何以象雅各这样诡诈的人，会成为神特别赐福的人呢？他一生中满得神的恩惠和眷顾，且成为以色列人三大先祖之一(神被称为亚伯拉罕，以撒，雅各的神)，而那被骗去长子福分的以扫反而无分于神所赐给亚伯拉罕的应许。

这真是一件费解的事。

其实所有人，按本质都是大同小异的罪人。

我们不要以为只有雅各是诡诈的，其实所有人都是诡诈的。

例如以扫，虽然是受雅各之欺骗，但也不是个善人君子，也有他狡猾之处。

雅各虽然诡诈，对神的恩典却非常渴慕，热切地要得着，表示他对神的应许有信心；而以扫则轻视神的恩典。

这是他们大不相同之处。

神并非根据雅各的好或坏赐恩给他，对以扫也是一样。

人的好坏只不过程度上的少许差别。

但一个比较好的人，轻忽神的恩典，与一个比较坏的人，却重视神的恩典，在神看来却有很大的差别。

前者虽比别人略胜一筹，但在神前仍是个罪人。

后者虽比较坏些，却可以凭着神的恩典得着拯救和改变，成为神所喜悦的人。

创世记用了许多篇幅记载雅各的事，而最先记的一段事迹，是关乎他和以扫的事。

创世记记载人的事迹时，常以对比方式两个、两个的记载，例如:该隐和亚伯、以诺与拉麦(该隐子孙)、挪亚与他同时代的人，以实玛利与以撒等。

在此，我们要从本段经文中留意；以扫失福与雅各蒙福的原因，以及他们的事迹所给我们的教训和鉴戒。

〖一、以扫打猎〗“以扫善于打猎，常在田野。

”(创25:27)圣经给我们看见亚伯拉罕的家族乃是牧羊的，神藉他们牧羊的工作使他们富足起来。

按古时的人，许多是靠打猎── ─种杀害夺取的职业──维持生活的；但神的选民却是靠牧养牲畜或耕种生活。

牧羊在当时可以说是一种积极性和生产性的职业。

Even in the birth and early years of Jacob and Esau, we see two opposing sides(Gen. 26:22-28).B. Today, we will notice the first two stories that we have of Jacob and Esau.1. In both of these stories, we see that Jacob is deceiving Esau and takingsomething that did not rightfully belong to him.2. Because of these two stories, Jacob is going to flee from Esau.C. The purpose of this lesson is to see not just the betrayal of Jacob towards Esau, butthat we see the forgiveness that Esau offered to Jacob.I. Jacob took advantage of Esau when he bought his birthright for the stew (Gen.25:29-34).A. Esau was weary and hungry when he came in from the field (25:29-34).1. Esau had been in the field hunting.2. When he returned, he was hungry and asked Jacob for some stew.3. Jacob gave him the stew on the condition that he was given thebirthright.a. The birthright was extremely important to the oldest child.b. It gave him the greater blessing from the father.c. It also gave him a double portion of the inheritance.B. It is clear that Jacob took advantage of his brother.1. Some today would say that he was just making a business deal; and thatif Esau was willing to pay the price, it was good business.a. If we were to be honest, we would say that Jacob stole thebirthright of Esau.b. However, we cannot deny the fact that Jacob was takingadvantage of his brother.2. This certainly does not mean that Esau was innocent.a. Gen. 25:34b - Thus Esau despised his birthright.b. Heb. 12:16-17 (as the writer was talking about those who hadfallen short of the grace of God) - lest there be any fornicator orprofane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold hisbirthright. {17} For you know that afterward, when he wanted toinherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place forrepentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.II. Jacob deceived Isaac in order to take the more prominent blessing (Gen. 27:1-40).A. Isaac was determined to bless his son, Esau (27:1-40).1. Isaac tells Esau to go and catch and prepare game for him (27:1-5).2. However, Rebekah overheard what Isaac said to Esau and told Jacob todeceive his father (27:5-17).3. J acob goes into his father and deceives him in order to receive theblessing (27:18-29).4. Isaac blesses Esau with an inferior blessing (27:30-40).B. Esau was furious with Jacob, and vows to kill him (27:41).1. Esau was just waiting for the days of mourning for his father to endbefore he killed his brother.2. The only reason he did not kill Jacob immediately was because ofIsaac.3. One can only imagine the hatred that Esau had for his own brother.4. Jacob had taken away everything from him, and he was ready to killhim.C. When Rebekah discovered this plan, she again tricks Isaac into allowingJacob to leave (27:41ff).1. She gets Isaac to allow Jacob to go to Laban, the brother of Rebekah toask for a wife from among their family.2. The real reason for her request was to save Jacob from Esau.III. Even though Jacob treated Esau terribly, it is in the reaction of Esau that we learn of true forgiveness (Gen. 33:1-17).A. When we last saw Jacob and Esau together, Esau wanted to kill Jacob(27:41).1. Remember what Jacob has done to Esau.a. He had stolen him birthright for a little stew.b. He had deceived his father in order to steal his blessing.c. On top of all that, Jacob had fled from Esau and had been gonefor twenty years.2. If anyone ever had the right to be angry, it was Esau.B. Jacob was afraid that Esau was still angry with him because of what he haddone to him.1. When Jacob sent messengers to meet Esau, Esau came out to meetJacob with 400 men (32:1-6).2. Jacob was afraid of Esau, and so he divided his possessions so that ifEsau was still angry with him, he could only take half of hispossessions (32:7-12).3. He also determined to give Esau whatever came to him that night as apresent for Esau (32:13-21).C. Even after all the things that Jacob had done to him, Esau was willing toforgive Jacob (33:1-4).1. Esau was willing to forgive Jacob unconditionally.a. If anyone had the right to be angry and hold a grudge, it wasEsau.b. His brother had stolen his birthright and his blessing.2. Esau gives us a great example of the unconditional nature offorgiveness.a. Today, we must be willing to forgive others unconditionally.For if you forgive men their trespasses, your-6:14-151) Mt.heavenly Father will also forgive you. {15} But if you donot forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Fatherforgive your trespasses.2) Mt. 18:35 (After Jesus tells the parable of the unforgivingservant) - So My heavenly Father also will do to you ifeach of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother histrespasses.3) If we are not willing to forgive others, God will not bewilling to forgive us.b. After forgiveness was offered, Esau never held this against hisbrother.c. When we forgive others, we no longer hold the act against them.1) When God forgives us, He forgets the very act of sin.a) Heb. 8:12 - For I will be merciful to theirunrighteousness, and their sins and their lawlessdeeds I will remember no more.b) Heb. 10:17 - then He adds, “Their sins and theirlawless deeds I will remember no more.”2) When we forgive others, we need to forget the act that theycommitted.a) Obviously, we cannot “forget” the sins of othersagainst us.b) But we can not hold it against them any more. Conclusion:A. One of the great lessons that we learn from Jacob and Esau is the necessity ofunconditional forgiveness.B. 第三⼗⼆章雅各雅各準備重⾒準備重⾒準備重⾒以掃以掃1雅各踏上旅途，上帝的天使來看他。

