课前预习 1. 预习听读书P 38 Let's talk, P39Let's learn。

2. 预习P 38动词词组playing sports, climbing mountains, listening

to music, watching TV, playing the pipa, drawing cartoons等。

教学内容 Unit 4 I have a pen pal A Let's talk

教学目标 1. 能在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意,并回答对话后的问题。

2. 能用正确的语音、语调朗读对话,并能进行角色表演。

3. 能够用所学语言就朋友的爱好以及相关信息进行交流,培养综合语言能力: What’s his/her name? How old is he/she? Where is

he/she from? What are his/her hobbies? What’s he/she like? 并作出的答案。

4. 大致了解新西兰这个国家,以及这个国家的基本特点;了解中国民歌 Jasmine Flower,提升学生的文化视野和素养。

教学重点 能在情境中运用句型What are ...'s hobbies? He/She likes ...交流相关内容。

教学难点 能够综合表达与交流笔(朋)友的信息。

导入 1. Look and say.

2. Talk about the students' hobbies.

新授 探究一:Let’s try:

1.Listen and judge.

2.Listen and answer the questions.

探究二:What are their hobbies? 2 探究三:Special hobby and same hobbies.

练习 1. 练习一:Role reading or role play.

一、Warming up

1. Look and say.

T: Look at the pictures, what are their hobbies?

S: He/she likes ... (singing, dancing, doing kung fu, reading stories, playing football,

playing the pipa, drawing cartoons, playing basketball, listening to music)

2. Talk about the students' hobbies.

T: I like listening to music and reading books. What are your hobbies?

S: I like ...

Pair work 4 设计意图:师生交谈,引入话题,在观看图片和交流的过程中激活已学过的动词词组,自然地操练问答爱好的句型。

二、Presentation

探究一:Let’s try:

1. Listen and judge.

T: Who's that boy?

T: Zhang Peng and Oliver are talking about his pen pal. Listen and write T or F.

学生听音完成书P38 练习。

2. Listen and answer the questions.

T:Listen again and answer the questions: What are Peter's hobbies? Where is he

from?

学生看文本,听音回答问题,教师根据学生回答,完善板书信息,然后播放介绍新西兰的短片。

T:New Zealand is so beautiful. There are many farms in New Zealand.

设计意图:Let's try的录音,既初步介绍了Peter 的一项兴趣爱好,也交代了Peter来自哪里,可以逐步完善Peter的个人信息,为学生能综合介绍笔友或朋友做好铺垫。视频方式介绍新西兰,特别强调There are many farms in New Zealand.也便于解读对话文本中句子He lives on a farm , so sometimes he reads to the cows.

探究二:Listen and tick: What are their hobbies?

T: What are Peter's other hobbies? He likes playing basketball. What else? Let's listen

and tick.

学生完成学习单听音任务,并完整汇报Peter likes... He also likes...

T: Listen again and tick. What are Oliver’s hobbies? What are Zhang Peng’s hobbies?

学生完成学习单听音任务,并完整汇报Oliver likes... Zhang Peng likes... 、

探究三:Special hobby and same hobbies.

T: So many hobbies here. Which is the special hobby? Why?

S: Reading stories.

T: Many of us like reading stories. Why it is special?

S: Because he reads to the cows. 5 听音跟读文本句子。

T:Let's have a mini show.

请三人上台,一人扮演Zhang Peng读旁白内容,一人扮演牛,一人扮演Peter. 观众根据学生表演,评价That's interesting.

T:Do they have the same hobby?

S: Singing.

听音跟读文本句子,并欣赏歌曲《茉莉花》。

设计意图:两次听音,分别整理出三个人的爱好,并以special hobby 和same hobby两个追问,深入文本细节,强化核心句型。Mini Show的形式,以趣味方式巩固难点句型,提高学生语言表达能力和学习积极性。《茉莉花》是一首著名的中国民歌,欣赏歌曲,提升文化素养。

探究四:Read along.

T: Let's read along. 学生听音逐句跟读。

T: Read together.

T: Read by yourself.

设计意图:不同难度梯度的跟读、齐读、自由读,在反复朗读训练中培养正确的语言面貌。

三、Consolidation

1. 练习一:Role reading or role play.

T:Show time. You can choose role reading or role play.

学生两人一组,选择不同难度的挑战。

设计意图:角色朗读或角色扮演,由学生根据自己的能力,自由选择,朗读或表演结束,让学生评价,分层学习,提高学习效率。

2. 练习二:Talk about the teacher's pen pal.

T: Look, this is my pen pal. What do you want to know about him?

引导学生提问,教师问答,鼓励学生加入评价语。

设计意图:介绍教师的笔友,以学生问,老师答的方式,降低交流难度,为综合对话交流做铺垫。
