Unit 4 Then and now Part B 教学设计 2
教学目标
1.能听、说、读、写单词或词组:cycling, ice-skate, badminton, go cycling.
2.能够听、说、认读句子:I didn't like winter before. I thought it was too cold, and I couldn't go cycling. How about now? Now I love to ice-skate and play in the snow.并能在实际情境中正确运用。

教学重难点
1.重点:能听、说、读、写单词:cycling, ice-skate, badminton, go cycling.
2.难点:记忆单词badminton
教具准备
1.配套的教学课件。

2.图片和单词卡。

3.录音机和磁带。

教学过程
一、热身(Warm-up)
Say the chant:
Garden, garden.
See the flowers, see the flowers.
Playground, playground.
Let-s run, let's run.
Dining hall, dining hall.
Have lunch, have lunch.
Grass, grass.
Play football, play football.
Gym, gym.
Play basketball, play basketball.
活动方式:要求学生边说chant,边做动作。

1.Play a game: Bomb
活动方式:教师将school, library, playground, computer room, art room, music room. dining hall, grass, gym等单词卡片贴在黑板上,并将炸弹放在某个单词下,要求学生按照顺序快速说出这些单词。

当读到埋有炸弹的单词时,全班学生则要跳过不能发出声音,如果谁违规了,全班学生则对着他说“One, two, bomb”。

2.活动:学校今昔谈
活动方式:学生两人一组就学校的过去和现在展开对话,然后教师请几组学生到讲台前表演。

如:
Sl: Was there a computer in the classroom ten years ago? S2: No, there was a TV and some fans in the classroom.
Sl: Was there a library in our school five years ago?
S2: Yes, but it was small. Now there is big and bright.
Sl: I like the gym. I often play basketball and ping-pong in it.
S2: But there was no gym three years ago.
Sl: You’re right.
3.活动:听一听,猜一猜
活动方式:教师藏起一张运动项目的图片,让学生根据老师的描述,猜一猜是哪项运动项目,在活动过程中,学生可以随时猜,直到猜对为止,猜对的学生应给予奖励。

如教师藏起一张踢足球的图片: T: We often play it on the playground.
S: Morning exercises.
T: No. We play a ball.
S: Basketball.
T: No. We often use our feet and head.
S: Football.
T: Yes.
教师示范后,可让一名学生抽出一张运动类的图片,由该生描述它的特征,其他学生来猜。

三、新课呈现( Presentation)
1.教学单词cycling和词组go cycling
教师描述:This is a sport. It’s a popular sport. It’s a cheap way to get around. It’s a sport of traveling on a bicycle.学生猜测后,教师出示骑车的图片说:This sport is cycling.教师
板书:cycling,并采用“大小声”的方式操练单词。

教师边说:go cycling边模仿骑车的动作,骑到某个学生面前模拟将自行车交给这位学生,这位学生接过自行车后接着模仿骑车的动作说:go cycling,依次类推,全班接力说词组。

游戏结束,教师板书:go cycling,全班边模拟骑车的动作边读词组。

2.教学单词badminton
教师出示羽毛球拍问学生:Do you like badminton? Can you play badminton? 教师板书:badminton,play badminton,教师先分音节带读单词,然后引导全班齐读单词,再比一比谁最快记住这个单词。

教师边挥动羽毛球拍边说:play badminton,然后教师将球拍交给学生,让学生也边挥拍边说词组。

3.教学单词ice-skate
教师出示冰鞋的图片问:Can you ice-skate? 学生回答:Yes, I can. (No, I can’t.)教师板书:ice-skate,用升降调带读单词,全班拼读记忆单词ice-skate。

4.教学句子I didn’t like winter before. I thought it was too cold, a nd I couldn’t go cycling.
教师提问:Which season do you like best? Why? 学生回答后,教师说:I like winter. But I didn’t like winter before. I thought it was too cold, and I couldn’t go cycling.板书:But I didn’t like winter before. I thought it was too cold, and I couldn’t go cycling. 告诉学生:thought是think的过去式,
could是can的过去式。

最后让学生说说这两句话的意思,引导全班齐读句子。

5.教学句子:How about now? Now I love to ice-skate and play in the snow.
教师:I didn’t like winter before. How about now? Guess, please.学生发言后教师说:Now I like winter. I love to ice-skate and play in the snow.教师板书句子:How about now? Now I love to ice-skate and play in the snow.全班齐读句子。

6.教学B.Let’s learn
(1)教师播放课文录音,全班静听,理解课文。

(2)再次播放B.Let’s learn的课文录音,学生边听边跟读。

(2)学生两人一组表演对话。

四、巩固与拓展(Consolidation and extension)
教学Listen, match and say
(1)学生独立观察图片。

(2)教师播放录音,学生听音连线。

(3)全班讲评订正。

(4)请学生根据范例,看图说句子。

五、家庭作业(Homework)
1.听录音,跟读单词。

2.完成活动手册配套练习。

3.用英文与朋友或家人谈论自己喜好的变化。
