它是以学生喜欢的话题“动物习性”为主要教学内容。
Unit 1中出现的重点句型有:Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They love bamboo. Snakes can’t hear. 相关的词汇有:bamboo,believe, lucky, CD-ROM, copy, fantastic。
我将本单元内容设计为本模块的第一课时。
本课时为新知识的呈现。
二、教学目标:1、知识目标:(1)能听说认读新单词:bamboo, lucky, believe, CD-ROM, copy, fantastic(2)能听懂、能实际运用句型: Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They love bamboo.Snakes can’t hear. It copies th e other snake.2、能力目标:通过本模块的学习,学生能用英语向他人描述某些动物的生活习性,以及能向他人询问动物的生活习性。
能将语言内容转化为实际交际。
3、文化意识与情感态度目标:通过学习中国国宝大熊猫等动物的习性,让学生领悟到大自然不仅有人类的存在,而且还要使生养我们的这个地球平衡发展,使学生进一步明确保护环境,爱护动物的重要性。
通过学习,激发学生保护和珍惜野生动物,使我们的家园更美丽和谐。
鼓励学生通过各种途径了解更多动物的生活习性。
三、教学重点和难点:重点:1、掌握以下单词:bamboo, lucky, believe, CD-ROM, copy, fantastic2、掌握下列句子:Pandas love bamboo. They eat for twelve hours a day.It says snakes can’t hear.难点:通过本模块的学习,学生能用英语向他人描述某些动物的生活习性。

学习用较大的数字表达长度,人口数量等。
主要教学目标是学习掌握How long is it? It’s about six thousand seven hundred kilometres.单词postcard, more, thousand, kilometre, million教学重点是能够运用How long is it? It’s about six thousand and seven hundred kilometres.这类语句谈论一个国家和地方的情况。
教学难点是1.数字的读法和用法。
2.如何创设情景帮助学生理解单词thousand, kilometer, million.我觉得本节课最大的成功之处就是教学循序渐进,注重提升和保持学生的学习兴趣,培养学生学习的能力。
在教学过程中,我从学习课文入手,在学生了解课文的基础上,指导学生用the Changjiang River 及six thousand three hundred kilometers 替换the GreatWall进行描述,用Tinan替换New York,进行描述,然后提供 the Changjiang River, Shanghaig等信息,让学生模仿着替换,然后依托课文,全班齐读替换后的课文,让学生初步学会如何描述一个景点或城市。
在此基础上,教师利用多媒体,展示有关北京人口信息,著名景点的图片,提供需要用到的句子,启发学生利用所学的句子描述自己暑假要旅行的地方抒发自己的真情实感,最后让学生试着写下来。
整个教学过程循序渐进,由浅入深,有利于培养学生的自学能力,也体现了高年级重点培养学生阅读能力和初步的写能力的目标。

学习运用句型: What’s the matter? I’ve got a stomach ache.What did you eat yesterday? I ate chocolate biscuits.运用活动式教学,辅以TPR教学法,充分发挥学生的主体地位,调动学生的积极性和团结协作的精神。
在教学中教育学生养成良好的饮食习惯。
重点:学会有关疾病的词汇,能充分运用所学的知识联系实际进行询问和描述自己和他人的病情。
难点:特殊疑问句的认知和使用。
教学准备:课件,CD, cassette,糖果等。
教学过程:Ⅰ. Preparation1 Greet to the children.2 The teacher show a bag to the kids, and say:“I’m very happy to have a class with all of you today. And I bring you some presents here. Can you guess what is in the bag?”The children guess.Then the teacher show the sweets to them.Ask the kids to guess the number of the sweets in order to revise numbers they learnt before. T: “We all like sweets. But don’t eat too many. It’s bad for your teeth and maybe it will make feelteethache or stomach ache. Today Sam meets trouble. What happened to him? Let’s see the story together!”Ⅱ. Presentation1 Play the cartoon of this text on the big screen. The pupils watch it and think the teacher’s question : Where is Sam?Then answer the question:He’s at the doctor’s.2 Listen to the cassette and follow it to read the dialogue sentence by sentence.3 Learn the text in details.1) Teach the new word: matter and the sentences What’s the matter? I’ve got a stomach ache.(write them on the board) Show the words which are connected with ache on the screen and ask the kids to say the chant after the teacher , do the actions as well.Headache, headache, earacheToothache, toothache, backache2) Elicit the children to ask and answer with the sentence structure. Encourage the kids to act the illness with gestures. Then say the chant: What, what, what’s the matter? I’ve I’ve I’ve got a headache.What, what, what’s the matter? I’ve I’ve I’ve got a toothache.3) Teach the new word: medicine spell it and read it in different intonation. Learn the new phrase: take this medicine and do the actionstogether.4 Ask the children to read the text after the teacher and find the sentence with I’ve got…5 Let the pupils to read the text by themselves.6 The teacher and the students read the dialogue in two charactors together.7 The children practice reading of the text in pairs.8 Ask and answer the questions about the story.What’s the matter with Sam? He ate thirty biscuits.ⅢPractice1 Show the short essay on the big screen and ask the kids to fill in the blanks with the given words. 第二单元还专门设计了listen and say.then sing。
在这里,同学们可以结合本单元的内容,唱一唱,说一说,玩一玩,做一做,动动脑筋,使英语学习成为一件快乐的事情。
这学期的教学内容,在继续培养学生的听、说、写的基础上,继续侧重学生阅读理解方面的能力,同时也继续要求学生在写能力方面进行要求,引导学生写出简单的小短文。
继续对出现在每一个模块中的语法点进行形象的,生动的讲解。
做好小学阶段的复习工作。
在复习阶段,应该加大练习量,在复习中提高学生的口头表达和复习重点:三、教学重难点1.能按教学要求掌握所学单词。
2. 能按教学要求掌握所学句型。
3. 能使用日常交际用语,活用四会句型,进行简单的交流,做到大胆开口、发音正确。
4. 能在图片、手势、情境等非语言提示的帮助下,听懂清晰的话语和录音。

