the Fuzimiao area. This was the center of the city during the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are all these ancient streets lined with traditional Chinese buildings and shops selling arts, crafts, snacks, and souvenirs. I love walking around taking in all the sights and smells. My favorite snack from there is the Nanjing funong doufu, which is a soft, delicious tofu dish. Yum!While Nanjing is famous for its history, it's also a modern, thriving city. My dad works at one of the big technologycompanies headquartered here. There are lots of offices, universities, businesses, and shopping areas full of tall skyscrapers and fancy stores. I'm always begging my parents to take me shopping on the big pedestrian streets like Xinjiekou! One of the most fun places in Nanjing for me is the Nanjing Aqua Cubic Water Park. It's this massive indoor water park with slides, pools, lazy rivers, and even surfing simulators! I always have a blast splashing around with my friends there on the weekends. The park is designed to look like it's underwater, with sea creatures and sunken ships decorating the different areas. So cool!My city has beautiful natural scenery as well. The famous Qinhuai River runs through the center, crossed by pretty bridges and lined with willow trees, restaurants, and bars. My grandparents live in an area along the river and I like riding my bike on the paths there. In the spring when all the trees are blooming it's just gorgeous! There are also some nice mountains and hills around Nanjing that make for great hiking spots. My favorite is Zijin Mountain, which has an old Buddhist temple called the Linggu Temple at the top. You can see amazing views of the entire city skyline from up there. Sometimes my family will pack a picnicand spend the whole day hiking the trails. I always have a ton of fun exploring. In the summer, Nanjing gets pretty hot and humid. But that's ok because there are several big public pools and water parks to cool off at. My personal favorite is the Olympic Sports Center which has diving pools, slides, and a huge wave pool that I can spend hours playing in. After wearing myself out in the water, I'll load up on shaved ice and other yummy frozen treats from the snack stands.I know I'm probably biased since I was born here, but in my opinion Nanjing really is the best city ever! It combines fascinating history and cultural heritage with modern amenities and fun attractions. There's a ton for kids like me to do, whether that's exploring ancient sites, going on adventures in nature, or just having a blast at theme parks and malls. I'm proud to call Nanjing my hometown and can't wait to show you around if you ever visit!那是英文2000字的文章,讲述了我家乡南京。