2他看到他們，說：「這是上帝的軍 隊。

3雅各先派⼀個報信的到西珥，也就是以東國 － 他的哥哥以掃那裡。

4他吩咐報信的說：「你們對我哥哥以掃要這麼說：『您的僕⼈雅各說：我寄居在拉班那裡，直到現在。

5我有⽜、綿⽺、山⽺、驢、男僕、⼥僕。

現在我派⼈向您報告這個消息，希望得到您的厚愛。

』」6報信的回去對雅各說：「我們去過您哥哥以掃那裡了。

他現在正往這邊來，要和您⾒⾯，還有四百個⼈跟他⼀起來。

」7雅各⾮常害怕，把⾃己所帶的⼈分成兩批，也把⽺群、⽜群、駱駝分成兩批。

8他想：「如果以掃來攻擊⼀批，另外⼀批可以逃⾛。

」9然後，雅各禱告說：「我祖⽗亞伯拉罕的上帝啊！我⽗親以撒的上帝啊！主啊，您曾經對我說：『回到你的家鄉、你的親族那裡去，我會使你興旺。

』10您對僕⼈顯⽰的⼀切仁慈和信實，我實在不配得。

我當初渡過這約旦河的時候，只有⼀⽀拐杖。

如今卻擁有兩批⼈⾺了。

11我怕哥哥以掃會來攻打我和我的妻⼦、兒⼥。

我祈求您，不要讓我毀在他的⼿裡。

12因為您曾經應許我說：『我⼀定要使你興旺，使你的⼦孫多得像海灘上數不完的細沙。

』」13他在那裡過了夜，然後從⾃己所有的財物中，選出⼀些要給哥哥當禮物，包括14母山⽺⼆百隻，公山⽺⼆⼗隻，母綿⽺⼆百隻，公綿⽺⼆⼗隻，15帶著⼩駱駝的母駱駝三⼗匹，母⽜四⼗頭，公⽜⼗頭，母驢⼆⼗匹，公驢⼗匹。

16他叫僕⼈照顧這些牲畜，每種牲畜⾃成⼀群。

他對他們說：「你們⾛在我的前⾯，群和群之間要保持⼀點距離。

」17他⼜囑咐領先的僕⼈說：「如果我哥哥遇⾒你，問你說：『你是誰家的？要上那裡去？你前⾯的所有這些牲畜是誰的？』18你就說：『牠們是您的僕⼈雅各的，是要送給我主以掃當禮物的。

他⾃己就在我們後⾯來了。

』」19雅各也囑咐第⼆個、第三個，和其他趕牲畜的僕⼈說：「你們遇⾒以掃的時候，也要這樣說，20⽽且⼀定要說：『您的僕⼈雅各就在我們後⾯來了。