四、练习与答案解析为了帮助学生巩固本单元的知识点,我们提供了丰富的练习题,包括:选择题,填空题,判断题,连线题等。
答案解析部分将对每道题进行详细解答,以帮助学生找出错误,改正发音,增强自信心。

1.热身复习
1)有节奏的颂唱上一单元的儿歌。
2)听写上一单元的单词。
2. 导入:
给学生播放一段表现学校中的违规行为的录像片断,例如:上课时看课外书、在教学楼的楼梯上追跑打闹等。
老师一边播放一边询问学生:“录像中的学生在做什么?当你看到这个情景,你想对他们说些什么?’引导学生说出:“Please listen to the teacher! Don’t run on the stairs!”老师把句子写到黑板上。
老师告诉学生,录像里的学生违反了学校的行为规范。
询问他们还知道学校的哪些行为规范。
请学生们大胆发言,各抒己见。
然后,老师可以引导学生尽可能多地说出不同场所的行为规范或规章制度。
老师询问学生,图书馆中一般会有哪些规章制度。
学生可能不会用英语很好地表达。
告诉学生:今天的课文就是关于图书馆中的规章制
度的。
3.课文教学
老师使用录音SB活动1。
老师可以播放三遍录音。
放第一遍时要求学生了解课文大意。
放第二遍时要求学生找出带有“Please?”和“Don’t”的句子。
然后试着说出句子,由老师写在黑板上。
放第三遍时要求学生总结出“Library Rules”,由老师板书。
此时,老师可以引导学生完成AB练习l。
老师可以针对课文内容向学生提问,以此了解学生对课文的理解情况,例如:
l. When do they go to the library?
At ten to five.
2 What does Simon find?
He finds a book.
3. What does the man say to Simon?
He says “Look at the library rule.”
4 What are the library rules?
1) Don’t talk in the Library.
2) Please be quiet.
3) Please stand in line.
老师对板书的句子加以总结,可以通过表情和手势使学生更加明确“Please”与D on’t...”的含义。
然后请学生两人一组一起看SB活动2的插图,试着根据插图展开对话。
老师放录音,请学生跟读,然后让学
生两人一组继续练习书上的对话。
请学生队小组为单位表演课文对话。
鼓励学生在表演时添加适当的动作和表情。
全班选出今天的“最佳表演小组”,由老师进行表扬和奖励。
4. 活动一:
8人一组组成读书小组,写下想借的书名(英文),并设计好可能用到的对话内容,做好实践课的准备。
5. 活动二:
实践活动:教师带领学生到图书室上课,实践才是硬道理。
是可准备一个像“班牌”或“接机牌”,在上面依次贴上进图书室后的流程,通过抽换及时提醒学生。
如:Don’t talk in the library! (可能的话再配上些简笔画或手势帮助学生理解)
然后教师充当图书管理员,学生8人小组选完书后向图书管理员借书。
师发给学生书,同时附一张图书馆规则,让学生以小组为单位译成中文。
完成该项活动。
6.课后作业
1)抄写课后单词;每天听磁带20分钟;
2)完成练习册上这一单元的作业。
