Appreciation of byron's <i saw the weep> I saw the weep
I saw the weep
The big bright tear
Come over the blue
And then methought it did appear
A violet dropping dew
I saw the smile
The sapphires blaze
It could not match the living rays
That filled that glance of thine
As clouds from yonder sun receive
A deep and mellow dye
Which scarce the shade of coming eve Can banish from the sky
Those smiles unto the moodiest mind Their own pure joy impart
Their sunshine leaves a glow behind
That lightens over heart
I must to say this is my time read this prom. Tacking about that, i must say thanks to our teacher frist. Because if not do this housework ,i would not find so beautiful and nice prom. As for byron ,about his memory only from chinese class. Except a little and easy recommend about him in the book, i haven't more know him before.
Because this housework, i found shakespeare shelley and byron's prom. When i frist saw this prom, i was attracted by its frist sentence "i saw the weep the big bright tear come over the blue ". I can believe english prom can equal with chinese pre-tang poetry.
I know this isn't the most prom of byron, he have < ode to the west wind >,have < don juan>. But its my favorite lyric english prom i have seen. It is mainly due to the simplicity and allegoric of the poem praise of the silent love.
There are four point of this prom. In this four point byron used two expression "cry"and "smile", tell us one lady who byron full in deep love, so the lady's tear and smile both so beautiful and attracted.
In the frist point of this prom,byron said he had see his
weep."the big bright tear come over the blue ", he say the tear is come over , like the tear can move itself, a tear beside the blue eye , especially she is a beautiful lady. How nice a picture. "And then methought it did appear a violet dropping dew" byron ask himself if he even seen so nice picture , oh ,yes ! Its must a violet dropping dew. The lady is a beautiful and youth violet, the most beautiful flower in the world.
In the second point of this prom, its the youth lady's smile. In byron's eye , hers smile can shine . "The sapphires blaze It could not match the living rays That filled that glance of thine" Do you see the sapphires,its beautiful? I think most people will say "yes". So can you think the eye that more beautiful than the sapphires. Hers slime is shine beautiful than the light of sapphires. How attracted the lady is.
In the thrid point , "As clouds from yonder sun receive A deep and mellow dye", hers smile also like sunshine , like few sunshine you can see when them through the cloud, shining the far in the after. So beautiful scenery."Which scarce the shade of coming eve Can banish from the sky". I must to say.byron used few word can build a so wonderful scenery for us. In this writing i seem find the publish notice like "no matter how big challenge , it can't stop my love for you".
The last point is the finshing touch of this prom."Those smiles unto the moodiest mind Their own pure joy impart " the lover's smile make byron fell peaceful and happiness. You can say its love . Everyone who in love must fell peaceful and have a smile in them face. This the power of love."Their sunshine leaves a glow behind That lightens over heart " . The smile is you face ,would stay my heart forever. Until that time when byron's heart live in the lover byron's heart would lightness and never have night. She is his sun.
What is love? From byron we can know love is she is the most beautiful in you eye. No matter she is cry or smile,they both the most beautiful scenery in the world. So cherish you love, its god's present.

Sorry teacher, in this work. I haven't quote. Because what i writer is all my own understanding about this prom. I can find many other view about it. And i so like this prom. So i choose this prom and writer down my own not good understanding. May be its not good even some place is wrong, but its my own ideas. Wish teacher can like it.
