Unit 1 Dream Homes单元语法专练基数词1.基数词的构成:(1)1~12为独立的单词,有其各自的形式。

(2)13~19都以teen结尾,都有两个重读音节。

(3)20~90之间的整十数都以ty结尾。

(4)表示20~99之间的非整十数时,先说十位数,再说个位数。

书写时十位和个位之间要加连字符。

(5)表示101~999之间的数时,先说百位数,再加and,再加末两位数(或末位数)。

(6)表示1000以上的数时,先从右往左数,每三位用一个逗号隔开,第一个逗号表示thousand,第二个表示million,第三个表示billion,然后再一节一节表示。

注意:①hundred,thousand,million,billion前有具体数字时,用单数形式。

②hundred,thousand,million,billion的复数形式后接of,表示泛指的数目。

2.基数词的用法:(1)表示数量的多少。

(2)表示年份、年代、年龄。

年份要用基数词,每两位一读。

(3)表示时刻。

(4)表示编号。

①简单的编号(一位数或两位数),一般用普通的基数词表示即可。

例如:No.16读作number sixteen 第16号②较长的数字,就用简化的方法读。

例如:Page 135读作page one three five 第135页序数词1.序数词的构成:(1)大多数序数词都是在基数词词尾加上th构成的,而first,second,third需要特别记忆。

(2)表示4~19的序数词,除fifth,eighth,ninth,twelfth的拼写特殊外,其余都在相应的基数词词尾加th构成。

如seventh,thirteenth,nineteenth。

(3)表示20~90之间的整十的序数词,将基数词词尾的y变为ie,再加上th构成。

如twentieth,seventieth,ninetieth。

(4)表示21~99之间的非整十的序数词,只需将个位上的基数词变为序数词,中间用连字符连接。
